12 Minutes is deliberately obtuse and requires us to use our imagination to the fullest. In the end we are going to take an extremely cloudy, but memorable story, worthy of a Black Mirror chapter, with delicious aesthetic and a handful of decisions that will keep us pondering.- Malditos Nerds

Moments will leave you with a lump in the throat or others that are really funny; brilliant musical sections and realistic and tender romances; tributes to amusement parks and reflections on addiction or on our own fears. Few games know how to navigate that range of emotions so well without getting lost in the attempt. Psychonauts 2 achieves all that and much more.- Malditos Nerds

There are many reasons why Loop Hero is an amazing game, such as the combination of different mechanics from different genres, setting up the road and your camp as if it were a strategy game, building our hero as if it were an RPG and the story, very similar in storytelling to graphic adventures of yesteryear. Bravely Default's old-school influences make it quite a peculiar game. It has an excellent combat system, full of strategies and really charming characters, but the story can be very simple and the mandatory grinding moments extend the game to about 60 hours of which not all are worth it. Empire of Sin wanted to be more than it could be and, although artistically speaking it is beautiful, it fails in many of its systems or by being too simplistic in other aspects. Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions ends up being an unsatisfying game. It's far from the ideal experience and is spiced with various bugs and a poor translation that makes dialogues meaningless. The rest of the content, which adds a correct online mode and a dream team editor, is a nice addition but not enough to carry the weight of all its shortcomings.- Malditos Nerds

Project CARS 3 carries some of the DNA that has defined the series from its origins, but it is also true that, with the change, part of the identity was lost. This is clear because it's fun, it works and fulfills every proposal, but at the same time, it does not change anything nor does it offer something that distinguishes it from the rest of its competitors.- Malditos Nerds

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 could have fallen into easy nostalgia. Instead, it lives up to its name. The attention to detail in the easter eggs, the music selection that respects classics like Guerrilla Radio or Superman, the classic outfits combined with the current look of professional skateboarders, all of this makes this game a remake that understands everything and that even laughs at itself.- Malditos Nerds

Surgeon Simulator 2 takes the concept of the original game and adds a system of first-person exploration and puzzle-solving that may not be everybody’s cup of tea. The surgeries have been simplified to encourage a rather fun multiplayer mode, which nonetheless downplays the single player side of the experience.- Malditos Nerds

The art, the music and the characters are all beautifully composed to deliver a pleasant audiovisual experience, but it's in the gameplay aspect that this game starts to fall apart. No Straight Roads has a lot of ideas, but most of them don't go well with each other, especially in combat, and when they do go well together it can be a bit difficult to understand what's going on on screen.- Malditos Nerds

While playing PGA Tour 2K21, we find a refreshing and complete game; a worthy representative of golf and a great sports game. Beyond the small imperfections, perhaps its main failure is how familiar it feels to those of us who have been playing The Golf Club regularly.- Malditos Nerds

Spiritfarer turned out to be a grand sea adventure of resource management, which added a generous collection of stories through a memorable cast of characters, all of them animated in a most sublime way so to give this game a feeling of pure magic.- Malditos Nerds

With all its small improvements and a lot of content to make, Madden 21 offers a slightly better package than in previous years. However, it does not finish kicking the board or revolutionizing its mechanics; we're still waiting for a football game to blow us away.- Malditos Nerds

Peaky Blinders Mastermind could have been a great prequel and introductory game to the series with good puzzle design or it could have been a great real-time tactics game. But it never made the decision. It is neither one nor the other.- Malditos Nerds

Kill It With Fire manages to make us feel like it's much more than just a mindless game. It doesn't want to change the world neither wants to be more than an excuse to have a good time. If you like this type of hilarious and destructive sandbox, this game is another good candidate to add to your collection.- Malditos Nerds

There are very few reasons to recommend Street Power Football. No aspect of the game really stands out. If you're thrilled to play another FIFA Street, this game isn't representative of that experience either. The worst of all? The game is available at a price of $ 50.- Malditos Nerds

The decisions in many aspects of gameplay are correct for the time and even now, but Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition has some flaws that can't be put aside. It fails to be the cooperative and adventurous Final Fantasy that fans have long sought.- Malditos Nerds

The greatest success of Battletoads is to have understood what it means to revive a franchise like this, which dates back so long: each of the elements were reviewed, polished and recreated with a lot of heart, encouraging new and unknown ideas, always faithful to the original game.- Malditos Nerds

A Total War Saga: Troy, the third game in the series, is the best in all aspects, not only in terms of graphics and technical execution, but also in gameplay and the challenges we encounter during the campaign.- Malditos Nerds

Mortal Shell is the first soulslike to understand the true essence of the genre and, therefore, deserves a place above any other exponent not developed by From Software. Despite its weaknesses, it's one of the most exciting, well executed and beautiful soulslikes I have played in the last decade.- Malditos Nerds
