We knew the Black Eyed Peas had the knack to excite dance floors, but now that they are invited in your living room, they become perfect home entertainers. The Black Eyed Peas Experience is a success, thanks to its positioning between the very casual Just Dance 3 and the requiring Dance Central 2. With a gratifying and fun gameplay, this Ubisoft title developped by the japanese iNiS nails it with a rich playlist, festive atmosphere and polished production.

This third episode is probably the best so far, it offers new answers to the story but keeps it mysterious enough... We can't wait for the "season finale".

Pokémon Ranger: Tracks of Light is an excellent alternative to the main series, and will probably make up for the wait until Black & White arrives. Pretty, well paced, Tracks of Light is a nice adventure, perfect for children, far from the cheap spin-off.

Into the Breach is an excellent tactical game. It feels like a game of chess with robots and aliens, and it offers very deep gameplay behind its simplistic looks.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a satisfying conclusion to the two previous games. It’s a game you devour like an exciting novel, you constantly want to come back, have more. Carried by a mature and captivating scenario, an artistic direction super effective and a refined and complex combat system, the license seems to have finally found its winning formula.

Lords of the Fallen is not without its faults, and sometimes confuses difficulty, vicious level design and total frustration. The game presents itself as a very solid soulslike that, while borrowing heavily from its models, still has its own identity. Playing in two parallel universes is an excellent idea, and technically, it's quite impressive, thanks in particular to the Unreal Engine 5. The art direction is not to be outdone, with superb panoramas, sometimes horrific, but always successful. It's a pity that this second infernal world is also one of the game's sources of frustration. An ill-adjusted difficulty peak, a level design that's sometimes too severe and a problem with the distribution of checkpoints mean that the game often gets on our nerves. But if you're looking for a difficult game that's beautiful to cry over, and which relies on truly fluid and enjoyable gameplay, Lords of the Fallen could well be just what you're looking for.

The Signal is, simply put, another episode in Alan Wake's nightmare. This direct follow-up to the story of the main game doesn't answer all the questions one might have, but opens up another chapter for the writer, and also introduces some new situations - a variety we can only welcome. It's clearly destined to those who finished the main game first, and since it's free for all who bought the game, it would be a shame not to play it!

Hohokum can be considered as a video game or interactive art, depending on the way we see the experience of playing. But developing such an experimental approach surely requires genuine creativity, that is expressed with an elegant and misleading simplicity through this singular journey.

There's a lot of revelations in this episode of Cognition. I've been caught off guard and enticed right up until the end of it. It's enough to overlook the still weak production values, and the easy gameplay. Can't wait for the conclusion of this story!

This fourth episode of Life is Strange 2 throws a lot of punches. And, again, as it is perfectly written and performed, it's a successful way to continue the story of Sean and Daniel, and wait for the end, coming in December.

Ace Combat changes its course slightly in order to deliver a more visceral, thrilling and cinematic experience, and it's for the better. One gets the new systems quickly, but it doesn't mean there aren't subtleties in it. In terms of visual, it's superb, and online play provides great fun in various ways.

Guilty Gear Strive is a great fighting game, visually stunning and incredibly satisfying to play, but the lack of content can be painful.

Cronos: The New Dawn cements Bloober Team's status as masters of horror. Following the highly acclaimed Silent Hill 2 Remake, the studio has clearly gained confidence, offering us a fresh take on survival horror with this new release.

World of Warships is unfortunately a very good game. It is balanced and offers a varied and strategically interesting experience. It's unfortunate, because with its mercantile elements it will empty your wallet as quick as a shipwreck. It is up to the player and his conscience to make the difference. If you have friends with whom to play and organize in cooperative plays, it's even worse. Anyway, it's like the dealer ... The first dose is free, so what's the problem in trying ?

Recent remastered games seemed a bit lazy. 4A Games doesn't mess around with this excellent compilation of their two FPS that keep their own identity and look - especially Metro 2033 - quite great visually. Even with a few flaws that were already known, they are definitely worth playing.

