Dontnod once again delivers the goods, with a well-paced, thoroughly intriguing narrative. In the end, the result is perhaps a bit too repetitive to be truly great, and the same can be said about the game's animations. If you're into the story, though, you shouldn't be too bothered about this.

A spiritual successor to the excellent Until Dawn, Man of Medan is the promising first entry in a brand new series of interactive horror films. Once again, there are plenty of scares to be experienced and 'life or death' choices to be made, though technically the game just doesn't run smooth enough to be as good as the developer's magnum opus.

It's not interactive enough to work as a game, though it's perhaps a bit too interactive to count as a movie. The choices you're presented with may be interesting on paper, but in practice they mostly just remove all tension from what should and could've been a fine thriller.

Coop is a lot of fun and the game surprised us continuously with its wide variety of environments. Lots of content and solid gameplay make for a very competent title. Metro: Exodus is a post-apocalyptic masterpiece, more than worth your money and time. It's great on every level, from its beautiful graphics and expert audio design to its intriguing characters and absorbing world. Shame the story ends kind of abruptly though... But hey, you can't have everything. Must play.

An original puzzle game that creatively plays with dimensions while telling a good story at the same time. The setting is original, the voice acting is excellent and the puzzles are creatively designed. The game only lasts for about two hours though and the controls feel a bit nervous for some reason. You'll regularly and unwillingly drop items often too which is frustrating and hampers the overall pacing of the game.

Disney's magic returns in the latest iteration of Kingdom Hearts, an adventure that is well worth your time. The story is interesting enough. Graphics are beautifully realized and the special attacks are fantastic. At the same time the audio feels like it's a bit out of sync and the gameplay feels like a throwback to previous Kingdom Hearts games. If you're a fan of the franchise however, you'll love every minute.

Drowning tells a deeply personal story about depression. There are multiple endings for you to unlock and there are plenty of beautiful environments to admire accompanied by fantastic music. The major drawback is that Drowning -like many games in the walking simulator genre- is completely devoid of any other interaction with the world around you besides walking.

Futuregrind is a game that works really well because of its great controls, it's a steep challenge and it's overall a nice game. The variation in level goals is somewhat lacking and this game isn't really meant for long gaming sessions since you'll repeatedly have to try many of the same sections over and over. But, Futuregrind is the ideal companion for short bursts of gaming sessions.

A fun title which guarantees 8+ hours of entertainment for PlayStation VR owners. The sense of scale is great and the graphics are dark yet colorful and overall the world around you feels great. The game relies heavily on gesture control for even the most mundane actions which does become stale rather quickly and the story is nothing to write home about either. That being said, The Mage's Tale absolutely impressed us with good action and puzzle sequences. Be warned though; you will need to own motion controllers since the DualShock controller is not supported.

It's pretty clear where this game gets its inspiration from and with its intense gameplay, beautiful graphical effects and a steep learning curve this is a solid title. Shame that all bosses are nearly identical and that some screen tearing is present. Besides that, If you loved Hotline Miami, this is definitely a must play.

This game is brimming with potential which is never fully realized. Planet RIX-13 disappoints because it is a short game without a lot of challenge and the story never really takes off. The low price tag makes up for some of its shortcomings but in no way is this a must play. There's plenty of better games to spend your time and money on right now.

This episode is a bit slower than the last one but that does give you the opportunity to get to know the characters even better. The (free) prologue to this season is integrated nicely and the voice-acting is once again excellent. Definitely worth it in other words but some choices are forced upon you and we can't get around the ending where some strange choices are made by an adult character, which makes this episode lose a bit of its credibility.

The world is beautiful and mysterious and the great music definitely contributes to this nice setting but the game itself somewhat disappoints. There's plenty of technical issues, the letterboxing format blocks your view and the game feels segmented due to being split up into levels. You don't always know where you're going either. A missed opportunity.

In a genre that is well populated with similar titles, Scintillatron 4069 differentiates itself by offering specific goals and challenges which makes the game addictive and refreshing. Using powerups is extremely annoying though since they can seriously mess up the goals you're trying to accomplish. This combination makes for a somewhat schizophrenic experience. But, all in all a solid arcade shooter which can entertain you for a fair amount of time.

This episode continues the trend of being more interactive and the ability to react a bit more proactively. That's a good thing just like the increased amount of references to previous seasons and to the comics. Audiovisually it's in a fine shape and overall this is a fantastic episode, though not technically perfect.

Resident Evil 2 is a home run. There's just no other way to put it. By taking the heart and spirit of the 1998 original and combining it with the gameplay thrills of Resident Evil 4, Capcom has managed to outdo itself and in the process: make zombies scary once more. An early contender for Game of the Year.

A weird game in terms of concept but a good one nonetheless. If you grew up in the’90’s, there is a ton of references to that era. The length of the game is outstanding as well which makes for great value for money. The controls aren’t perfect all the time though and the music tracks can get a little bit repetitive but don’t let that stop you from purchasing what is a very original and fun game.

An excellent coop game that mostly excels in coop only because the single player experience forces you to fall back on less than helpful AI. The engine overall is outdated a bit but the progression system, the challenging opponents and the great gameplay provide plenty of entertainment value. Recommended.

Graphically this remaster definitely holds up to contemporary games and the option to choose between English or Japanese language is very welcome. The story is good and you’ll be entertained for days but be aware that the controls are pretty sluggish which will cause some frustration.

If you’re into this type of game, EDF 5 is the absolute pinnacle of the franchise thanks to its absurd humour, an excellent online multiplayer, an insane amount of content and the overall madness of never ending onscreen chaos. It is a niche game however and many people won’t understand what the fuss is about. Poor graphics, poor physics, the eternal grind for better gear and old school gameplay are an acquired taste in the case of EDF 5. Tread with caution.
