Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series has levels that are pretty linear, bosses that don't even take five minutes to be defeated and a generic formula, without innovation in the genre and deprived of heart.- Malditos Nerds

The Wonderful 101 Remastered is a game that definitely has style, personality, and attitude. However, during the process of leaving the WiiU behind, it has lost some of its charm. This is a remastering work that feels right, but it's also awkward sometimes due to how it solves some Wii U's features such as dual-screen mechanics.- Malditos Nerds

Outlaws is an experience that, based on stealth and the most western adventure of Star Wars, offers a version of this franchise that we have not yet tasted in video games. This new version of Below is "more of the same", but, at the same time, it offers something different. You can tell that Bloober Team loves horror and The Medium has a lot of lovable details. The atmosphere and original mechanics are the strong point. But the story loses strength and even becomes confusing. This added to the excessive linearity and the chases obtuse design don't allow me to recommend it more than to true fans of the genre.- Malditos Nerds

Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath succeeds in everything. The story is highly entertaining, the new characters are very interesting and even the free content adds much more to a game that already had many good elements. But nothing that can be said takes away the fact that Aftermath is expensive for those who already have the game. It is especially frustrating considering that there are more DLC characters in development, and that surely next year we will have a new collection that for $60 that includes everything again.- Malditos Nerds

Trinity Fusion fulfills its primary function, which is to entertain and challenge. Its strong point is its agile and entertaining combat system, which invites us to dodge at the last moment and combine the temporary improvements that we have acquired. It is designed with the idea that there is always a way to dodge damage and that, potentially, we could go through the entire game without being touched. That guarantees interesting bosses with logical attack patterns, which we can learn to dodge and windows to counterattack.- Malditos Nerds

This definitive edition of Age of Empires III will doubly be able to get rid of the "black sheep" label. However, the changes in the interface, as well as being able to choose the HUD of the game that best suits our way of playing, alternating between the classic and the new one, changing the position of the resources and all the indicators, make this game the best version of Age III but, unfortunately, it will have to compete against the prejudices of the vast majority of fans who ignored it for so long.- Malditos Nerds

Marvel Rivals is not a bad video game, but I think it has much more to offer to the Marvel fan than to the gamer. While I think Eiyuden Chronicle has some room for improvement and that more development time would have been even better for it, I appreciate the many original ideas that the experience offers for a genre that is overpopulated, especially in its 2D/2.5D version. However, the foundations for something much bigger are already in place. We'll see if there will be enough gas to keep supporting this project or if it will remain encapsulated as a one hit wonder. My vote for Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, then, for all that it represents, with its mix of legacy and timeliness.- Malditos Nerds

The remastered version of Saints Row: The Third feels like a wasted opportunity. If in addition to dealing with the technical aspect, Sperasoft would hve polished the playable experience a bit, updated the AI and solved the most obvious problems, perhaps it would have been worth revisiting it 9 years later.- Malditos Nerds

The Indigo Disc makes Pokémon Scarlet and Purple a much more complete experience by addressing design flaws and introducing new mechanics. However, it still has timing issues and is poorly optimized.- Malditos Nerds

Obey Me is a very decent action brawler and its protagonists earn all our sympathy, even though the story is not that compelling and the combat system shows some limitations.- Malditos Nerds

Reveil is a psychological horror adventure that relies on a mystery that gets solved relatively soon, but manages to keep your interest until the end. Its technical accomplishments create a terrifying atmosphere that, unfortunately, gets broken again and again by some details that were handled without care.- Malditos Nerds

Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning isn't the best Action RPG today, but at the time it was so good that it felt like a window into the future of the genre. After replaying it, it's clear that it has aged like a good wine, because it manages to connect two aspects as important as an accessible but deep combat and a huge world full of characters and stories to discover.- Malditos Nerds

Watch Dogs: Legion is undoubtedly the best of the series, the one that is closest to bringing the experience promised by that trailer of the first game. Hacks are useful and the lack of a fixed character ends up making DedSec the true protagonist and, since we recruit, control and manage the operators, in the end we end up feeling part of the resistance.- Malditos Nerds

Destroy All Humans! is a remake that won't make much of an impact. While it feels like a modern title thanks to its gameplay and graphics, there are other elements that give its age away, as a title originally published in 2005.- Malditos Nerds

Project CARS 3 carries some of the DNA that has defined the series from its origins, but it is also true that, with the change, part of the identity was lost. This is clear because it's fun, it works and fulfills every proposal, but at the same time, it does not change anything nor does it offer something that distinguishes it from the rest of its competitors.- Malditos Nerds

Highwater is an adventure with a heavy focus on its narrative, and a turn-based combat system that presents its battles as puzzles. It is a modest but correct game in its technical aspects and the music is frankly spectacular, but each of its goals runs out of steam halfway.- Malditos Nerds

Past Mario's sports games in many cases managed to get me interested in the real disciplines, but Mario Golf: Super Rush lacks inspiration and ability to inspire. Standard mode is an experience that can be satisfying, but everything else is forgettable.- Malditos Nerds

Surgeon Simulator 2 takes the concept of the original game and adds a system of first-person exploration and puzzle-solving that may not be everybody’s cup of tea. The surgeries have been simplified to encourage a rather fun multiplayer mode, which nonetheless downplays the single player side of the experience.- Malditos Nerds

Immortals of Aveum is a fun magical FPS that takes place in a colorful and spectacular world made in Unreal Engine 5. It has a frenetic and agile combat system, a modest replayability component and a fresh proposal. However, its predictable story, flat characters and the irregular aesthetic presentation end up being a difficult burden to drag. When it shows its best side it is pure fun, but when the action slows down and the dialogues, the exploration of generic areas and the constant updating in the forge begin, it can become repetitive and even tedious.- Malditos Nerds