Tales Of Graces F is like previous Tales of Games, it has a theme. This time it's "to seek the strength required to protect", with the story of a kid who will try to do everything he can to absolve his past mistakes, and become strong enough to protect those he loves. It's super classic and simple, and that's why it works, especially for all those who like the way JRPG were done ten years ago.

Great atmosphere and presentation, beautiful visuals, well rebuilt interface, lots of game modes: FIFA 15 only changes a little from FIFA 14, but it's still a sharp football experience on consoles. The lack of really new ideas may possibly be well-accepted this year, but it probably won't be the same next year.

Despite the introduction of amiibo, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash has little new content. Camelot powered up the gameplay instead, an over-the-top approach embodied by the Mega Mushroom, although the Jumpshot stands as the biggest addition. And the series' legendary accessibility, depth and balance also improved through this great touch of design, which elevates "Jumpman Tennis" among the most convivial games.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is an excellent HD remake. If you want to discover or rediscover this universe this is undoubtedly the best opportunity to jump in.

Squids combines tactics and RPG in a game that has clearly been thought, and crafted with the touch platforms in mind. As a results, it works really well, and the overall quality of the production, visuals, sounds, and gameplay for such a little price make it a real teat for iOS gamers (and later Android ones).

Shadows of the Damned is a Road Movie made game. You watch and play it, enjoying the fun an politically incorrect humor, over-the-top atmosphere and appealing characters. Too bad some shortcomings like camera issues, a rather short campaign and some lack of exploration undermine its otherwise enjoyable formula.

These two additional years of development will have made an excellent motorcycle game. TT Isle of Man 2 is more successful on all fronts. It is above all the new content and the additional features of a real Tourist Trophy season that gives it a more ecumenical aspect. You no longer need to be an insider and a fierce competitor to the Isle of Man event. You can now discover this event gently and progress step by step with a real evolution curve. The fact remains that its demanding handling puts you to the test, so that you can enjoy all the pleasure of both finishing a race, but also being in good standing.

It's hard to criticize this SoulCalibur V. It's pretty, it's playable, accessible yet deep, will undoubtedly prove to be fun among friends both at home, or online. Too bad though, that the solo modes are so poor, and the roster of characters so far from being renewed as advertised. A good sequel, which could have been an unforgettable one with a better roster.

When it comes to being the indisputable owner of your Steam library, football fan, you know the answer.

Team Cherry's Hollow Knight avoids all the traps of the Kickstarter project: with its strong artistic direction, the game offers a deep adventure, but only to those strong enough to get through the cryptic beginning of the game. If you feel like trying your best, Hollow Knight, will deliver memorable memories, thanks to its wonderful environments and very intelligent soundtrack. Too bad many players will quit before seeing it.

Despite some online issues (mainly a lack of matchmaking's optimization and long waits between fights) and a too user-friendly X-Ray, this Mortal Kombat managed to deliver deep and rich gameplay. The whole experience is really worth a try. Especially the online features.

By mixing proven Action-RPG recipes with inspired puzzles and a slice of good-hearted life simulation, Ever Oasis already makes a refreshing cocktail. But there is more to discover under the sand of the desert than it seems, since the powerful stream of cooperation injected through the game's strata adds depth to this captivating adventure. Despite the inexplicable lack of multiplayer, such journey can be seen as a humanistic, ecological allegory from Koichi Ishii, and surely a benevolent experience, something rather rare these days.

Making its first foray in the world of video games, the french studio Douze Dixièmes gave birth to a great platformer, full of inventive puzzles and sweet narrative ideas. The art direction is flawless, especially the soundtrack - one of the most thrilling of the past months. In the end, this short but well-conducted journey surely will resonate in every gamer's heart.

One could have feared it would be a dull copy of Layton, but fear not: Rythm Thief is a nice, fresh, rythm game mixed with puzzle elements. The atmosphere of the japanese-dreamt Paris works well, and even though it's a little short, the adventure is indeed very nice.

