Sega Genesis Classics is without a doubt the best homage the old 16-bit Sega console could receive. With 50 games, which features solid gold trilogies, only the retrogaming haters may miss this very best-of, lacking the expired license-based titles. The new interface offers countless options to prevent us from frustration, and the four saves slots for each game could take you back to the past for more than a few hours.

For its first shot in the beloved galaxy far, far away, Ubisoft Massive makes a convincing show of Force, in an open world formula relatively well adapted. At its best, Star Wars Outlaws is a very good blend between action-adventure and stealth games, especially thanks to the adorable addition of Nix. It's also one of the most beautiful and immersive Star Wars games to date, that pays a lovely tribute to this monument of the pop-culture. The whole experience is although marred by a conventional story, with rather cliché characters, some frustrating bug mostly rare bugs, and the terrible AI that has plagued Ubisoft games for years. Nevertheless, this is definitely a good Star Wars Games, which could spark a new hope for the return of Ubisoft at its peak.

It's rather clear: Fallout New Vegas is everything Fallout 3 should have been. Well, in terms of freedom and storyline that is, since from a technical side, it's as disappointing as ever. All we can do is pray and hope for their colleagues id Software to lend Bethesda a decent engine - Obsidian couldn't do miracles with what Bethesda's coders gave them, and sometimes it even ruins some nice gameplay ideas like their crafting system. But in the same manner everyone overlooked the flaws of Fallout 1 & 2 because their creators were storytelling geniuses, Obsidian's work on New Vegas is good enough to make us forget about all the lesser details - except maybe the overall lack of challenge.

Visually stunning, taking advantage of an amazing soundtrack, Harold feels like Heaven to watch. And the 12 tracks from this 2D runner are perfectly tailored, feel unique and demand a lot of reflexion and reflex actions that hardcore - or really stubborn - gamers will fully enjoy. For people who don't have time to face its progressive but unforgivable difficulty and don't see themselves fighting for a good rank on leaderboards, it will probably feel like Hell. Still, this unique game will definitely reward perseverance.

Two Point Hospital manages to successfully update its ancestor and brings a real wind of freshness in the ocean of action titles that sweep across our different platforms. Full of humor, with intelligent mechanisms and a practical interface of management, and also didactic, with a smooth progression, it has everything that is needed to attract gamers. That's why we forgive it more easily some concerns about backups, hoping that it will benefit from updates and even more scenarios.

With very well-crafted gameplay, PES 2019 is able to deliver some intense, gratifying, gorgeous looking soccer games. The fact is that it is as fantastic on the pitch (except for a referee who can forget to let the game play instead of whistling), that it's lame on the content side. Nothing really new in terms of content or UI, which is not harmful for soccer game evenings with friends but can start to annoy those who expect more from Konami.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is not the game you were expecting and that's fine. It is a painfully restrictive and tough title that punishes you for every single mistake you make - which is not exactly what Monster Hunter World does. If the scenario is in direct line with the previous one, it will bring its share of surprises, time travel and a much more definitive conclusion than before. The VR gameplay is inherited and almost modeled on that of the first episode: you move weightlessly with the strength of your arms or your jetpack, and you have to wander around a crumbling space station and fix it and relaunch it with it. the few tools that are at your disposal. We also warmly welcome the cockpit views, the new race circuits and all the 1.000 cars. But above all, whether with the wheel or the controller, the driving sensations are really, really fantastic. Unfortunately, some stuff remains committed to values that could be described as "outdated", particularly in terms of AI, sound effects, collisions and damages. We would also have expected much better weather effects, and we regret that only 200 Premium models feature cockpit views and high poly-count. Frustrating. The Outer Worlds 2 ticks all the boxes of a successful sequel, building on the solid foundation of its predecessor to offer an even more ambitious and complete RPG. We are therefore treated with a true "role-playing game" in a video game format, which offers enormous freedom in the way we approach its universe of impressive coherence and fine writing, very beautiful to contemplate, and always with the caustic humor of the franchise. It also offers pleasant and modern gameplay that does not stand out against pure FPS / TPS. However, we will have to deal with a staging that seriously lacks spice, a very perfectible artificial intelligence, and the fact of limiting ourselves to the specialization of a part of the available skills. At the risk of finding ourselves greatly handicapped over the course of a main quest that is ultimately less exciting than the side missions that punctuate the adventure. One way like any other to make us want to start a new game, if finishing the adventure in one go with a very generous lifespan was not enough. An Obsidian game as we like them, in short.

