This retro experience is a though challenge that will reveal its true potential only to those brave enough to endure thousands of deaths by the minute. Cuphead is not accessible to everyone, and it is fine like this. Beautiful and diversified as any other, Cuphead is such a rewarding game; it reminds us the true taste of victory.

Monster Hunter Rise is probably the best episode of the saga, as it is taking all the new stuff from Monster Hunter World and improving the formula again to make the hunt more pleasant than ever, especially if you are fond of Japanese folklore. A must have for fans and the best way to discover the franchise, wherever you want.

Divinity Original Sin 2 is undoubtedly one of the best RPGs we've seen in a long time. Deep, rich, varied and gorgeous are the right words to describe this game. Larian has made a true masterpiece.

Persona 3 Reload is an excellent remake and truly modernize the game by harmonize it with Persona 5. A truly impressive graphical leap that which brings new perspectives and brings some new features. The Tartarus still feels outdated and could have benefited from some tweaks. But Persona 3 Reload is still a memorable game and one of the best of the beginning of the year.

Steins gate is a great sequel to the original. A must have for all visual novel fans.

Few new licenses have been successful in setting the bar so high. Thanks to its varied, dazzling landscapes, its controlled rhythm, and sharp gameplay, Aloy's quest redefines what immersion in an open world means, if it does not revolutionize the genre.

Assassin's Creed III might not be as revolutionary in itself as the historical period it covers, and it still has some shortcomings that may annoy old timers of the series and newcomers alike, but its generosity, the unbelievably high quality of its writing, particularly the character of Connor, the political and societal questions it weaves into its Templar / Assassins storyline, and the overall generosity of its content more than make up for it. It may feel constricted inside our current hardware, but manages nonetheless to push back its limits, combining the proven formula with new gorgeous elements both in the solo and multiplayer aspects.

The PS4 version is very close to the PC version even if it a bit less impressive visually. There are a few graphic bugs on the water surfaces, nothing really bad. Whether it's for matchmaking or framerate, the experience is complete. Clearly the best co-op FPS of 2019.

Excellence in Formula One. That's what comes to mind when it comes to summarize the qualities of F1 2019. Extremely complete, very well thought out at all levels, this 2019 edition has everything to seduce. Whether you are a motor sports enthusiast or a fan of the series, you will not be disappointed. Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator is a fantastic fighting game. It offers a very deep gameplay that you can learn and master via the excellent training mode, and gorgeous graphics and characters. Thumbs up.

Could IO Interactive have ended the World of Assassination Trilogy better? Probably not. Even if Hitman 3 sticks to previous episodes formula and plays it safe, keeping its usual flaws, it offers gorgeous and incredibly well-conceived destinations that will indeed please fans. There are so many good trails to follow, so many possibilities that you'll sure end up with the urge to try everything in order to go for the perfect kill. If you own Hitman 1 and Hitman 2, there is some serious amount of challenges waiting. A PlayStation VR ? Prepare for a game-changing experience.

We could not have thought of a better way to end Kiryu Kazuma's adventures. More than a simple GTA clone, Yakuza 6 is a generous game which will provide you with a hundred hours of an amazing gaming experience. You will never be bored with the never-ending amount of content available in this game. Moreover, Japanese culture enthusiasts will have a great time hanging out in a very well modeled versions of Hiroshima and Kabukicho. A must have.

Theatrhythm Final Bar Line is a huge update of a remarkable richness and generosity. With even more covered games and music, and still effective mechanics, it will hypnotize music game lovers and Final Fantasy fans alike. An ode to the composers who built the reputation of the license and an infinite pleasure difficult to sulk. A bis repetita which catches like a siren song.

For its last platformer chapter, the Shovel Knight series let us play through the Monty Python King Knight, a wanabee king traveling the world to defeat its potential adversaries. Through this lovely pixel art adventure, the players will also discover the Joustus, a card game within the game, for ever more fun in every tavern of this grotesque world.