Dance Central is everything one could expect from a good sequel. As precise in it movement recognition, it now boasts a two player offer, an enhanced solo mode, and a very decent learning curve. It may be this last point that drives a choice between DC2 and Just Dance 3: the first is more demanding and deep, the second more aimed at immediate fun.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles reunites, at last for westerners, two very good games, probably among the best of the franchise. Capcom lets us discover exciting cases, brilliantly written, and some memorable characters. Not very difficult, but indeed very joyful. A must-have for fans and a maybe the best way to discover this amazing franchise.

Even though Mists of Pandaria may be easing things up a little too much leveling-up wise, it's full of delicious content. But World of Warcraft's age is starting to show, both in terms of quest structure and storytelling. The humor is still a nice touch.

Ratloop Asia offers us a nice conversion of their web title. The differences aren't legion, but anyway, the game was good. The blend of puzzle, action, dark humor and good music is spot on. A very nice little game to boost up your mood.

Gone home is a beautiful story told with talent. The total immersion and storytelling brings a sense of renewal in the world of video games. Unfortunately, lifespan is too short: 2 hours are enough to see the end.

The Quarry is the worthy successor of Until Dawn, but also Supermassive’s best game so far. With its endearing casting, an addictive story, an astonishing cinematography and a proven formula, The Quarry is a must-play horror game for fans of the genre.

MotoGP 20 evolves little, but evolves well compared to its previous version. It gains a better team management, both cosmetic and mechanical damage as well as improved management of the motorcycle during the race. It is therefore a little deeper and more interesting. For the next version, in addition to an essential update, we are asking for paddocks that really live and enough to satisfy the thirst for knowledge of motorcycle enthusiasts.

A bit different from the previous episodes in terms of tone, Wasteland is a very pleasant crossroad for Life is Strange 2, with some very interesting characters, a good evolution of Sean and Daniel's relationship, heartbreaking choices to make and a shocking ending that promises a lot for what's coming next.

On PC, Octopath Traveler is still this charming and gorgeous retro-RPG that offers a well-built but classic adventure to fans of the genre.

Marvel vs Capcom Infiinite is a good and fun game, with nice simplified mechanics and a really cool story mode. Too bad its roster lacks some iconic fighters like the X-Men at launch.

Diablo 4 is extremely generous. A clear evolution of the franchise and a real return to form. This fourth opus does everything better and bigger. A vast world, over a hundred dungeons, ultra-pushed customization... Nothing is left to chance. What's more, the narrative campaign is a delight to navigate. The narration has been given much more attention than in the past, the dubbing (VF and VO) is a delight and the cinematics are sublime. Even the mise-en-scène is superb. As for the endgame, it's shaping up to be a busy one. With a completely overhauled Parangon system that's infinitely deeper than in the past, endless challenges and ever-higher difficulty levels, you'll have plenty to do. It now remains to be seen what the long-term impact will be in terms of overall class balancing, redundancy and the seasonal system. As for the business model, still a mystery at the time of writing. But we'll come back to that later. As it stands, Diablo 4 remains an ultra-solid game.

Vermintide 2 is a must have on Xbox One too. This Cooperative heroic fantasy FPS is in actually identical to the PC version and runs smoothly at 4K/30 FPS on Xbox One X and 1080/30FPS on Xbox One.

That's You is what it takes: a very quick and fun way to spend 15 minutes of fun with friends or family. The PlayLink concept, which allows you to play each with a smartphone or a tablet, is really cool and well designed : you all go very quickly and easily into the game... even if the final drawing test (co-operative drawings) slows down things a little. The pace of each game is also a bit repetitive if you chain too much, a little more variety in the types of events would have been welcome... but it remains that the experience is still very fun, if your friend are, obviously, if you all know each other very well, and if you are at least 3 or 4 players around the PS4.

Pokkén Tournament DX is a good fighting game for the Nintendo Switch, that uses the features of the system to offer local versus with two players having a Joycon.

