    Civilization has come a long way over the years. There are so many options in this strategy game, it makes us dizzy. It might be a tough cookie for people that are not familiar with Civ, but for experts this is a near perfect Civilization game.

    WWE 2K17 is not trying hard enough to renew gameplay. It is finally possible to fight outside the ring, and fights with multiple wrestlers seem to work fine, but there are too many bugs and glitches to discourage you from playing.

    Dragon Quest Builders seems to get a lot of "inspiration" from Minecraft, but thanks to the quests this game has a bigger purpose. It is hard to put it down as there is this constant feeling of adventure. Not everything within Dragon Quest Builders is as excellent, but you will definitely get hours and hours of building fun.

    Smarter AI and new gameplay make this new FIFA game a very entertaining soccer game with an excellent balance between spectacular and realistic soccer. There are a few minor errors that hold this game back from being an instant classic, but the addition of The Journey, in particular, makes FIFA 17 worth while.

    The story of the latest Star Wars movie gets retold in the cutest and funniest way thanks to TT Games and LEGO. The new gameplay additions are amazing, like rebuilding LEGO builds to puzzle your way to the next stage. It is so charming, it makes us forget about the technical errors.

    Trials of the Blood Dragon has an awesome style, but it forgets what makes Trials so great. The motor levels are still the best, cause the rest of it is a bit meh. If you really want more Trials, this can be your game, but otherwise you might want to go for something a bit more exciting.

The amazing looking world and the interesting fighting system are not enough: the game is too short, the controls are annoying and the focus is on getting a high score is simply too much. All factions come to life, there are game mechanics that make every race different; they give the game personality. Thanks to the spectacular battles and four strong campaigns, this is the best Total War game we have ever played.

    The slogan 'Fight like Hell' says it all. Doom is brutal, it is quick and it is exactly what Doom was in the 90s. That is a big plus, but also a weakness as id Software simply can't manage to modernize the series. The story is insane, the tempo is odd and shooting gets a bit repetitive.

    The first impressions of Battleborn are disappointing because too many elements are thrown at you in too little time. The story missions seem rushed, but there is still fun in the game, for example when you discover a new tactic via the in-game leveling system. Battleborn has fun to offer, but you have to dig a little to find it.

    Emblem Fates is the most extended game in the series, thanks to three storylines that are a tad cliche. Thankfully the strategic gameplay and complex tactics make up for that, cause this game can pull you in and take tens of hours of your time.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End offers action, humour and gorgeous graphics, combined with new gameplay elements that really feel very natural to the series.     Star Fox Guard has a nice learning curve to get you up to speed about robots, CCTV and mazes. There is a huge variety of enemies and weapons, to keep guarding the Grippy installations fun. That really helps, but only for a while, after playing this game for a while, it does get repetitive.

What is difficult to accept, though, is the repetitive nature of the missions and the brevity of the game. Such a pity, because deep inside this was such a good game with awesome air battles.

    The short and shallow story fails to make Automatron a must-have. Making your own robot is awesome, especially as you can customize it totally to your liking. Automatron is a nice reason to pick up Fallout 4 again, but it is not a totally new experience at all.

    Car enthusiasts do not have to look any further for the best race game of the moment: that would be DiRT Rally. There is so much depth, challenge and sensation in this new Codemasters title, wow. All we want is more tracks and cars.

    There are some cool new features in Rio 2016, for example the costumes in the story mode. The possibilities of 3DS are used as much as possible, which is very fun, especially as the variety in minigames is good. Is it exciting though? Unfortunately not, and there are no online ways of playing, which feels a bit old-fashioned.

    On the New 3DS Hyrule Warriors Legends is a surprisingly entertaining port of the Wii U-game. It misses some detail, but there are new characters and missions to make up for that. The game is still repetitive and on older models the frame rate is very bad, but if you own a New 3DS, this is definitely worth playing.

    The concept of Wondershot is pretty good: you only get one life and one chance to use your gun if you miss target. On the PC it is too bad that the game is very much made for local co-op play, as many home setups do not really allow for more than one person to sit. Plus, Wondershot does not have enough personality to really stick.

    This is a strategic and rhythmic roguelite that offers many hours of entertainment thanks to its randomly generated dungeons, bombastic soundtrack and waves of deadly enemies. Sometimes it seems impossible to really get through the game, but that awesome feeling when you do win, will get you hooked on Crypt of the Necrodancer.

    The Division is more RPG than shooter, but on both parts it is a lot better than expected. At the end of the game, after reaching the level cap (30), the amount of content gets a bit small, but that does not mean we want to stop playing this great game.

It does not matter if you'd rather play on the zombie side or the side of the flowers; both will offer fun new characters that will grant you many hours of multiplayer fun.     The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD might not be the best Zelda, at least it aged well. The HD port is not on all levels equally solid, plus there are not a lot of new features. However, this game still is an amazing adventure that will entertain you for many hours.

There are extra tactical layers added, there is better variation in maps and the game will throw tough choices at you when it comes to your base. An excellent game, and we can only hope it will come to consoles as soon as possible.

    This intense game puts you right in the middle of war but not in the perspective you'd expect. As a civilian you will need to survive, while encountering a lot of emotional issues. The choices you have to make are fascinating all through to the end.