Football Manager has increased again in realism through pertinent adjustments. An essential for soccer's fans.

Presented as both a transitional episode and the best in the series, Football Manager 2024 succeeds in this double challenge. Firstly, because it subtly introduces mechanics that are bound to be improved in the years to come. Secondly, because it concentrates the best of the previous opuses, while pushing the level of quality to the maximum. Long live Football Manager... and long live the sequel, gentlemen!

This Monster Hunter World PC version is not perfect, notably because of lack of details in textures definition and some errors in binding of keyboard. And the game doesn't support cross-platform. For the rest, the game is a good experience with lots of graphics options like a 60FPS possibility and more. We just need to wait for an HD textures pack to have the ultimate PC version.

Beautiful and complete, Pillars of Eternity is a captivating game mastered throughout. Despite a lot of text to read and lengthy load times, it stands out as one of the best RPGs of our time.

With its first game, the newborn Nomada Studio hits the sky. With its striking evocative force, GRIS not only pleases the eyes, thanks to Conrad Roset's beautiful art style, but speaks to all of our senses. Revealing its numerous tricks one by one, the game succeeds in delivering both splendid and complex visuals without ever getting frustrating. Adorned by a sumptuous soundtrack which tells the story as much as the background, GRIS is nothing but a true masterpiece.

Ori and the Blind Forest is a true masterpiece, be it in terms of visuals or gameplay. You can't miss it.

Even if its core gameplay and visuals look too similar to the first episode, Hotline Miami 2 is exactly what we could expect: a harder, better, faster, stronger chapter to the series, that feels more polished in terms of structure, violence, soundtrack and global madness. A generous, violent, and hypnotizing fun experience that action game fans should not miss, as it will surely give them the pain they want to feel.

This is the reboot we were waiting for. Beautiful, clever, expertly paced, it's a superb blend of action, exploration and puzzle.

King of the racing games, Forza Horizon 5 is still visually impressive years later and takes advantage from the additional power of the PS5 Pro to push its technical limits even further across all consoles. A must-have for the lovers of the genre that unfortunately comes with a high price.

Beat Saber is, to put it simple, one of the best VR games we have ever tried so far, and one of the coolest and most rewarding music games ever. The soundtrack is overall very good, but unfortunately a little bit limited for a game of its kind, and we could also regret the absence of an online VS mode, but no good reasons shall turn you away from this fantastic rhythm game, which is an instant classic for virtual reality.

It's already an artistic achievement to build such a unique, fabulous world out of paper, but some wizardry of design prowess is required to use this material's physical properties in order to craft such astounding gameplay mechanics, with the PlayStation Vita as the main magical tool. Tearaway ventures even further, since it exploits the bond established between the character and the player through a narrative process, their interactions blurring the lines of virtual reality at the same time. Whether it's made from digital or vegetal matter, paper is still a fundamental medium to express creativity. And that might just be the message sent by Media Molecule with this lovely letter.

Layers of Fear is a fantastic horror game close to the Silent Hills PT experience.

As expected, SAROS stands out as a worthy spiritual successor to Returnal, and even more so. Far from resting on its laurels, Housemarque has successfully built upon the solid foundation of its previous title to deliver an epic adventure, enhanced by new features that make it accessible to a wider audience. While more accessible, SAROS remains a challenging yet exhilarating experience that delivers incredible thrills. This makes it a new must-have in the PS5 catalog, which once again boasts one of its best exclusives thanks to the Finnish studio.

Nier Automata shines as a magnificent action game and a strong open world RPG with an amazing narrative. Charming, full of surprises, unique, deep, powerful - it is indeed an amazing entrance in the series that can please fans and newcomers.

Sonic Mania is a solid game that reminds us how amazing in terms of design were the 16-bit episodes. We can say this game is inarguably a new classic for the blue hedgehog and that it has to become a reference for the future titles of the franchise.

