    This game is fun to play with four people. However, you need a friend. You can't join random people online. It's a shame, but the gameplay itself is fun.

    RiftStar Raiders is a solid, challenging roguelike twin stick shooter, with ten complex missions, plenty of different enemies to fight and a nice upgrade system.

    If RiftStar Raiders had a local multiplayer component, more accessible online matchmaking, and well-scaled difficulty then it would be a fantastic twin-stick space shooter. However, it suffers drastically from these shortcomings so download it with caution.

    When you’re used to all of that and know what to expect from each mission, Riftstar Raiders becomes an absolute blast to play. It just might take you a bit of time to get there.

    I found this game challenging enough upon first starting, that I replayed the first level many times to figure out how to play and to collectI found this game challenging enough upon first starting, that I replayed the first level many times to figure out how to play and to collect the necessary funding to upgrade my guns. When I went to upgrade my second gun, the game crashed during the save, and I lost ALL my progress. It was like I hadn't played at all. I reported the crash via Sony when prompted to do so. I was not going to try again until after a patch came out, so I wouldn't lose all my progress again. There has been no such patch and so now I have a game I have wasted my money paying the full, debut, price on that I am afraid to even play for fear I'll lose my progress again, wasting all my investment in gameplay. I can't believe any reputable developer wouldn't maintain a backup of the game saves to prevent this exact sort of scenario from happening.… Expand
