Thanks to credible characters the story this game tells remains interesting. The puzzles are challenging and the graphical style is very pleasant to look at. The game does suffer from overly long load times and the lack of lip-sync detracts from the overall experience. There are some plot holes in the story as well, which is a shame but nevertheless The Council is a fine game.- PlaySense

Ace Combat 7 is a return to form for the franchise. The main campaign is varied and provides a lot of entertainment even if the story is a little stale. Visually this game will blow you away and if you also own a VR headset you’re in for an absolute treat. Multiplayer is a bit boring and the archaic checkpoint mechanism feels like it’s a decade old but overall, Ace combat 7 hits it right out of the park. Highly recommended.- PlaySense

If you have a soft spot for the Space Hulk board game, this title is a no-brainer. If you're new to the Space Hulk franchise it might seem that this game is extremely slow and boring and very difficult to boot. The singleplayer experience is extremely varied thanks to a large amount of available tracks and the multiplayer modes offers endless fun for all. Being a virtual hunter probably requires just as much patience as hunting animals in real life because the pacing in this game is slow. Call of the Wild caters to a very specific audience but that doesn't make the game less fun. Hunting different types of animals in varied and large environments makes this game a treat. Call of Cthulhu is the most Lovecraftian experience Lovecraft himself never conjured up, with a storyline filled to the brim with the elements that made the Cthulhu mythos so persistent over the years. This new LEGO game is mostly very atmospheric thanks to the setting, the characters and the story. Creating your own character is a great feature but apart from that, LEGO DC Super-Villains is still built on the archaic LEGO-game template. A fine game for all ages that excels in the presence of awesomely detailed physical ships. Within the toy-to-life genre this comes as a great surprise that really delivers on the fun factor. The difficulty is a little bit unbalanced unfortunately which is somewhat inconvenient, considering the audience this game caters to. The gameplay tends to be repetitive by nature but on the flipside there is an enormous galaxy for you to explore in which there is plenty to see and do. The latest iteration of Pro Evo mostly has subtle improvements and enhancements overall. Pacing is better. Players react more realistically. General gameplay is slightly improved. The way crowds react in realistically recreated stadiums immensely adds to the atmosphere. Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 is an excellent footie sim which doesn't stray from previous games and offers exactly what you'd expect. The commentary is still horrible unfortunately.- PlaySense

Marvel's Spider-Man for PS4 is a great way to experience the diverse and unique world of Spider-Man. The game looks amazing, it's well-written, funny and is absolute a pleasure to play. It is by far the best entry in the Spider-Man gaming franchise to date. This game has great depth and so many things to do, it will keep you occupied for a long while.- PlaySense

The artistic visual style make Death's Gambit stand out and the second part of the adventure really caught us by surprise. That, along with the awesome music and the crazy bosses you'll encounter make this game worth the price of admission. Unfortunately, we can't ignore the fact that combat isn't very deep or intelligent and the first part of the game is too boring which is a shame. Technical issues also spoil some of the fun.- PlaySense

Playing this shooter solo is considerably less fun than playing coop. That being said, the action is entertaining enough and the commentary fits the mayhem perfectly. The game also has longevity thanks to some extra modes which make for a complete and fun title. Lack of couch coop is incomprehensible though and there are some puzzles which are far too easy and some battles which are too long-winded.- PlaySense

A good strategy game that plays really well and offers plenty of challenge. You end up feeling like an actual spy while playing this game and that is a big compliment to the developers. Sadly though, there are a couple of difficulty spikes throughout which causes some frustration.- PlaySense

A remake of a pretty dated game which turns out very well. The story remains fantastic, especially with the addition of some new scenes. The mini games never fail to be funny either. This remake is a prime example of how to do a remake and Yakuza fans and newcomers alike can blindly purchase this game.- PlaySense

Part 2 trumps the original in every way. Production values are high, the multiplayer is fun, gameplay is very intense and we could go on about its qualities. Everything you'd expect from a sequel is here and we heartily recommend you pick this up. Especially if you played and loved part 1.- PlaySense