Celeste is an amazing game in every aspect. This hardcore platformer combines solid gameplay, a strong psychological plot, staged by a brilliant pixel art direction and a fantastic soundtrack. The game is so generous and challenging, but still manages to gives newcomers a chance, even though you might miss the entire point by skipping some parts with the assist mode. You have every reason to play Celeste. Period.

This Nintendo Switch version of Layers of Fears offers new possibilities with the touch screen and the Joy-Cons and the DLC is of course included. It is also a little bit downgraded in terms of visuals, but the game is still the same: an outstanding narrative/horror adventure that you really shouldn't miss if you like the genre.

F1 2021 is a very good vintage. While remaining in technical and graphic excellence, the game adds an extra layer of links with real F1 and a bit of emotion with the Breaking Point mode. It is still very much into online gaming and even more so with career co-op. There is also a lot to do in all areas (management, development, tuning, driving), depending on the level of complexity that you have adapted to your tastes. A must have for any Formula One fan.

This fifth episode efficiently concludes a whole season that has just been constantly brilliant in terms of narrative and staging. A lot of surprises happen and lead to a final decision with potential consequences that will definitely help to remember this whole season of Life is Strange as a beautiful present from Dontnod to the players.

Final Fantasy XV carries within it the stigma of a chaotic project. Its open-world is huge but quite empty. Its fights dynamic but sometimes confusing. Its story grandiloquent, but somewhat bumped. Often, the spectacular meets the frustrating, making it a resolutely cleaving title. But if underlining all this is legitimate, do not forget the essentials: the four heroes of FFXV are among the most human characters in the history of video games, the last shot of the game making them immortal. Noctis, Gladio, Prompto, Ignis, thank you for this trip. Thanks to you, Final Fantasy is standing up again!

A true tribute to the fans of the saga, this episode traces the end of Sora's journey through the exploration of new worlds, more beautiful and vast than in the past, with a strong respect for the Disney worlds from which it is inspired. In short, Kingdom Hearts III is an imperfect work but overflowing with heart.

Dark Souls 3 takes the best of each game to create a fantastic level design, great gameplay, superb artistic direction and great visuals. Already one of the best games of 2016.

Unavoidable rendez-vous for the old-school games amateurs, the Xbox Live Arcade offers now a much justified remix of Guardian Heroes, odd mix between 2D brawler and RPG blessed by a iconic music score. Most developers would have failed, but Treasure prooves, 15 years later, that they stroke the right balance between a demanding technical approach and the pure visceral fun of beat'em all gameplay.

RiME is a memorable game. A simple and attractive one that really moves us and leaves us as speechless as its protagonist once we realize the true meaning of the whole adventure.

If you are an experienced pilot and already have X-Plane with premium paid content, you won't upgrade to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Well, not right away. Because if we can find problems with Asobo's baby, none of them is insolvable and will undoubtedly see improvements to strive even more towards perfection. As it stands, Flight Simulator is already a benchmark platform that will undoubtedly establish itself as the civil flight simulation of the decade. Checkmate.

Steins;Gate Elite is a remake of the original game that uses videos taken from the anime version. The result is almost perfect, and improves the global comfort that you feel while playing the game. A must have in the visual novel genre.

Superhot VR is visually cool and perfectly adapted for VR gameplay. The best VR game today.

A Plague Tale Requiem is a real slap of poetry and beauty. A masterpiece in form and content.

Technically very close to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, Assassin's Creed III on the Wii U takes advantage of some interesting (but is not revolutionary) innovations. The map and the few commands on the GamePad screen are nice, as is the ability to play without TV, on the GamePad itself, but for the rest, the experience is the same and AC3 remains an excellent game.

Last episode of a trilogy in which we admire the writing, art direction and themes, Mass Effect 3 is the grand finale that we all wanted to play. There may be some technical issues, the action phases could be more convincing, but still, Mass Effect 3 promises a great, emotional and epic galactic adventure. Already one of the best games of 2012.

