    Far Cry 5 is hands down the best yet for the series, and may be the best Ubisoft title ever.

    Far Cry 5 is the best Far Cry to date. The great additions and refinements made to the franchise are fantastic. Along with the inclusion of Far Cry Arcade, which extends your play time, Far Cry 5 is the ultimate open-world first person shooter.

    I've always enjoyed playing Far Cry games, but Far Cry 5 is probably my favorite. It has a few flaws and some missed opportunities, but overall it takes the Far Cry formula that's worked in the past and improves upon it. If you've never really enjoyed Far Cry games in the past, then those improvements may not be enough to change your mind about the game. However, anyone who's a Far Cry fan, or anyone who has yet to experience a Far Cry game will probably really enjoy their time in Montana.

    Far Cry 5 is a massive game with tons of content and Far Cry Arcade has the potential to keep the game fresh and exciting for months to come. In the end, Far Cry 5 didn't make the most out of its rural setting and didn't innovate much on the typical Far Cry gameplay formula although it still ranks as one of the best games in the series.

    Off the beaten track, Far Cry 5 is strongly reminiscent of its predecessors. If you have no problem with ticking off small tasks in an Open World shooter, you can blow off steam with sufficient weapons, tools and vehicles. But much more was expected from the now fifth Far Cry installment.

    STORY: very weak, they obviously tried to recapture FC3 and FC4 villains but they failed.
    You - your character, is again, boring and uninteresting silent protagonist. For Far Cry it's fine, since I know as a fan, that's OK for other fans too, but they REALLY did not invent anything new here. It's too safe, no crazy missions, no crazy subplot or moments, very uninspiring story that does not show you anything impactful. Side characters are OK, Nick is probably the best as the extra missions with him are quite fun.
    Critics are giving too high score. Paid by Ubisoft, I assume.

    MECHANICS: It's a solid build up and mix of FC4 and Primal. I really like the mechanics. Game looks great on PS4 but no 60fps is just not acceptable and I will repeat this as many times as needed. We have xbox one x and ps4 pro capable of 4K but we can't do 60 even at 720p? cmon.
    Overall mechanics are good, apart from kidnaping part. I am glad to see no more XP bar!
    P.S Physics are not great though, even Far Cry 2 had better engine

    REPLAYABILITY: very small. They changed the way you do missions and side missions, some of which are long, but most are short. By playing 3-4 h a day, you can finish everything in 7-10 days.
    Despite it being open world - there is little to find and explore. Obviously no cities. Only 1 town and very small. No fortresses

    ARCADE MODE and MP: amazing potential, but at current state? It's a f-ing joke. MP maps are one of the worst. People recreate Nuketown from Call of Duty and maps from other games and they play nothing but that! You hardly can match up to play other maps, there is no playlist. I really hope they update it to fix all of these. In this current state, it's an unfinished, rushed thing.

    TLDR: game is fun, expected better story.

    - Same old recipes from FC 3 and 4, with even less surprises and exotic locations than before.

    - Dumbest AI ever seen (friendlies and enemies), the dog has the best AI in the entire game.
    - Static environment , vegetation, sky, no dynamical weather effects (all were already present in FC2)
    - Incoherent and unrealistic storyline.
    + good graphics
    + Some new vehicles and weapons

    Overall, it looks more like an unknown/lambda OpenWorld/Coop game with pretty meh features.

    Not recomended, i havent finnished because i dont want to. Good graphics tho dosent make a game better, same as always with ubisoft i wish they learn.
