    Holy Ninja! This looks absolutely amazing! Cyberconnect2 basically took everything good about the series, and made it bigger, funnier and ridiculously more spectacular. It truly is a foolishly over the top game, and one that was obviously inspired by Asura’s Wrath, but it works wonders. Definitely the best chapter in the series. It really blows the anime out of the water, and is a must for fans of the manga. As for the netcode... it’s still a bit meh.

    I like the intensity of the combat, the visual design in the game and its faithfullness to Narutos story and universe, but it doesn’t hold my interest for more than an hour at a time.

    Game looks gorgeous. Admittedly I ought it looked exactly the same as the last gen from all the footage. Had seen. But when finally playing itGame looks gorgeous. But when finally playing it on my own HD tv, I can honestly say that the graphical improvement is minimal, yet noticeable.

    The trademark boss battles return in story mode, which brilliantly retells and captures the climax story of the fourth great ninja war. This is great because for anime fans who have had enough of filler, this game is a must play.

    Also with regards to combat this time around, types are now gone. Which means no more having to choose awakening, drive or ultimate type before a match, you have access to a characters entire repertoire. The disgraceful counter system that was in storm revolution has also been adjusted, now in only knocks away your opponent instead of stunning them. The new leader switching is great fun and adds new dynamics to gameplay and of course the number of new secret techniques and combination secret techniques are just incredible. They are visual spectacles of beauty.

    There's so much more to talk about, but what I've just mentioned is what I feel is most important. Online play is pretty much the same as it's always been, so I won't really go into that, few changes here and there but nothing huge. This is a must buy for all Naruto fans.    … Expand

    As much as I love this series i have to admit it takes 2 steps backs with every step forward. The removal of instant awakening for characterAs much as I love this series i have to admit it takes 2 steps backs with every step forward. The removal of instant awakening for character switching is inherently a fair trade, it also eliminated support only characters which was definitely a loss. Graphics for this game is phenomenal as always. CC2 always prevails in that light however they're infamous lack of online support once again returns as waiting minutes for a singular match in a very slow searching system becomes very annoying to the point where some times I'd only have 5 matches in 1 hour. On the plus hand tho the story is absolutely phenomenal and while skipping out on minor details from the original it properly conveys the main tale in an amazing fashion, great graphics especially for Qte segments and large scale multi stage boss battles. Overall if you enjoy naruto this is probably the best game you could buy and even if you've never seen the show you can enjoy the story and fun combat (After all I got into anime as a whole from storm 2). Great game with some bad flaws for the storm series as a whole but an unbiased look would give it about an 8… Expand
