While the virus has been contained, its effects are most evident in the devastated streets of the nation's capital where survivors cling to hope and struggle to rebuild. Enter The Division, a unit of civilian sleeper agents who now must work to stop enemy factions from completely taking over the city – and ultimately, the nation. As a universally-regarded seat of power, if D.C. falls, the nation falls. With civilians helpless and fearing for their lives, players will be the last line of defense in preventing the total collapse of society. [Ubisoft] Expand

The Division 2 is exactly what the fans wanted from the first game. It's bigger, has much more content, and with laser accuracy focuses on hardcore players who spend hours in the end-game. [Issue#294]

The Division 2 is a substantial evolution on the mechanics of the first game, with a more immersive world to boot. This is an impressively complete game, with heaps to offer players across all of its content prongs and a level of polish that belies the size of the game’s open world. Sure, it’s story is utterly forgetful to the point where you may not even realise it has one, but all the other components have been tuned to near-perfection.

The Division 2 is one of the best looter shooter games available, and puts other to shame. This sequel is perfectly built on original by implementing and perfecting ideas that work fantastically in post-apocalyptic Washington D.C.

For those who finished the first Division game, this second episode will probably lack some new and exclusive features. That being said, The Division 2 is definately a great game that mixes polished gameplay and a huge amount of content, especially for the end game.

This is a case study in how to get it right the first time - and, finally, students of this genre will discover what happens when devs don't have to spend the first 12 months of a loot game's life knocking it into shape. For one, the future looks bright. [Issue#332, p.108]

Recent games have reminded me that sometimes great execution is better than a noble failure, and The Division 2 executes on its concept with finesse. The story is lackluster, and the real-world aesthetic will turn of some players, but it doesn't matter because the core and flow of this looter shooter is great. There are something things that could be tweaked, like enemy density and their ability to one-shot you, but overall The Division 2 is a sequel done right.

An improvement over its predecessor, with visuals that wow. Occasionally repetitive combat and an unengaging story are the main flaws that might deter budget-conscious gamers from buying at full price.

There's an enormous amount of replayability and so much content. I had high expectations for this game and somehow it's even better than I'd imagined. Highly recommended for fans of looter shooters :).

Long story short I like this game.

Considering the fact that I run on a set up with a very old cpu, optimization is very decent, mainly thanks to ability to change a great number of settings which is rare

As for gameplay I’m not a fan of cover based shooters but overall shooting mechanics feel satisfying. And progression system gives an opportunity to adjust your build to your preferences. Speaking about “bullet sponge” concerns of a big number of players , I didn’t notice it much during early access as common “red bar” enemies may be killed sometimes in number of two for one clip of my gold ak-m.

Also need to mention that in pvp some guns had been balanced since beta which is good news.

As for cons of the game, for a new player it may seem complicated at first as the number of player stats are dumped at you without much explanation how it is better to manage them, but after some time it becomes more understandable.

Looks like microtransactions are just cosmetics (as for now) that maybe earned at random through finding them in missions and open world, and also through loot boxes, that are also earned for leveling/completing certain objectives.

Overall, Division 2 is a refreshing game after recent fails of some looter-shooter and open-world games that I will not name.

But everything else is just incredibleThe setting of the game and the process of pumping itself is quite normally implemented in the game. But everything else is just incredible **** As if you were not pumped, bots at the most difficult level will take you out from several patrons. They scatter around the spot and You have no chance to hide from them.
For those developers who developed pvp mode, a separate boiler in hell was prepared. No balance, no logic. You start to play solo and the clan plays against you. You take down two cells to the enemy, while he is killing you from the cage floor. maps in pvp are boring, we play backward.
Take the same Destiny2, which turned out quite controversial. So there I liked only pvp mode. How can you, based on the experience of competitors, make everything so bad?
And their lags are generally something. My brother and I have very good new computers, but eternal friezes and crashes after so many patches ...
In general, I do not recommend this game to anyone!

It is still completely unbalanced since the stupid warlords of new york update and loot 2.0
toss that crap overboard and bring back the old balance!
dying instant in a fire -> nogo, but still the case
dying of 1 shot from a npc -> nogo but still the case
loot drops are way below rewarding, who needs 70% purple drops on heroic from chests ????
last fix in tu8.5 introduced another exploit -> strikers can build up count on other players in DZ WITHOUT being rouge. when full, just go rouge and nuke everyone in the premise...
DO YOU GUYS EVER TEST THE CRAP YOU PRODUCE????
