Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is a fantastic game. Let me repeat that: It’s a fantastic game. The lingering control issues (and even these are minimized) and some minor pacing issues as a result of the two-protagonist approach can’t taint this gargantuan project.

A triumphant return to form for a franchise, and presents a beautifully structured tale with heart and soul to spare.

The game's high production values were a bit diminished by the series' longstanding fallacies, such as random lag and instances of poor texturing, but London remains a gorgeous place to visit.

The Assassin's saga is starting to feel a bit tired when it comes to structure and gameplay, but Syndicate does pretty much everything that Unity tried to do better (well, except for the multiplayer, completely taken out of the game), and grabs the player's attention with great characters and finally a decent storyline. Also, the virtual London is splendid, but you expected that, right?

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate gets more right than it gets wrong, but in trying to amend some of the sins of the series, it exacerbates the issues instead of offering a cure. Despite that rather lengthy list of cons at the bottom of my review, one thing’s for sure: Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is still a hell of a lot of fun.

Syndicate is a massive shame. Ubisoft’s yearly development cycle is really beginning to leave its mark on the series. Assassin’s Creed has been good. It is a series that can be great, but unfortunately Syndicate is a misstep. For a series concerned with making its players historical tourists, it is ironic that it is so stuck in the past.

The characters are well written, familiar gameplay mechanics such as the whistling and being able to pick up bodies is back, the story has clever links to the story of the other AC games, the modern day is better and actually goes somewhere (albeit the ending is absolute wank) and the side missions are implemented well into the goal of the main story. Playing in a historically accurate London in the early 19th century is great.
Much more advanced than BF. Identifying the enemy as thugs and killing for improvement of life and liberty makes this game seem different and better. The environments are great! Death combos amazingly gruesome, and when children run away screaming at the brutality it is both shocking and as pleasing to feel the harsh reality that they faced.

Currently I have only seen bugs in a cut scene where players don't show up, and a crowd calling for help when a dead NPC wasn't on the ground. Since this only came out a little while ago I forgive them.

The game to me is the 2nd best in the franchise behind AC2...I love the characters, the side missions especially the Music Boxes hunt which is my favorite thing to do and adds such a great puzzle element, fighting seems repetitive at the beginning but as you level up you get different animations. I love everything about this game and its beautiful looking to top it all off! Recommended buy for anyone who likes a good video game Expand

Syndicate seemed to appeal to meAfter I played through The Ezio Collection, I decided to embark on playthrough of the Assassin's Creed games. Syndicate seemed to appeal to me the most - and it didn't disappoint me. The twins, Evie and Jacob, are likeable characters, and I enjoyed their different styles and approaches, with Evie being stealthy, while Jacob being more of a brawler. London was large and sprawling, and I enjoyed exploring it; there was so much to do outside of the main story. Overall, I had a lot of fun with Syndicate, and I can't wait to play the others, especially Odyssey and Origins. Expand

Graphics and sounds are still the same. However, at the exit there were less bugs than the previous. I like the personality except Jacob. I feel he says sentences without sense. They need to improve the controls and put more objects to do parkour. Without parkour it's not a AC game. Putting activities is pretty nice but when you spend hours doing the same activities maybe it could be a little bit boring. In conclusion, it's a good game but there is another AC game set in in other country. Expand

I'm not a big fan of the series, I do mostly enjoy Brotherhood and have very found memories of a much younger me playing it and the original back when they first released. Now where am I now with this game? It's pretty good. Not great, but with a solid visual and sound design for any average release these days. It's fun, and that's all you really can say about it. It's a pretty alright open world game, with fun things to do and an actual pretty decent story. I had fun with this game, and I guess that's all there really is to say about it. Expand

Typical repetitive Ubisoft crap. Amazingly cheap mission design and story. Avoid at all cost!
