    Early quick-time events aside, this twelve hour adventure suffers so few missteps that it’s a genuine delight to play, even as the lead gets trampled into the seasoned pro we’ve come to know. Everyone take a bow… the first lady of gaming has returned.

    Tomb Raider's reboot is definitely a success delivering a deep, adrenalinic and spectacular game with a new and charismatic Lara Croft. Our main complaint is with the lack of greater scale puzzles and more challenging ones, something the game should have retained from its predecessors.

    Lara's return is a triumphant one, providing gamers with a visually breathtaking adventure around a well-realised island setting that harbours some dark secrets. Some more challenging puzzles and platforming would have been welcome, but as it stands, Tomb Raider is a thrilling reboot of a legendary franchise.

    It’s a fine return to form for the heroine whose comically conical boobs once fuelled a thousand adolescent quests for mythical nude codes. Lara Croft’s a real girl now, with real motivations, fears and feelings. And this is one reboot we hope will stick.

    It’s really hard to be excited about the future of Tomb Raider after this game. It fails where more successful films and games of its kind succeed: in its characters. The way in which Lara goes from inexperienced to full-on action movie hero survivalist is so jarring that it’s near impossible as a player to remain on the same emotional wavelength as the story. Because of this the rest of the game falters.

    I have previously played Tomb Raider games on PC but I didn't have much interest. If you're on the fence about this one, buy it without any further hesitation. People frequently mention Uncharted when discussing Tomb Raider, but I think this game is better. It has beautiful graphics, fun gameplay, and interesting RPG elements that kept me interested in the game for 20+ hours.

    It is very clear that a lot of effort went into planning, designing and creating this game. I hope to see a sequel, because I'll be preordering it immediately.    … Expand

And now is remake, great graphics, i was wondering how it possible to generate graphics like that on old Xbox 360.Great polish dubbing by Karolina Gorczyca (Lara -voice), interesting story, best gameplay, puzzles, puzzles, and a little too much fights, and enemies for me. One point i have to subtract- too much violence, why we have to see how Lara died in such horrible scenes ? Byt to sum up its the best Tomb Raider on next generation hardware since many years, so i have to admit its good masterpiece. I would like to play in Rise of the Tomb Raider, but maybe when i buy Xbox one.… Expand

    I played this game for the first time in 2013 and it seemed amazing to me.

    In retrospect, now that I've tried more recent games like Uncharted 4 or its sequel, Rise of the tomb raider, it seems no longer so epic.
    By the way, it's always a good game, it was innovative at that time. The graphics were cool and the story captivating, I still think plot was well-written, even more than the plot of Rise of the TR.
    But it has some lacks that I'd already noticed 4 years ago: the gameplay is too short, about 8 hours (tombs and collectibles included), map is not very big, hunting and gathering are almost useless, there are a few weapons, stealth doesn't exist and there a few tombs and too easy to do. But, I want to point out, the plot is captivating and really engaging.
    It was and still is a good game, but not excellent how I used to believe when I first tried it.    … Expand

And whats up with the camera angles and wardrobe? Where it set and made by religigious fanatics? I really dont want to see Lara with a 1930s adventurer, bomber jacket, case closed!!!!!!!!!!!! And yeah, the graphics kinda sucks too...it tries to fool you and make you think that it's good, but suddenly all the caves looks the same, and as in Far Blurr 3 this suffer from the same poor writing distance. I bet this can run well on an ipad in relativly short time, and thats not an overstatementt! Sad to see that Lara is gone cause this simply isnt a TR game!!… Expand