Silent Hill f is a work of art brimming with love for the horror culture and the IP. Its narration tackles difficult themes with a rather rare mastery, balancing modesty and violence. The result is a compelling story from start to finish that that never fails to surprise. Blending classic horror and folklore, Silent Hill f envelops us in the mist and chokes us. This subtle horror game will also impress with its impeccable technique and artistic direction, offering genuinely chilling, and sometimes gory scenes. Without a doubt, Silent Hill F is one of the best games in the franchise and one of the best survival horror games in recent years.

A real gem for fans of the Konoha ninja, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is rich, well-crafted, fun to play and as worthy of the series as ever.

Luigi's Mansion 2 doesn't just bring back to life the original, it transcends it. Deeper gameplay, smart puzzles, and a parody-filled tone meet a carefully structured mission-based progression that make it perfect for nomad play, while its multiplayer offers yet another take on ghost cleaning.

HUMANKIND is a true masterpiece and the best 4X of the decade. The game has brilliant gameplay mechanics and offers us an experience of great depth, with some incredible art style. May its reign be long.

If you need a ingenious, varied and frantic runner, then Rayman Fiesta Run is for you. It is pure delight for your eyes and ears, and it is extremely addictive and fun.

Apex Legends isn't the last Titanfall game that we were waiting for, but it managed to surprise us by its innovative gameplay, inspired not only by the Battle Royale genre, but also by FPS and MOBA games. It will manage to make its way into the genre besides the "titan", Fortnite. The universe is complete and dives us into a fighting arena where we have to survive in order to please the public. After a very successful launch, Respawn holds the cards to make its battle royale game grow and surprise us even more.

As a whole, these Fates not only form the most massive Fire Emblem, but they also mark the series' most ambitious move, regarding the spectacular gameplay evolution and the subtle, complex narrative. Each version reveals a distinct approach through strategy or tone, hence such bold choices create a more immersive and dramatic experience. If Intelligent Systems had decided otherwise, Fire Emblem Fates could have become a game of clones. Fortunately, it stands as the ruler of the tactical role playing game of thrones instead.

Let's be clear, Horizon Forbidden West is one of the most beautiful PC games currently available and a real graphical marvel.

A year or so after the release of Sonic Mania comes Sonic Mania Plus, a version that adds new stuff like 2 more playable characters - Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the squirrel (who is not very pleasant), a competition mode for 4 players and more importantly Bis Mode that let us discover redesigned levels, great for those who know the original by heart. And it's still an extraordinary platformer for the blue hedgehog's fans.

Astro Bot is a VR platforming instant classic. In some ways, it is to virtual reality what Mario 64 was to 3D, as it uses a new technology to push new boundaries in the genre. We would have loved for it to have lasted a bit longer though.

Blue Prince is an indispensable nugget, one of the most exciting games of early 2025, and that's all there is to it. It's hard to talk about it without spoiling the huge surprise that awaits you. Without warning, the game bewitches us with its unique roguelite-puzzle game recipe. Insanely intelligent, the richness of its gameplay is based on puzzles that you have to solve yourself. Calling on our grey matter like never before, and even going beyond the boundaries of video games by forcing us to scribble our ideas on the corner of a table. Addictive in the extreme, even more rewarding than any roguelite, Blue Prince clearly deserves your attention. However, for us French-speaking fans, the language barrier can be a problem. But it can also be seen as a final test, and that suits it rather well, giving it an even more intriguing dimension in the end.

For a long time, Nintendo prioritised fun over technique. However, with the Nintendo Switch 2, the company has finally freed itself from the compromises it has had to make in the past. Donkey Kong Bananza is funny, beautiful and fluid in almost all circumstances. With its brilliant level design and freedom of approach, it constantly stimulates curious players, rewarding them at every turn. Its inventive challenges and mini-games offer a real challenge and will surprise you for hours. With Donkey Kong Bananza, the console shows that it has muscle, and this is indeed the first unmissable Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive.

