    Minecraft Legends is gaming at its best - fun, welcoming, evolving, easy to play but endlessly difficult to master. And best played with friends. You’ll be continuously tested by this game and it takes its forebears’ core mechanics and adds them neatly into a new-but-familiar mix of action and strategy.

    It's worth keeping an eye on, especially for those who are high followers of Pikmin-style titles, which are enjoyable as long as they are played with their respective pause. And as I mentioned, it may even be to the taste of those who are not really interested in the Minecraft that we have known all our lives.

    Strategy games often take themselves way too seriously whereas Minecraft Legends does the exact opposite. It’s an enjoyable, lighthearted hybrid that prioritises exploration as much as tactical battle gameplay. It’s accessible for younger audiences and RTS newbies while still being challenging at later stages in the campaign. The Minecraft Midas touch has turned another genre to gold but a few hiccups mean Legends isn’t quite a diamond.

    Minecraft Legends is a fun and compelling action-strategy game that is well worth checking out. While it does have issues with finicky building controls, wonky mob AI, and a lack of depth for the big strategy heads out there, more casual players will enjoy this one. The campaign doesn’t overstay its welcome, and PvP is a riot with other players, provided you’re in a party chat. If you have kids who are interested in Minecraft, Minecraft Legends is a no-brainer and a great way to introduce them to a new genre.

    Minecraft Legends has good ideas, but it's ultimately held back by the decision to root its strategy action around a central hero. With a limited field of view, few command inputs, and uninteresting AI, Legends fails to generate compelling combat cycles or opportunities for creative thinking.

    Probably the best game of 2023 so far and I'm struggling to find a single legitimate criticism. Its basically a cross between Starcraft and Clash of Clans if you can imagine that. Its real time strategy but without all the individual unit abilities that require micromanaging and 100 clicks per minute like Starcraft so it makes it perfect for console (and people who suck at RTS like me). If you play Clash you probably already know how base defense works in this game and how to protect your resources /home base with various defenses because its the exact same.

    Single player is fun but like all RTS games its basically just the tutorial but with a great story and cutscenes. Especially fun if you just want to chill and build stuff like in regular minecraft.

    Game's updated constantly with new game modes, I'm hoping they add something like Free for All one day but right now its just team battle. There's also a marketplace so creators can add new stuff too not just devs.    … Expand

    I think the more you play the more you understand what the developers want you to experience.
    It's not the best game in its genre but it's a fresh idea that many users
    who have never played an RTS before can experience. I think if you have young children
    it's a good game for them to experience for themselves.

    Un hermoso juego, con mecánicas RTS bastante fáciles de comprender, creo que este juego es un buen comienzo para nuevos jugadores debido a su fácil dificultad que con el paso del tiempo se va aumentando. Historia algo simplona pero entendible, es un juego que no intenta demostrar mucho mas de lo que es, creo que mientras mas lo juegas vas entiendo lo que los desarrolladores quieres que experimentes con el. No es el mejor en su genero pero es una idea fresca que muchos usuarios que nunca han experimentando un RTS podrían jugar sin ningún problema, creo que si tienes hijos pequeños es un buen juego para que ellos experimenten por si mismos un RTS.