It's always touchy when a license changes hands, but Warner Bros Montreal succeeds with Batman: Arkham Origins, the third and penultimate episode of the Batman: Arkham series started by Rocksteady. The risks were minimal, given how the Quebecois studio perfectly replicates Batman: Arkham City, one of the best games of this generation. But if reproducing perfection requires skills to propose a story, sense of rhythm and narration on the par with Arkham City was a challenge, they overcame it. Furthermore, with a nice multi-player mode and a gigantic length there's no doubt this Batman is a winner. A must have for fans and non-fans alike.

By offering a gigantic and gorgeous map full of life and secrets, the second installment of this new Hitman gives players exactly what they need: a great setting to experiment with a large amount of possibilities given to fulfill 47's contracts.

No, MGS5 Ground Zeroes is not 2 hours long. And yes, that would be a shame to just talk about the length of its main mission. Technically and artistically stunning, it offers an excellent stealth game experience and a story that all the fans will love... We can't wait for Phantom Pain now.

For its small price and despite a weak roster (even though it's quite varied), Skullgirls offers quite a rich meal to versus fighting lovers. Innovative in its form, artistic direction and even its gameplay, it's an excellent combat game for this price range.

Death of the Outsider is a superb way of closing the parenthesis of the Dishonored saga. By giving the player new powers to play with, Arkane forces us to redefine the way we play the series. As usual, each level offers multiple possibilities, but this time the lethal of pacifist approach does not change the world we live in.

There are not many superlatives that does not stick to Danganronpa V3 : Killing Harmony. This third installment in the series is more extreme, more meta, more amazing in its storyline, even if the core gameplay suffers from reals changes to surprise the old students. Unless the visual novel genre or its Japanese style makes you want to run away, Danganronpa V3 : Killing Harmony is worth the school trip.

They didn't transform the franchise completely, proposing instead an even more realistic rendering and a very alluring accessibility. Occurring in a beautiful anime setting, Astral Chain is a real treat for the players. The gameplay mechanics, focused on the link between the main character and its Legions, are really engaging, but only in solo mode unfortunately. With this game, PlatinumGames confirm their status as masters in Beat'em-all games making.

If you truly love cycling, it is a must have.

Endless Space's gameplay is somewhat close to a board game. Conquest must be achieved with but one goal in mind, but you will not be able to excel if you have more than one strategy. Economy, diplomacy, military, scientific, whatever you choose, stick to it. It's only true shortcoming for the time being is a less-than-stellar AI that sometimes acts irrationally, and some mising multiplayer tools to better plan the experience.

Sid Meier's Civilization VI is probably the best 4X actually on the market and for many years. A masterpiece of strategy who know improve all aspects of previous game. A good mix of accessibility and complexity.

Some works leave a deep impression on you. After the excellent Gris, Nomada has succeeded for a second time in making a condensed game that will nevertheless leave a lasting impression on those who venture into it. It's hard not to compare it with the studio's previous title, so similar are they in some ways. But Neva has a personality of its own. It tackles other themes, just as universal and with an evocative force that goes straight to the heart. We want more, just a little bit more, to close this never-ending story with the feeling that we've really reached the end of what the game can tell us. This doesn't detract from the pleasure of traversing the sublime scenery of this dreamlike world, in the company of this little she-wolf whom we quickly fall in love with. Neva will definitely find its place in the hearts of all gamers.

Despite the repetitiveness inherent to the genre, the player is constantly hooked by the depth of the game, filled with subtleties and hidden features. Indeed, Loop Hero encourages him to experiment new approaches in order to gather more and more loot or to confront the four bosses of the game, the latter being no mean feat.

Valkyria Chronicles 2 will take a lot of your time before you actually enter the heart of the matter, but if you have enough courage to get through the first few hours of play - filled with too easy missions and a clumsy adventure part of little interest - you will eventually find an excellent set of action / strategy, as deep as it is original and beautifully executed. Not to waste anything, the improvements over the PS3 version are very interesting (class changes) and the limitations of the PSP cleverly circumvented (with combat zones divided in smaller parts for an added strategic element). Do not expect a deep adventure, though. This aspect remains very light (and a bit naive I must say).