Antichamber may very well be one of the best puzzle games in a long, long time. Artistically, in terms of game design, and atmosphere, the purity of the logic and the humbling approach to teaching you to trust your brain, almost everything in it is a bliss.

If you own a Switch and demanding run'n'gun games are your thing, then you need to buy Cuphead as soon as you can.

Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 is a fantastic fighting game that every fan of the genre should play.

What the Golf? is a clever, brilliant, crazy and oh-so funny game. Willing to break any rule there is to get a good pun, Triband's first major game is a must-play, thanks to its constant fun and will of going too far for its own good. One of the funniest, and best game of 2020 on Switch, and a perfect hole in one.

Blending all these aspirations - and inspirations - through a coherent adventure might feel like a dream, but it became a reality with Fantasy Life.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a must-play for both Yakuza and J-RPG fans. The PS5 version is a step-up from the original release and the story is as gripping as ever. We just wish that the PS5 version had made use of the DualSense's features and the Activity cards.

Beyond is both better and worse than its illustrious predecessor Heavy Rain. It features more varied gameplay, a better story, talented Hollywood actors and outstanding graphics... but it also lacks something: the ability to make truly decisive choices throughout the adventure. Significant changes you can make story-wise are actually concentrated at the end. However, games of this type and this quality are still too rare to deny yourself the pleasure.

Although not as important as Reaper of Souls for Diablo 3, Vessel of Hatred and the Season 6 that released alongside it clearly brought a welcome breath of fresh air to Diablo 4, despite a price that could be a bit too high depending of what we expect from it. The fans of the genre on the other side definitely enjoy what it offers. The campaign in the Nahantu jungle in its beautiful and macabre glory is as great as the main story in the base game, terrible cliffhanger at the end that filled us with Hatred nonwithstanding. The Spiritborn class is a true joy to play, with a great diversity of builds that are genuinely exciting to explore, alongside the Mercenaries and the runic words from Diablo 2 that make a convincing comeback, especially for solo players. Finally, the two additions to the endgame are both interesting and relevant in this central pillar of a hack'n'slash game, but only if you go through the Dark Citadel with friends. Let's hope that Blizzard will keep on this promising path with a second expansion that is most certainly already in the works (with a satisfying end this time, pretty please).

Like an old magical book, the dust just needed to be wiped off carefully to reawaken Dragon Quest VII's huge power. And that's exactly what ArtePiazza did, illuminating this world remelted through the third dimension, while multiple gameplay adjustments provide a more fluid experience. Fragments of the Past also kept very conservative traditions, hence embarking on such a long journey with so ancient - though proven - equipment demands real commitment. But by taking its time to tell the story, this generous episode delivers a sense of freedom, mystery, then a deep feeling of accomplishment at the end, treasures that are still rare these days.

This new Angry Birds Space is as addictive as ever, all the while revising its core gameplay mechanics thanks to the Space Theme. Gravity and other tricks renew the formula beyond expectations, and the very low price of the game is all the more convincing, given that it's brilliantly designed.

On Switch, Child of Light keeps on being a fantastic, poetic and powerful playable fairy-tale for the whole family, with strong arts, a beautiful story, some easy to understand mechanics and a lovely soundtrack.

Once again, a great adventure game from Pendulo. But this one is darker in tone and story (which is excellent) that, its usual productions.

Hotline Miami wants you dead! And he'll get satisfaction. The worst is, despite certain, repeated humiliation, despite death and outrages, you'll love it.

Transistor is a memorable and immersive game thanks to the companion voice and the stunning visuals and audio. Its rich gameplay is a bit demanding, but also rewarding if you want to experiment and discover all its secrets.

Like a fine wine, Stardew Valley improves with age. Even after 10 years, the title remains an essential reference in cozy farm games. Beneath its unpretentious retro indie game exterior, it actually hides an incredible amount of generosity. Supported by a community that is more active than ever today, its creator, Eric Barone, keeps expanding the range of possibilities with free extra content in each update. But above all, it works because the world it offers is as solid as it is immersive. The residents of Pelican Town are all characters worth getting to know, while the sense of freedom given to the player is reinforced by constant discoveries. Whether it's your first or tenth adventure, it's always worth returning to the valley for another visit.

