The Lord of The Rings: Gollum is one of the worst releases in a long time. The game seeks to be a AAA title, but has an unclear direction that makes it an anachronic, riddled with errors and with a mediocre experience for both fans and non-fans of one of the most important IPs of recent times in nerd culture.- Malditos Nerds

Dead Island 2 is the first game on steroids, with all the good and bad that implies. It's a sequel with no risks, which means that those who never fell in love with this kind of game probably won't fall in love with this one either. It doesn't change the formula. The Callisto Protocol is a sublime horror experience in atmosphere and immersion, offering a worthy challenge when it comes to single-enemy combat or against a mini-boss. The problem appears when the hordes arrive: when fighting many enemies, the rough combat mechanics are very noticeable. Drawing on an arsenal of side missions that were already repetitive in 2013, this title is ideal for those who wanted that old GTA experience, but not for those looking for something next gen. Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is clearly a game from another generation. There is a lot here that the series still does well, particularly when it comes to setting and story. However, years don't come alone, and the quality of this remastered, along with the game's control problems of controls, really make the experience less interesting.- Malditos Nerds

House of Ashes is a great interactive adventure and offers a fantastic story, with a great dose of terror and claustrophobia, and also action and some of the best conflicts between characters in the entire anthology.- Malditos Nerds

Riders Republic is a step forward in Ubisoft's sporting open worlds, but we're still far from the best that this sport subgenre can really offer.- Malditos Nerds

Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy is more than pleasant surprise. Even when its combat system doesn't shine, everything is saved by a completely charming story and cast.- Malditos Nerds

Far Cry 6 calls for an urgent change in the series. I'm not sure how much time Far Cry can continue down this path. Patience has already run out: the current approach is tiresome and the next game in the series needs to be a radical change in the way of making an open world, first-person shooter.- Malditos Nerds

Death Stranding: Director’s Cut must have been the original version of a masterpiece that knew how to never leave anybody unmoved, being unique at the same time. For those who have PS5 and have not played Death Stranding, this Director's Cut is a must for their library. But for those who have already played Sam Porter Bridges's story, the incentives to replay this version are not so juicy.- Malditos Nerds

Cris Tales stumbles more than we would like it to. It's a shame because, with some adjustments, the game might have been a true classic.- Malditos Nerds

F1 2021 is not the great evolution or the step forward that we expected. The reasons are in plain sight and neither the context nor what happens depends on Codemasters.- Malditos Nerds
