WRC 2010 seems to be coming back from the dead, at last... Even though some will undoubtedly have trouble getting past its mediocre visuals. Indeed, it's hard not to mention this with GT5 coming up. But despite this less-than average technical side, and lack of weather conditions to spice things up, the game remains fun and consistent in terms of content, modes of play and driving sensations. Its simulation is precise and accessible at the same time, thanks to several settings to choose from. Let's hope next year's edition will correct the visual flaws of this one.

As good as it is bad, Pokemon Violet & Scarlet doesn't do anything lightly. For the first time in the series, we experience a pure freedom. A nice idea, and fair production values, but the global result still is too "straightforward" and brutal, lacking some real strategy elements, and being repetitive. It is funnier in multiplayer, and very affordable, still, so one may give it a look.

Transformers : War for Cybertron is a solid TPS, although a quite straightforward one if you play it alone. Going multiplayer gives it added depth, since using and mixing powers in teamplay make it more interesting to play. Alas, its lack of inspiration in terms of level design, its annoying frame rate issues, improvable story and french voice acting, as well as its average production values and too few multiplayer maps are a disappointment. However, for absolute fans of the franchise, it remains one of if not the best adaptation of the show, giving back their pride to Autobots and Decepticons!

Risen 2 Dark Waters is an OK action RPG, but some of its design choices and several noticeable shortcomings will put the patience of gamers to the test. It may wield them a rewarding experience though, since the power grinding feeling you get when progressing is really exciting. On top of quantity, Mario Party: The Top 100 gathers quality minigames that were wisely chosen, nicely updated and carefully ported to the portable console, although this nostalgic selection also results from the eventual compatibility with the original controls, consequently creating a few issues. Unless they have developed a sudden passion for the hardcore action RPG genre, PC gamers who were not customers of last year edition will not suddenly fall in love with this one. As for Xbox 360 gamers, they can probably consider giving it a chance, now that he does have frame-rate problems anymore and offers nice reworked graphics. Finally, the fans will be delighted for sure by this new, very long campaign.

Tembo is fun, for sure. Fast, addictive, the gameplay is dynamic and powerful. Unfortunately, there are often too many obstacles that slow the pace of the game, and it's quite a shame.

Not many innovations compared to last year's editions. Madden NFL 12 still remains a good simulation with most of what the sports' fans are looking for. With a better implementation of impacts with improved animations and prettier graphics, this version is an honest update of the license, without prompting '11 owners for a necessary purchase. Only beginners will appreciate the Gameflow feature, which improves the accessibility of the game.

This collection offers 3 nice games, but the remaster is visually and technically lazy.

Dragon Age II is blessed with a deep universe and a ton of content, but it's sadly undermined by its technical side. Even though, visually, the game goes beyond the original, it still forgoes some elements of its predecessor in order to become more action-oriented, which is a choice that will most probably keep dividing opinions. We'd have hoped to see this sequel install the franchise as a must-have by correcting the shortcomings of the original. Instead, we'll have to make-do with finding it most entertaining indeed, but without any added praise. Too bad.

Good ol' Crazy Taxi on iOS is based on the original Dreamcast version, complete with the music tracks, Arcade, Original and Crazy Bos modes, and new Game Center features. The touch controls work rather well, even though they are less efficient than your classic controller. Overall, the experience is quite compelling nonetheless.

Harmony of Despair leaves a weird taste in the mouth of a Castlevania fan. It's like a patchwork of gameplays that weren't really supposed to be sewed together for multiplayer, yet that kinda stands upright without us really knowing how. But after hours spent discovering it's "only" 6 castles, all that remains is some tribute Time Attack coop game that isn't quite what we'd have hoped for a Castlevania multiplayer experience.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 is a nice action-RPG that has his flaws and his charms.

Tour de France 2017 is an updated version that is slightly improved from the previous game. The game has too many technical issues to be highly recommended for a wide audience.