NBA 2K14 is the best NBA 2K experience in terms of gameplay, immersion and pleasure, and it's even better on next-fen consoles, with amazing graphics.

In case you haven't figured it out, Monster Hunter Wilds is a masterclass. The worthy successor to World and Iceborne and its success is already assured. We are also already promised free updates, a first monster has been confirmed for spring 2025, a tab for event quests is already waiting for players and we know that collaborations will take place. Clearly, Monster Hunter Wilds is one of the rare games that already manages to make us love what's coming, without even knowing what we're going to have to deal with. Extremely generous from start to finish, it improves and modernizes a recipe that has already proven itself and won over millions of players. Fans can go there with their eyes closed, while newbies have here a perfect gateway to get a foot in the door of the license. A fantastic world awaits you, dozens of hours of hunting alone or in cooperation, but above all an incredible and spectacular experience. Definitely one of the best games of 2025, even if it's just beginning.

Shadowbringers is simply the best MMO extension ever made, period. The new world to discover is amazing, the story is amazing, the soundtrack is amazing and the updated battle system is amazing. We will only complain about one thing: please Square Enix, fix the way characters are animated during cut-scenes because it is painful to watch in 2019.

Whether it's an accomplished dream or a recurring nightmare, spending a bloody night will never have the same meaning, particularly for mere mortals.

Monster Hunter World is the real reboot of the series we've been waiting for for so long. Capcom has managed to maintain the essence of the game while getting rid of the gameplay rigidity of the past years, and the result is a beautiful and fantastic game.

Even if this PS4 version is all about new (and clearly stunning) graphics and doesn't fix some issues with camera and controls, it is a fantastic way to discover or taste once again one of the most extraordinary, emotional and impressive games of all times. Shadow of the Colossus deserves this second life, as it really well executed thanks to Blue Point's work.

On Switch or not, Fez is an incredible experience, strong and deep like very few games are. Whether you already played it somewhere else or not, Phil Fish's game is a must-have and has not aged a bit, even after 10 years.

Guild Wars 2 was long-awaited; it's now out, and its gigantic amount of content and polish are undeniable. What is, though, is its "revolutionary" tag. Because it's clearly not a revolution, just one of the most comprehensive, detailed, and rich "Theme Park" MMO ever, with a welcomed focus placed upon comfort for players. What may be a revolution, though, is having this rich a game with no subscription and a decent, not forced-down-your-throat online shop.

Astro Bot is an ultra-efficient platformer, but more than that. More than just a PlayStation tribute game, it's an experience in its own right. A Madeleine de Proust that will appeal to the little gamer in all of us. Far removed from the violence of many of today's AAA games, this is an outpouring of love for video games, and for PlayStation too, of course. In this sense, DualSense is more than ever in the spotlight, and all the better for it. We'd totally forgotten about its functionality, as the poor thing is generally under-exploited. Gameplay is a clear winner here, and you'll even find yourself experimenting with the hyper-calibrated haptic feedback. All in all, Astro Bot offers a dynamic, well-paced game that continually renews itself. There are a few glitches where skills, game sequences and OST use are repeated, but that's just nitpicking. In reality, it's a blast and leaves you wanting more. Astro Bot has a message, one that reminds us of what's essential: have fun, enjoy yourself and love video games. And for that, it's a total success.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls is a great experience and an excellent add-on to Diablo III. With the Adventure mode and Nephalem's Rift, Blizzard erases almost perfectly every inherent problems of Hack'n Slash games. It's actually quite difficult to find real defects in this add-on.

