   The amount of misinformation and sh*tstorm ignorance of teenagers here is unbelievable. You can complain about the grind in game, maybe. (which is fixed now..). But making stuff up about microtransactions in this game really pisses me off. There is exactly ONE currency that you COULD buy for real money, but you would NEVER need to, because you can also get this currency in game for just playing the game. You also do NOT need this currency for ANYTHING other than FIVE random items you COULD buy which refresh like every 24 hours. ALL other currencys in the game are just INGAME currencies and in NO WAY do you need to pay real money for it at any point!!! This game has actually no actual microtransactions at all! And if you do not like to grind in a game for stuff like skins etc. that is one point. But Injustice 2 was the same and people did not downvote it to hell, why is that? It was exactly the same as MK11 is... the SAME! Expect that the TOWERS were too hard in MK11 to beat. Which is now fixed! But you teenage sh*tstorm haters come here and downvote an otherwise really really great game for made up reasons? Because you read some morons on twitter or reddit talking lies about how heavy this game is on microtransactions, even tho it is NOT?! PLAY the game on your own BEFORE you hop on the internet and zero rate something you have NO clue about but just want to be part of a hateful sh*tstorm because your teenage brain can not handle to think for itself yet... you are just a lemming of ignorant, misinformed, half knowledged people fueled with hatred.    Netherrealms always knows the way of making a perfect fighting game with high levels of details and gameplay. Let's start with the story. TheNetherrealms always knows the way of making a perfect fighting game with high levels of details and gameplay. Let's start with the story. The way of telling the story is just like Injustice 2 so it's cinematic and interesting but after some hours it will be repetitious. Visual effects and graphics are at the highest level but there are not huge distances between MK X & MK11. The tutorial part is complete and it will show you every part of the game. There are a lot of differences between MK X & 11. The most important one is Fatal Blow . In MK X there was X-RAY. If the opponent block it, there won't be any chances to use it again and it was just a stupid idea. But now we have Fatal Blow that is the completed and enhanced form of the X-Ray. You can use fatal blow just one time in the whole game but it can change the result of the game. When the opponent blocks the Fatal Blow there is sth like cooldown and after some seconds the game will give you another chance to perform it but it might be a bit late. The next big enhancement of the game is blood designs. Now blood is more realistic.Some characters are lovely (in my idea Noob Saibot, Skarlet, and Erron Black are better than the others) but some of them are just like a patch. There won't be any problems if we remove them from the game. Personalization is perfect. You can completely customize your favorite character however you want. But the story is short and you can finish it in 6 to 7 hours. Some basic characters like Smoke aren't in the game. Variety of environment is perfect Now we can see more details. Both the single player and the multiplayer are interesting and they will entertain you for many days or actually for some months. And of course servers are good and players can face each other in the shortest time.
   But it's such a crazy idea to pay a lot to buy skins or some cosmetic items in addition to pay 60 dollars. We expect Netherrealms make an interesting game and finally, after 4 years we saw what we had to see.… Expand

   The game itself is great. Story is good and fun, the gameplay is smooth and every character is cool, the graphics are amazing, but there is aThe game itself is great. Story is good and fun, the gameplay is smooth and every character is cool, the graphics are amazing, but there is a big "BUT" and thats the grinding for things.
   Skins, Gear, Artwork, Taunts, Intros, Outros, Fatalities, Brutalities etc are all locked mostly.
   Now the cosmetic stuff is not necessary to enjoy the game, but the latter two are essential of any MK game. And if you have to unlock 1 of 2 fatalities, and 4 of 5 Brutalities, then thats bad. But if its locked so unfairly that its impossible to get, then its frustrating and hindering enjoyment of the game.
   Let me give you an example with unfair. Lets say you have to defeat Raiden for a cool Item you want and another Fatality for your fav character (its randomized but for the sake of this review lets assume its exactly for the character you want). You have to defeat Raiden twice to get that stuff. But these are his attributes:
   -6 times more life than you
   -makes more damage than you
   -calls a tag team partner which makes quick immediate damage to you
   -its raining acid in the arena which damages you constantly and is unavoidable
   -if you stand near Raiden for more than a second you get electrocuted and paralyzed
   
   Its impossible to beat him, and therefore to get the gear you want or even enjoy the MK essential things like fatalities to the fullest. Its a shame, and frustrating, obviously there to make you spend more money on the game you already paid a lot for. If it would be only cosmetics ok whatever, but the other stuff is important.
   Sorry for the long review but hope its understandable what is wrong with this otherwise amazing game.… Expand