Dance Central succeeds thanks to its sexy playlist and design (especially its interface), but its movement recognition as well. Pro dancers and rythm-disabled alike will have fun playing it. Some will find challenge in reproducing all the choreographies, others will put the hip dancing moves tips to good use. Too bad the game doesn't have a lot of modes, a way to create our own choreographies, not a larger playlist (fewer than 40 tracks). But Dance Central works: it makes us dance and laugh.

Dark Souls Remastered is the best version for Dark Souls on consoles, and it's still one of the best action-RPG of all time. The 60fps framerate is a real pleasure, as the other technical improvements too. We would have preferred a real remake, but it's still a very good way to (re)discover the series.

On top of a rather large industrial complex, Stealth Inc. 2 explores new methods of infiltration through the GamePad, its asymmetrical functions being wonderfully exploited for the cooperative manoeuvres. But such precise operations require some skills that only hardened secret agents possess.

The basics of My Time At Portia are very solid. The opposite would have been surprising regarding the inspirations you have seen in this review. If those have already seduced you in the past, you should not be disappointed. However, do not expect to be surprised, because despite its eminently sympathetic appearance My Time at Portia lacks originality and still suffers collisions issues (minor) and polishing regarding translations. Trust is sufficient at Team 17 to announce console versions and even a mac version. Especially since its depth belies its childish aspect. If all the promises of development are kept (marital history, new buildings, pub games, seasonal events ...) it could also hold on the duration. What ? Who said he would fit like a glove to the Switch?

Two Point Campus is a nice surprise and a very good management game. Funny and deep, it is a little jewel that will clearly make you want to go back to school.

Through this reinterpretation of the fourth episode, Ys ventures into a more expansive world full of new discoveries without forgetting its noble values, hence making Memories of Celceta an ideal heir to extend this brilliant dynasty.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is a worthy sequel to its predecessor. Everything is finally more fluid, less austere, while keeping the strengths of the first part. In short, a very good title and a real must-have on Nintendo Switch.

Ubisoft and Capybara Games deliver an almost spotless work with this HD downloadable version of Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes. The franchise is well respected, and the gameplay both original and solid. With attractive visuals, a long lifespan, nice multiplayer features and an very affordable price, Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes is a very nice game to acquire for those who look for something to download that's different from the usual shooters and action games.

Stacking, the lastest title of Double Fine, combines original gameplay with a scenario full of a nicely sick humour. The challenges are divided in several levels, allowing the brain-lazy to enjoy the story, while others pick their brains trying to complete the game at 100%. But the art direction by itsleft is worth the small price asked by the developer for this little jewel of an adventure / puzzle game. So play with dolls!

On paper, The Game Bakers' latest game might be simplistically labeled a “climbing simulator,” but in practice, it is far more than that. Beyond offering a challenge to both Aava and the player, CAIRN delivers an epic adventure rarely seen in video games. It is a work capable of inspiring wonder, frustration, anger, and moments of calm. Yet, what lingers most is the extraordinary sense of elation when we finally overcome our repeated failures. CAIRN is yet another reminder of the talent flourishing in French studios, and of the pride we can justifiably take in them.

Torchlight II is very similar to Torchlight (who would have guessed ?) although better in almost every way. The game balancing is incredibly good (even though it's a little too easy in the beginning), and the character progression system ought to be taught in game design schools. Overall, it remains simple and pure hack'n slash, but isn't that what the fans were expecting?

It's a really different alternative to StarCraft II that really deserves attention, if only to discover another way to wage war.

But some details suggest that Capcom didn't really finish its job. It's a shame, even though their game remains a reference for the genre. Compared to the king of the genre, UFC Undisputed, I must confess I have a personal preference for EA Sports MMA, thanks to its accessibility and "easy to pick-up" philosophy. UFC remains the deepest of the two, and benefits greatly from its official license, but this first foray of EA on that front really establishes it as a serious competitor. It's especially true if you're looking for online play, where EA's experience is really shining in comparison to UFC. So if you're not already a hardcore fan playing UFC, but just someone who's interested in starting up with something more noob-friendly, EA Sports MMA is just for you.