Tales of Arise is a fantastic RPG. With a big storyline that's much more complex than it looks, and touching characters, great design, combat playability, very nervous and close to a beat'em all, and very satisfying roleplaying aspects. And if the PS5 version doesn't have the most insane optimization, it's been a real pleasure to play this Tales of Arise. If J-RPG is your thing, you shouldn't miss it.

Just like Rayman Origins did one year ago, Rayman Legends just blew me away. Michel Ancel and his team did incredible work to make this game competitive against others platformers. They deliver a beautiful game, with some clever gameplay mechanics. The Wii U version uses the asymmetric gameplay very well and multiplayer is even better on this platform.

This third iteration is by far the best one. It's as pretty as ever, deeper and richer content-wise, and probably the best MMA "realistic" title today. Its only shortcoming : the new submission system, that seems a little too random. Other than that, if you're a fan, get it!

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is the best Assassin's Creed experience in terms of scale, freedom and gameplay. Between land and sea, the journey of Edward Kenway is really captivating.

After almost 2 years without being able to attend a concert normally, those who claim to be music lovers have the opportunity with The Artful Escape to participate in what comes closest to it : a rock and roll narrative experience. Ready to battle with Psychonauts 2 for the title of the most colorful artistic direction of the year, puffing up with color and good humor, with a fantastic soundtrack, the first project of Beethoven & Dinosaur does not disappoint. His neat writing, his crazy ans so well interpreted characters and his themes largely allow him to forget that it has not a lot to offer gameplaywise. One of the sunrays of 2021, unmissable if you have always dreamed of becoming a rockstar and dazzling an audience in delirium with your most melodious riffs.

In the same vein as recent PS5 exclusive ports, Nixxes delivers an excellent PC version of Death Stranding 2. Graphically and technically almost flawless, aside from a few minor glitches, enjoyable to play with both keyboard/mouse and controllers, especially the DualSense, and with some welcome additions via a free update, this is clearly the definitive version of Kojima Productions' latest BB. A port of this quality makes it all the more regrettable that Sony has apparently decided to stop adapting other single-player PS5 exclusives for PC in the future. This one, therefore, has a very unique flavour and, whether we like it or not, represents a beautiful swan song for this chapter of PlayStation history, which closes on the Beach.

This iPad adaptation is quite good, except during stressful moments where you have to quickly deal with the condensed interface, but that's still a real pleasure to take your FTL away with you where you want.

Lost Judgment takes what was good about Judgment and turns it into an even better game. The main story is riveting and all the side-stories are just as interesting in a wide variety of ways. The game shows a side of Japan that is rarely seen in video games. And it does it in a serious way that is even rarer. The silliness people have come to expect from a Yakuza game is off course here to add some levity. It is also hard to believe how much stuff the developers have managed to put in the game. There's all the side content seen in previous Yakuza games (except for the karaoke, which is sorely missed). And on top of that, they've added a handful of brand new activities and mini-games which all have their own mechanics. With Lost Judgment, the Takuya Kimura-led series already has its Yakuza 0.

A must have action-RPG with deep combat systems and an very interesting open-world. Sadly all is not perfect and graphics are totally outdated and AI have some problems.

Mario Kart World is an almost total success, and remains a must-have, even if there are a couple of minor complaints. Its risk-taking pays off, and it succeeds very well in its hairpin turn towards more subtle gameplay, which is still as fun and exhilarating as ever. The new features will take a little getting used to, but will quickly prove indispensable for shining in multiplayer races. The new survival mode is an absolute success and promises a bright future in the license, to the detriment of the battle mode, which is gradually fading away. In any case, Mario Kart World is a must-have for Nintendo Switch 2 and certainly the console's best launch game.

428: Shibuya Scramble is clearly a game worthy of its Japanese reputation. Spike Chunsoft's Visual Novel tells a riveting story and makes a really clever use of its multiple bad endings system. The game gives you a tour of the real Shibuya and introduces you to a cast of characters that grows on you very fast. It grows on you so much in fact, that once the game ends, you're sad that you'll never see them again.