More robust, more extensive, Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate is the most complete version of DOA5 and proves to be an excellent 3D fighting game for those who do not know DOA5 yet. However, it is difficult to recommend it to those who have purchased DOA5, unless they are incorrigible fans who feels like they have to own every episode.

Endless Space gameplay is pretty well adapted to this fantasy/SF Civ-like that also provides new interesting features. Most of these are well-thought and Endless Legend is close to perfection technically and artistically. Some might find the tactical fights a bit fastidious and the AI too timid. Let's hope Amplitude will work on that after release. Also, it's better to join the community and look for multiplayer games anyway if you want to enjoy Endless Legend at full capacity.

A great improvement over a very good surprise of 2012. PC players of the original game could not see the difference but gamers on PS3 and Xbox 360 and especially newcomers have a great opportunity to (re)discover and enjoy a very good game.

Football Manager 2013 manages to get us out of our coaching routine by providing a real graphical overhaul. We can now immerse ourselves freely in its gargantuan option menus without having the impression to lose our brain. This is still the best football management simulation, but this time with an ever more immersive game system.

What a formidable tribute this Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is for the 30th birthday of Pac-Man. Addictive, thrilling, psychedelic, this frenzy-inducing downloadable title reinvents the classic gameplay with subtleness, without spoiling the substance of the original. Being able to refresh such an oldie without crushing it... kudos !

Even if it's not as awesome as the last episode of the first season, Not Going Back proves to be an excellent conclusion to this story arc. We've known fear, encountered some great characters, felt joy meeting again with an old friend, and rage against someone truly evil. Clem has grown up right before our eyes and thanks to our decisions. All of this has led to an ... ending. And because there are five of them, which are truly different, meaning that the illusion of choice is not an illusion anymore, promises for what to happen next are great.

A Way Out is a unique game, a huge success in the narrative genre, that deals more than well with its urge to make us play cooperatively. The concept, that involves an almost permanent split-screen, not only works great, but the story, its characters and the way we deal with some really simple but really engaging gameplay makes us feel like we are actually the two lovely protagonists of this interactive, full of action and emotion buddy movie.

Charming, accessible, yet of unforgiving (but not frustrating) challenge, Rogue Legacy is first and foremost of great fun. This blend of rogue-like with permadeath and Metroidvania gameplay is refreshing and well-balanced, and even though it may appear repetitive, it's an addictive game.

Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales is a fantastic way to extend the original game, with the same strengths and weaknesses. This game is not already using the full potential of PS5, but it still is a great adventure that will totally conquer fans of Spider-Man with its universe, pretty good ideas and soundtrack.

Might & Magic Heroes VI seems to be handling its innovations quite nicely. They add fluidity and dynamism to an already very appealing game, the scenario of which perfectly handles the license's richness. Too bad our review version didn't allow us to judge the balancing in multiplayer enough, nor its final polishing (it was quite bugged at the time of this review).

Raw and beautiful Versus Fighting, here it is! KoF XIII gives its pride back to the series. But it sacrifices some accessibility in favor of this new richness, even though it includes some tutorial modes that are well-crafted. But if you have time and motivation to spare in order to dive into it, this episode is a really good one, even though it still doesn't come near a Blazblue or SFIV in terms of online play.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 is a splendid sequel, that has a lot to offer to players that are in need of some classic Castlevania experience. It offers a good challenge and has some pretty brilliant new ideas and feels like a very good NES game, which is compliment, that is very enjoyable for two players. Question : where do we have to sign for a third episode ?

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim dives us into a complex story, mixing heroes, periods of time and themes to deliver a love letter to Japanese science fiction. Curiously, the game is strictly divided between phases, switching from narrative story-driven thumbnails to minimalist strategy fights, delivering a strange but satisfying experience for every Japan lover and 2D aesthete.

Call of Duty WWII is a real success and the franchise's return to its roots can only be acclaimed. The campaign does justice to both the Second World War and D-Day. The multiplayer, while packed with good ideas, lacks the ambition seen and felt in the campaign. Call of Duty WWII offers the best CoD single player campaign seen in quite some time and multiplayer modes that are fun even if a bit underwhelming. Overall, it's mission accomplished for Sledgehammer.

Soul Sacrifice Delta is not only a huge extension powered up by new bosses, locales and spells to alleviate the experience's inherent repetitiveness. The introduction of an intriguing, grim(m)ly choice adds a some depth and diversity, both through the narrative and the gameplay. Hence this accomplished stand-alone represents the definitive incarnation of Soul Sacrifice, even if there is a hefty price to pay for veteran sorcerers.
