Trüberbrook is a very impressive mystery adventure game that will leave players wanting to experience more of Hans Tannhauser and the charming town of Trüberbrook. The unique, hand made graphics are one of the biggest, and most impressive features of the game and will likely leave you wanting to see more games made in the same style.

A fantastic sci-fi adventure game from Germany. Very good and definitely worth playing.

The story of Trüberbrook has an intriguing concept. However, it is resolved too quickly and lacks an impactful revelation that it was seemingly building to. Nevertheless, the voice acting and visuals alone have left me so impressed they eventually became the reasons I continued through the adventure.

Not as inventive as Wes Anderson’s films, as bizarre as Twin Peaks, nor as quirky as Double Fine, Trüberbrook is merely a casual, occasionally surprising, but always gorgeous adventure. [Issue#161, p.90]

A traditional point & click adventure that does little to advance the genre but it does provide you with plenty of entertainment. The graphics are very pretty and the user interface is well thought out. Collectables aren't a chore like in many other games. The price is pretty steep and the humor is a love it or hate it type of deal. A decent game but nothing more.

Also: WHAT'S WITH THE CONSTANT LOADING?
We play HUGE games with vast detailed maps and you get ZERO loading times, and on this one, the game has a black loading screen for 5 seconds (on a PS5!) on EVERY 2D screen that literally has nothing to load. Just a sprite walking and clicking on info. How the h*ll did they manage this?

I mean at some point, I looked up on Youtube for a riddle that wasn't anything difficult, but I just had no motivation to think myself cause the game had already made me tired. Then, I ended up, just watching it on fast-forward on Youtube.
I was really sad cause I LOVE and support Indie games, some of my best gaming experiences were indie games, like Hue, Oxenfree, and lots of others.
I also grew up with Secret Of The Monkey Island and THAT era of point-and-click adventures.
Even the ending scenes were completely anti-climatic, I was like PLS GOD MAKE IT END.
And if it wasnt for the whole slow pace, the endless repetitions of dialogues etc, the game would last 1-2 hours.

I really hope the guys continue and make a game a bit more fun and flawless for people to enjoy the story and not torture them.
