Managing an airplane sounds very complicated but Bomber Crew simplifies it to such an extent that it becomes fun. Gameplay is excellent and provides plenty of entertainment and with all the strategical options at your disposal there is plenty of depth here. While audiovisually simple, it simply works. It does feel a bit barren and the controls could have been optimized for the DualShock controller, so take that into account.- PlaySense

MGXP PRO is pretty much the same game as the previous iteration. Sure, there are some improvements in the graphical department. Physics are at times more realistic than before and the big old playground called Compound is back. Negatives? Load times are far too long, the reset system is frustrating because it's highly inconsistent, the game lacks innovation and we could go on.- PlaySense

A story-based puzzle game which excels mainly in the latter. Puzzles quickly become challenging and that makes for a fun experience due in large part to great audiovisuals. The image sometimes stutters while turning the puzzle but apart from this minor issue this game is plenty of fun.- PlaySense

The Crew 2 is one of the most diverse racing games we have ever played where the entirety of the United States is your personal playground. Racing, sailing and flying in this world truly is entertaining and the game offers enough content to last you quite a while. The game does suffer from a couple of issues however. The AI can be severely limited at times, the physics are simplified, some areas on the map aren't used at all and trying to navigate anywhere during a race is horrible. Plenty of issues in other words but none are so severe that you won't enjoy this game for quite some time to come.- PlaySense

The only positive aspect about this game is being able to modify your Gunpla extensively. Apart from that there are framerate issues, the missions are all identical, inputs aren't registered very well and so forth. New Gundam Breaker is trash, avoid it like the plague.- PlaySense

A fun VR-puzzler which offers a lot of value for money. The game's theme combined with relatively simple graphics and some overly happy J-Pop songs simply work. The early levels are far too easy and severely underestimate the player. When the difficulty ramps up, the game improves significantly. Tracking doesn't work well for the motion controller option which makes the DualShock 4 the preferred way to play. Which is a shame because it feels less natural.- PlaySense

Bomberman returns after years of absence and the game offers a varied campaign and a multiplayer mode which at the time of writing feels online a bit empty. Some badly designed levels combined with a faulty camera cause some cheap deaths and the credit system is pretty awkward. Nonetheless the game still remains a fun title.- PlaySense

A traditional LEGO game with highly recognizable gameplay, humour and great atmosphere. Although both movies are incorporated in this game, you are forced to play the second part first while we can imagine that a group of players want to start with the first part. There isn't any choice on that matter, which is a bit strange. Some inputs aren't registered correctly and the camera is sometimes annoying but overall, these minor gripes don't detract from this fun title.- PlaySense

A fun episode that places you in the shoes of a youngster with an extremely vivid imagination. To accomplish his super hero dreams there's plenty of side quests to complete which are challenging yet fun, but there's a fair amount of trial and error involved which gets frustrating. The overall story is pretty good although it is somewhat disappointing that apparently your choices don't affect the final outcome at all.- PlaySense

You'd expect a lot of progress when a developer transitions to a newer engine but the opposite holds true for MotoGP 18. Load times are excruciating and visually the game is mediocre at best. Gameplay remains largely the same as previous editions and is anything but innovative. Unbelievably, the Managerial Career mode from the previous game is absent much to the detriment of MotoGP 18. This game definitely takes some steps back so we'd suggest sticking to MotoGP 17.- PlaySense

The cut scenes in this game are well made and a sight to behold but that's the only positive aspect to Shaq-Fu. Gameplay is a drag and the script is absolutely terrible. Audio visually this game is a throwback to the early 00's and believe it or not but this title actually plays worse than the original. Even if this was done intentionally, we didn't appreciate it.- PlaySense

Unravel Two offers solid gameplay a little bit too similar to the original with the added element of co-op. The audiovisual aspect deserves some recognition because the game looks and sounds great. The sequel obviously lacks the originality of the first game especially because many levels will feel familiar to those who played the first Unravel. The story isn't all that great either.- PlaySense

This game should have been the ultimate fan service to One Piece fans but unfortunately the game severely disappoints. The limited gameplay that the title offers is repetitive and doesn't add a whole lot. The parts where you're blasting ships and a Kraken is fun but wears thin very quickly. An innovative arcade racer that is highly entertaining, both offline and online. The singleplayer will entertain you for a long time to come and the online component is an adrenaline-fueled funfest. The career mode is pretty entertaining but that's about the only quality of this game. Controlling your player leaves a lot to be desired for one. A fun collection with a lot of diverse games that invokes a lot of nostalgia. The games are emulated perfectly and extra options such as load and save states come in extremely handy. At its core this is a solid package but the fact that the controls are poorly explained is a missed opportunity. Also, a number of high profile third party titles are blatantly absent. There aren't any extra features either but it doesn't take away from the fact that this is a solid package overall.- PlaySense