Mortal Kombat 11 is a very beautiful and enjoyable fighting game, and has a lot to give. Fans of the franchise and newcomers will a find something very technical and deep, with a lovable campaign plenty of game modes and even some quite interesting tutorials. A serious contender in its genre for 2019.

Dead or Alive 5 + is an excellent port. This PS Vita version offers superb graphics and the gameplay is identical to the PS3/Xbox 360 versions.

If you're a hardcore Street Fighter IV fan, you obviously have to purchase this Arcade Edition in order to enjoy the latest changes of your favorite game. But some details suggest that Capcom didn't really finish its job. It's a shame, even though their game remains a reference for the genre. For more casual fighters, the bugs and balance issues we're referring to won't be really apparent, but in order to save a little money, if they didn't already fell for the regular and Super editions, they'd be well advised to wait for the boxed version - because clearly, this DLC Arcade Edition remains a little expensive as is.

Five years later, God of War III is still a great beat them all to play. It has not aged a bit in terms of gameplay and its remastering makes it definitely look great to all eyes. Not essential for those who already know the game, but clearly interesting if you've never played it before on PS3.

I Expect You to Die is a brillant VR experience, actually one of the best so far.

Advanced Warfare is a really good CoD episode, with the Exo evolutions and a campaign supported by an excellent cast, but it doesn't revolutionize the series.

With a much lower pace than its competitors, in favor of its truly strategic (rather than tactical) approach, R.U.S.E. provides large-scale battles filled with subtlety, twists, and finesse, for its solo adventure and multiplayer alike. Its system of ruses, most notably, is absolutely brilliant for building up effective attack and defense strategies, especially when you're able to keep most of your real intentions concealed up to the very last minute. It's a game one needs to approach from afar, with the intelligence of a general, and a real soft gem in a world of brutish RTS games. It's a really different alternative to StarCraft II that really deserves attention, if only to discover another way to wage war.

Compared to the king of the genre, UFC Undisputed, I must confess I have a personal preference for EA Sports MMA, thanks to its accessibility and "easy to pick-up" philosophy. UFC remains the deepest of the two, and benefits greatly from its official license, but this first foray of EA on that front really establishes it as a serious competitor. It's especially true if you're looking for online play, where EA's experience is really shining in comparison to UFC. So if you're not already a hardcore fan playing UFC, but just someone who's interested in starting up with something more noob-friendly, EA Sports MMA is just for you.

Indeed, this collection doesn't add a lot of significant stuff, the mini-games aren't all that interesting. But without a doubt, for fans of platformers who didn't get a chance to sink their teeth into the episodes of this incredible franchise, it's a golden opportunity to play 3 great games who didn't age a bit, except maybe the original.

A little more than 15 hours of gameplay, new environments, new enemies, new missions, new allies, improvements on many levels ... This is how to quickly describe this DLC called War of the Chosen. Despite its high price (39.99 euros) it's an excellent DLC that most fans have to play.

A demanding tactical RPG with a unique and zany ambiance, in its best version.

LittleBigPlanet on the Vita has the same beautiful appearance, with a reworked interface using touch controls. Those integrate decisively well both when playing the solo campaign and creating levels. It may be a little short as a solo platformer, but apart from that, it's as good as ever, if not more.

If you like strategic turn-based games and futuristic settings, it's hard not to recommend Civilization: Beyond Earth, even if it doesn't revolutionize the series and still suffers some flaws.

It's rather clear: Fallout New Vegas is everything Fallout 3 should have been. Well, in terms of freedom and storyline that is, since from a technical side, it's as disappointing as ever. All we can do is pray and hope for their colleagues id Software to lend Bethesda a decent engine - Obsidian couldn't do miracles with what Bethesda's coders gave them, and sometimes it even ruins some nice gameplay ideas like their crafting system. But in the same manner everyone overlooked the flaws of Fallout 1 & 2 because their creators were storytelling geniuses, Obsidian's work on New Vegas is good enough to make us forget about all the lesser details - except maybe the overall lack of challenge.
