    Marvel Rivals is a new highlight in the hero shooter genre. Its gameplay feels familiar, but it's fresh enough to invest a lot of hours with all of its beloved heroes and villains.

    Marvel Rivals feels like the first serious contender to Overwatch's crown; it's a game I can see being a part of my multiplayer rotation indefinitely. And the thing is, Marvel Rivals at launch is just the tip of the iceberg. There are near-endless possibilities for new roster and map additions in the years ahead. Some of the leaked Marvel Rivals characters have me excited about the game's future, and I can't wait to see how it evolves.

    Marvel Rivals is a blast. A well-designed game with love for its characters, settings and universe. Yet, even if these characters mean nothing to you, it still more than satisfies as an incredibly diversified hero shooter experience where you CAN bring a demonic sword to a gunfight!

    Marvel Rivals is an excellent start to what should be a long-running franchise. NetEase has done a great job of proudly using mechanics that are well-known while crafting a uniquely crazy experience all their own. This 6v6 hero shooter/fighter has started from a place of strength. With proper leadership, it should only improve and grow as the years pass this multiverse by.

    Marvel Rivals is not a bad video game, but I think it has much more to offer to the Marvel fan than to the gamer. It takes advantage of all the knowledge of that universe to make a competitive multiplayer experience and in that field it manages to bring the two worlds very close in short, entertaining and dynamic matches.