Codemasters expanded last year on the 2016 base game and they're doing the same thing for the 2018 iteration. F1 2018 is the best Formula 1 game to date since there is more depth than ever, more classic cars to use and many more features. If you're a fan of the sport, you're in for a good time yet at the same time the penalty system still is as inconsistent as it ever was and the AI can pull some weird stunts from time to time.- PlaySense

A fun point & click adventure that mainly stands out due to its visual style, it's humor, a great story and some good puzzles. You'd think that this would make for a classic game in its genre but unfortunately there is too little freedom in accomplishing the in-game goals. Technical hiccups interrupt the game on occasion, which is too bad.- PlaySense

Another step forward, even if it isn't exactly a big one. Real Player Motion and a couple of other subtle improvements ultimately outweigh the dragging Longshot mode and some strange happenings on and off the pitch.- PlaySense

The first episode of the supposed final season of Telltale's The Walking Dead is a classic slow burn, with well-developed characters and a real shocker of an ending. Telltale experiments with giving the player a bit more input and though this is nice conceptually, it unfortunately also leads to a lot of trial-and-error. Don't let that stop you though; there's a lot of promise here.- PlaySense

An interesting adventure in the hypothetical year 2048, though it lacks replay value and smooth controls. Still, a great story, excellent voice acting and a unique graphical style make this game very much worth your time.- PlaySense

If not for the long waiting times - a remnant of the freemium model the game was initially based on - this would've been a fun experience. Besides that, the decorating of your own house is a fine element of the gameplay.- PlaySense

A captivating story fueled by memorable characters which benefits from the documentary-like narration. A shame that animations are relatively stiff and some scenes feel rushed because the game would have been better if these minor issues had been addressed. Overall, a very interesting title worthy of your attention.- PlaySense

The third part of The Banner Saga feels more like a third chapter as opposed to an entirely new game. Nevertheless, the game is atmospheric, captivating and overall a lot of fun to play. Fans will enjoy themselves with this final part of The Banner Saga trilogy. Innovative features are lacking however, which is something you should be aware of if you've enjoyed previous iterations.- PlaySense

Putting together your own guns will provide you with hours of fun. After that you'll test your mettle against all sorts of alien scum in randomly generated levels which provides enough variety to last you quite a while. Overall, Mothergunship is a fine shooter with a couple of minor niggles; lack of force-feedback, cluttered menu's and the interruption of your flow when you need to recharge your weapon to mention a few.- PlaySense

After the hilarious and hectic insanity that was part 1, its sequel is even grander, more complete and provides even more entertainment. Gameplay remains as chaotic as ever but the additional amount of content makes sure it stays fresh for quite a while. Playing with some friends online is definitely the preferred way of playing Overcooked 2 but even when you're playing solo this game is still a blast.- PlaySense

A point & click adventure in the vein of the old Lucasarts games which makes clever use of game and movie references. And even though some puzzles are pretty far-fetched, they provide plenty of entertainment. The humor wasn't exactly our cup of tea but all in all, you can't go very wrong with The Wardrobe if you're into this type of game.- PlaySense

Conceptually and story-wise Hello Neighbor had some real potential. Unfortunately, it falls flat on its face in all other categories we can think of. Technically very messy, graphically not particularly appealing, AI that is completely unpredictable, puzzles that don't make any sense, and poor level design. The result is an extremely frustrating title that isn't worth your time or money.- PlaySense

While the story is run-of-the-mill sci-fi tropes, the execution is fantastic. Great atmosphere, impeccable tracking, thrilling suspense and fantastic controls add up to one must-buy title for you PlayStation VR set if you can stomach the survival horror genre set in space. The roguelike element that causes the ship's layout to change constantly is a welcome addition and keeps the game feeling fresh. A special mention must go to the highly original and entertaining multiplayer. Highly recommended.- PlaySense

A wonderful atmosphere and some gorgeous environments don't hide the sad fact that The Mooseman is an extremely short experience. That is the one major complaint we have because the gameplay, the puzzles and the story will envelop you entirely whilst you enjoy every minute of it. Short but sweet.- PlaySense