The roguelike space shooter from ROCKfish games successfully blasts its way onto the PlayStation 4. Everspace successfully merges concepts from big hitters such as Elite Dangerous, No Man's Sky and FTL: Faster Than Light and it's procedurally generated universe never gets old. Shooting at everything that remotely resembles the Zed is entertaining enough in VR although repetition rears its head after a short while. The coop action is capable and audio-visually the game is fine although it never really stands out in anything it tries to accomplish. Teleportation as a means to move around is a bit of a bummer and the fact that you automatically drop some guns is something you'll never get used to. The puzzles are far too easy. This updated 4K version of the 2013 release is great fun. The handcrafted graphics will blow your mind and the game does a great job of fusing together different genres. Online or local 4-player multiplayer is an absolute treat and hat's off to Vanillaware for enabling cross generational cross play features. The story is a bit stale and the online component is only made available after a couple of hours of single player campaign, which is a weird decision. The game successfully fuses different genres together. Each new adventure presents you with randomly selected levels which do a great job of conveying the sense of survival. The longer you spend with the game however, the more its flaws become apparent. Time Carnage shouldn't be faulted for its technical aspects since those are absolutely solid. Where the title does fall flat on its back is in the generic design - it lacks any standout feature to make it distinguish itself from the ocean of available stationary VR wave shooters. World of Warriors is a pretty entertaining title which excels in coop gameplay. Island Time VR's mascot Carl (voiced by Kinda Funny's Greg Miller) can't save this game from mediocrity. The game doesn't belong on PlayStation VR as it painfully reminds us of the platform's well-known technical limitations such as limited tracking capabilities and limited control options. The game often feels unfair because of the lackluster controls and when repetition sets in, you wish you were playing something else instead. However, if you're not all that bothered by this, the game's unique characters and fleshed out online modes will keep you busy for a long time to come.- PlaySense

There's still a lot of growth potential in the Dissidia franchise, with its unique 'Bravery' system and strategic qualities. However, Square Enix doesn't exactly pull out all the stops with this iteration.- PlaySense

The Inpatient looks and sounds great, but it's also dreadfully slow and not all that interesting. The inconsistent control scheme is the final straw.- PlaySense

The authentic medieval atmosphere makes this virtual world a joy to get lost in... Or at least that would be the case, if the game weren't absolutely riddled with bugs and other technical issues. As it stands, this supposed piece of entertainment is a jumbled mess.- PlaySense

Still one of the best games ever made... Made even better by PS4 technology. Shame the camera still doesn't entirely act the way it should, but besides that an absolute must have thanks to the unique experience, magical soundtrack and outstanding overhauled graphics.- PlaySense

A wonderful traditional fighting game with fantastic (online) gameplay and stunning visuals, that disappoints only a bit in its small roster of characters.- PlaySense

A fine concept isn't enough on its own merit... Especially with repetitive mission design and a control scheme that never manages to work properly. Skip it!- PlaySense

Lost Sphear is old school to the bone and all the better for it. A lengthy experience, this RPG does everything the way the golden oldies did... Though to call it unique or special would be a bridge too far.- PlaySense

Especially enjoyable in co-op, Monster Hunter World offers a tremendous amount of challenge and exploration, enough to keep fans busy for months or years to come. If not for the limited crafting options and graphical glitches, this game might have warranted a perfect score.- PlaySense

Same old, same old... Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory delivers more of the same and is therefore more than good enough... The incredibly slow starting hours, however, do kind of hurt the overall experience.- PlaySense

It's a bit brief and the controls are lacking, but don't let that keep you from giving InnerSpace a shot. It's a relaxing experience with a unique, colourful style, that really makes it stick out from the pack.- PlaySense

Sky Force Reloaded is a pleasant surprise. It's a slightly repetitive, but always challenging experience that impresses with an unconventional progression system. Fans of Resogun need not doubt.- PlaySense

Dead Rising 4 continues the series' focus on absurd fun, with a mixture of insane weaponry and idiotic enemies. It makes for a cute singleplayer adventure, to be sure, though the same cannot be said for the game's repetitive multiplayer, which flatout doesn't always work properly.- PlaySense

A great story on its own just isn't enough to warrant a purchase. Not when it's hampered by an ungodly amount of framedrops and loading times, as well as lackluster controls. Shame, cause this tale deserved to be told in a better way.- PlaySense

Graphically, it's difficult to do better on VR and the great soundtrack will remain stuck in our heads for a while, though none of these high points quite make up for the clumsy control scheme.- PlaySense

A varied collection of songs and a number of interesting modes make SingStar Celebration the ultimate karaoke game. Using your phone to capture your voice works fine... though at times it will pick up your friend's baritone as well, with unpredictable results.- PlaySense

In this game, just about everything feels wrong. The story isn't interesting, the missions are frustrating, the graphics are extremely mediocre and the soundtrack's boring. There are a lot of customization options, yes... but if that's the only good thing about your game, it becomes rather difficult to recommend it.- PlaySense
