Hacker's Memory follows the same pattern that the previous title had but at the same time going one step beyond. A great combat system, an interesting story and characters and mostly the great soundtrack, with a few new themes added, and also a better pace on completing side missions complete an amazing title in this franchise.

Although Digimon: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory is a blast to play and gives gamers a lot to do, it's essentially just more of the same.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker’s Memory is a worthy successor. It is not a jaw-dropping, life-changing piece, but it is an enjoyable experience especially for a Digimon fan. The story is engaging from the first minute of gameplay and I personally found it difficult to turn the game off to go to bed. Overall, Hacker’s Memory is addicting and extremely satisfying, and here’s to hoping for a similar title in the near future.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory may not be a true sequel to the 2016 original, but it’s a better version of a familiar experience. The visuals don’t shine as brightly on PS4 and players will have to wander through a lot of recycled content before encountering much new. While it would have been nice to have new areas, Hacker’s Memory is carried by its profoundly personal story, engrossing combat and progression mechanics, and various quality of life improvements. While newcomers may find the experience a little confusing, returning players will appreciate meeting up with returning characters and experiencing the enhancements implemented to improve the experience. Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory may not be a true sequel, but the quality put into the story, combat and progression make it a worthy successor.

Despite some of the shortcomings I found in the narrative and its inability to simply impress when it came to the conclusion of most cases, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker’s Memory manages to hold its weight. It's saying something when compared to other RPGs in the fighting monster team genre. The true stars of the show are the digimon, as they indeed should be, and there’s enough zaniness in the rest of the game to keep you entertained throughout its long running time. There’s room for improvement, though, and should the developers choose to keep this side of Digimon series going, we could see something truly amazing in the future. As it stands now, Hacker’s Memory is not a bad way to hang out with some of my new favorite digital friends.

It feels so much like the original that even its few new additions like new Digimon and Dominion Battles start to slowly but surely feel less impactful over time. All the same charm, quirks, and missteps of the original game are captured all over again in Hacker’s Memory but for a full $59.99 price tag it just feels like this sequel could have, and should have, brought more to the table.

A confusing product. It’s too complex and longwinded for kids, but too easy, repetitive, and derivative for most adults. The game was made with fans of the original Cyber Sleuth in mind, but will frustrate those same fans with its rampant rehashing. Hardcore Digimon devotes may find something to enjoy here, but most will want to forget Hacker's Memory.

I was reallyI have not watched Digimon or even observed the series in a long while. That being said, I picked this up to see how it was. I was really surprised at the new Digimon being added, but even more to see all the ones from my childhood was included. I can also appreciate the lines being all over the place, however, I do believe it messes with the lore of the franchise. The fact about ten in training levels can get you about the entire field guide or at a great chunk of it. It seems to not know if it wants to have dating sim elements, by teasing the development of different relationships. The story is a really weird string of somewhat random events at times, with some somewhat cool side quests. One thing I still find extremely inconsistent is the ending, not just inconsistent with the game, but the entirety of Digimon lore. I find the collecting of Digimon to be the biggest draw. That is fun, the biggest drawback is the requirements to get what you might want, might not be worth it, as you might find that what it can evolve to, might be better than what you want it to evolve to. Some things are interesting to try. The adventure may be quite the ride, it can be frustrating, but that is the challenge. Its fun, and I enjoyed it. Expand

I'd love to rank this game higher but there are way too many flaws.
Visually all of the dungeons are extremely repetitive and the real world areas you can explore are static, pixellated and bland.
The mission structure is poorly thought out. Sometimes you have to go to a place called the digilab to talk to a person who tells you to go to an area, then you talk to someone there, then you travel to another area and sign into your computer so you can accept a mission from that person, then you travel back to that area to meet that person again... it feels like a waste of time.
The story and characters are ok but kind of generic and most of the key moments are predictable. The protagonist is particularly bland. There are also a couple of BS boss fights in the game too.

What the game does really well is the digivolution system. There are a lot of digimon, primarily taken from the first three seasons. You can create a dream team and unlike pokemon you don't need to worry too much about having a balanced team. You can kind of just pick your favorites and level them up.
The requirements for digivolving are annoying and it can feel like the game is wasting your time though,
The combat system is pretty fun and the range of animations and special moves is very impressive.
Also, to its credit it can be a fun game to just relax with and grind while you watch some tv. With a lot of jrpgs I get burnt out and don't finish them but this one kept me hooked for about 52 hours.
If you can get it on sale for like 10 to 20 bucks and you're in the mood for a digimon turn based rpg then definitely go right ahead. It's not worth 60 bucks by a long stretch but if you can get it cheap it's pretty fun.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Everywhere I looked, cryptocurrency was trending, and I saw a lot of enthusiasm and news about it online. I was unaware of the manner in which to do it, but quite a number of others were getting into it and earning money while reclining in their homes. I approached a group online, and after spending some time with them, I received assistance in making an investment. I began with the package and eventually upgraded to the mega scheme, but I was unaware that the company was a rip-off and that all the reviews I had read were counterfeit until one of the group's members revealed the sad truth on the platform, after which she was promptly kicked off. I discovered her name using a name search, and when I asked for proof, she proudly demonstrated how she used Spyware Cyber to retrieve money she had previously lost. Just to be sure, I tried to withdraw, but I was prevented from doing so. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, so I immediately supplied all transaction proofs to Spyware Cyber through email for verification before my recovery exercise was started, and successfully recovered funds were added to my wallet in a day. Thanks to Spyware Cyber I have discovered that I should avoid online money-making schemes.
