The care and attention that Milestone has put into it, coupled in with the frankly ridiculous amount of content (including the amount of vehicles and modes) makes this an easy recommendation to add to your collection.

Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo is a game about mud, traction, frustration, snow, barriers, time warping and frustration, the kind of racing experience that a lot of players will decide is much too hard to master to be fun at any point.

Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo is a good rally game, although it doesn't live up to its potential. In some regards it's better than the previous WRC titles from Milestone, the amount of content is truly remarkable, and the gameplay presents a less realistic and challenging experience.

Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo is a pretty good racing game with a lot of good ideas. If you are a fan of this sport, you should give it a try.

Milestone brings us a game full of content, although it doesn't make it to the higher tiers of the driving genre. Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo will appeal to rallies and french driver fans, living all of his career, although we're still waiting for that great rally game we're eager to play.

It has its fair share of rough edges and the multiplayer options are basic at best, but despite signs of Milestone’s ambitions outweighing the games’ relatively limited budget, they have nonetheless created a solid, entertaining, and above all else, incredibly deep rally driving experience.

Another rally game that fails to deliver. Even though it is suitable for a more casual audience, because of its poor content and dated technology Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo disappoints.

I haven't got any complaints with what I've seen so far, just positives. The wheel ffb is great, the physics are better than any rally title that's gone before it (on console, including previous gen), and the realistic stages are superb.

I'll be getting the console edition of DiRT Rally, but in the meantime, I'm very happy to have SL Rally evo in my motorsports collection.

AwesomeI bought this game as a gift for one of my friends and he had the chance to play it yesterday all day long. We just couldn’t stop! Awesome game! The physics in Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo are much better than that and in every possible way and I like having fifty cars or so in the garage. Everything from WRC to JWRC, hill climb PWRC, rally cross, and Group B Expand

Unlike WRC 4, Milestone's last rally game, the cars in Rally EVO are very difficult to drive and behave realistically. Be prepared to invest some time mastering them. This is not a title for those looking for an arcade driving experience. One criticism, the engine sounds could be louder and the audio overall is quite lackluster. Expand

I would recommend this game to actual fans of rally and people who actually know about the legendary Sebastien Loeb. Fans are going to like it because of the absolute wealth of content. The driving itself is more like Dirt Rally where there's more simulation than arcade although this game is a lot easier than Dirt Rally. However I would like to tell non-fans to go buy WRC 5 instead as it's more arcade like and better for new comers to rally. Expand

You should know that different cars feel different here. I hated the car they give you at first, but after getting more decent cars the experience improved.

If you're new to the genre, know that most of the game is a "time attack" sort of thing, you don't see your opponents while racing, ultimately you should just beat the time. This "AI" time is inconsistent. In one race I get the gold medal, in the next one I get the last place. There is no "learning" involved, the times are just off. This seriously undermines the fun to be had.

There are still a few other modes, namely rallycross and elimination, but they are few.

In general the game is tough on easy difficulty. For comparison, I beat Ride 2 and stood on the peak of world standing without much trouble on easy difficulty.

If you get the game, make sure you don't throw it until you try the Loeb experience. With the interviews with Loeb and the different cars they give you to try (and unlock), it was a great experience (even if I only beat about half the events so far).

I recommend the game on deep sale.

I don't know if it was the game, or the wheel, but the overall driving experience was awful. Far from what you feel in real life. If you switch from a car, -any car, not just racing ones- to this game, you will be surprised (in a bad way). The handling is really slow (it reacts around half a second later than your input), the feedback you get is weird (as in the steering firms and softens when you least expect it), and the physics are just as terrible. The only thing I like about it is the rich content (car selection, stages, etc.). Other than that, it is a failed attempt of a rally game. Expand
