Clearly, DeathSpank's main strength is in its dialog and humor. As an Action RPG, it remains a little too simple to fulfill the needs of hardcore hack'n slash fans, and some game design flaws and ergonomics mistakes render its 10 or so gameplay hours a little bit tedious and less inspired than we'd hoped. It still is a visually charming, point'n click and silly ideas enriched adventure to dive in. Its shortcomings can easily be ignored by those who like games that don't take themselves too seriously, something DeathSpank achieves with flying colors.- Gameblog.fr

The Hong Kong Massacre is the kind of game you'd love to love. It's a very pleasant arcade twin stick shooter that makes us more than efficiently feel like we are in a John Woo movie. Zen Pinball 3D offers four tables to be played : Excalibur, El Dorado, Earth Defense! and Shaman. Too bad those aren't new from the XBLA and PSN versions, and that the comfort of the 3DS screen isn't really one that suits certain camera angles. But the game still remains a good flipper title, with fair visuals, and once its 3D has been tamed, it's a good companion for nomad players who love to get extra balls.- Gameblog.fr

This Metal Gear spin-off surprisingly sets itself between a hardcore survival and a 3D tower-defense game, which will hardly satisfy most gamers. If you survive the initial ruthless hours, you could realize Metal Gear Survive's true potential, delivering a long and tough survival experience. Unfortunately, Konami's greed for micro-transactions breaks the game's balance and is way too prominent to appear as a minor feature.- Gameblog.fr

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is both a fun adventure (especially in couch co-op mode) for fans of Marvel characters and a game that looks like it was made a couple hardware generations ago. FIFA Street's Fifty-Fifty. On one hand, its animations and sound are convincing, but the street soccer sim draws upsides and downsides from FIFA 12's engine, that is less convenient for the numerous contacts of this urban sport. Despite its average production and an obvious lack of ambition, Trinity remains a nice and solid game, one, however, that is closer to a beat'em all like Dynasty Warriors or N3 than to a real action-RPG. Most games of that genre have a tendency to become tedious after some time, and Trinity can be no exception : if you like more subtle and narratively rich games, be warned.- Gameblog.fr

Home design gets even more captivating with the expanded possibilities of this dedicated installment. But such focus on creative freedom induces the withdrawal of some Animal Crossing's fundamental elements, hence shrinking variety, interest and life as a whole in this world. The Unfinished Swan is a nice tale, nicely polished and visually interesting, but the build-up of the story takes too much time for such a short experience, and setting aside the last minutes of play, there isn't really any smart or neat gameplay ideas; others were able to give a more powerful story or experience before it, and it shows.- Gameblog.fr

Gone pretty unnoticed during its first release on the Wii U back in 2015, the title developped jointly by Atlus and Intelligent Systems was and still is a niche game, mainly aimed at both JRPG and J-pop enthusiasts. Blood Stone has been a weird experience for me. Its playability is dynamic but wonky, its production values are really inconsistent, its linearity fades a little when playing in difficult mode, its solo durability isn't so great but its multiplayer remains nice (though not great), and the non-stop action would be charming if there wasn't that repetitiveness. Force Unleashed II isn't a bad game, far from it actually. But its very short adventure, lack of polish, and imprecise gameplay prevent it from being anything more than a cheap steam-venting endeavor. Despite some nice ideas (usually borrowed from the killer apps of the genre, but poorly implemented). From a fan service standpoint, though, it clearly works with customizable light sabers, a ton of alternative badass-looking costumes for Starkiller, and additional challenges to have players compete over the internet.- Gameblog.fr

This DLC comes at the right time for Two Point Hospital, if you've already played it in all directions and if you have three stars on all your hospitals. You must be aware that it is primarily for those who already likes the title of Two Point Studios. Those will not discover major novelties, but a graphic adaptation that sticks to the winter season with the Bigfoot and thirty specific diseases with their new treatments. The three new hospitals to manage (it's a little light) require an adaptation that is not so different from the basic principles. The developers could have been more daring to change the gamers habits a little bit more. In return, we always find the good taste of English humor. "Bigfoot" will not have enough content to keep us going all winter long. We can already count on the next DLC of spring or summer to take us to the beach.- Gameblog.fr

For a first shot at making a TPS game respectful of the original Warhammer 40K license, Relic managed to deliver a nice game. The solo campaign still lacks ambition and tends to choose the easy way over the more varied one, with a 100% action centric gameplay, but its fury and playability still brings a lot of fun. It would have been nice, though, to be able to enjoy a little more in that regard. In terms of multiplayer, Relic did a good job as well, even though only one of the couple of modes wields enough tactical elements to last in the long run. So all in all, it's a nice translation of the license in the TPS genre, but not one that would stand on its own without the rich GamesWorkshop universe.- Gameblog.fr

But despite all that, some mini-games are really fun, like the podracing, the Rancor full-on destruction sequences, or the dancing with Vader. It's a family game, no doubt, and a nicely marketed one, that will probably please its core target. But if you're a demanding Star Wars fan and core gamer, there's nothing here for you.- Gameblog.fr

Rooms: The Main Building had managed to get our attention, but it fails in the end. It's proof that if good ideas are enough to hook the player, they have to be used with ingenuity for him to keep playing. Rooms interesting game design is cursed with a less-than-inspired level design : the lack of challenge nullifies any pleasure one may get in using the items lined-up to solve the riddles of every stage. Too bad, some of the better rooms were a hint as to what that game could have achieved, but didn't.- Gameblog.fr

The House of Wolves is offering PvE content, but without featuring any new Raid. This time Bungie focused on players who likes play alone, or in small groups. That's quite smart after the first DLC. Some will obviously be disappointed by the absence of new raid, but the Prison of the Elders still represents a new way to play that all the PvE players will enjoy.- Gameblog.fr

I am Setsuna is the perfect J-RPG we have all dreamed of when we were 15 years old. In 2016, the game can feel a bit rough on the edge for most of the players. But if you do dare to give it a shot, you will find yourself being part of a wonderful journey filled with amazing battles and great character customization while listening to a marvelous soundtrack.- Gameblog.fr

LawBreakers is far from being a bad multiplayer FPS. It's a fun game with some good ideas, that can entertain you a lot. But there's nothing in it that feels really surprising or more appealing to players that already have plenty of choices in the genre.- Gameblog.fr

Star Fox Guard is a genuine and ingenious new take on tower defense. The asymmetric gameplay increases action with first person shooting, while the tactical side deploys on the GamePad, particularly through the edition of customized troops to battle online. But the progressive expansion of the arsenal, the changes of environment and the special missions don't create enough diversion from the genre's usual repetitiveness.- Gameblog.fr

F.I.S.T. Forged in Shadow Torch first manages to captivate the player for hours thanks to its unique world and lore. Unfortunately, even if we feel that it's able to draw inspiration from the best and proposed a construction overall which inspires respect, it suffers from certain mistakes that cannot be avoided. Misplaced checkpoints, unskippable cut-scenes but above all commands issues certain phases of platform or combat too frustrating. Try if the genre appeals to you, but be warned that this game will not go easy on your nerves.- Gameblog.fr

This is a well remastered compilation of three solid titles. They transitioned pretty well to the HD (and 3D) format, thanks to an artistic direction that didn't try to do too much at the time, with cartoony textures and models. The games themselves have the qualities and shortcomings of the originals. Nonetheless, the relevance of those games compared to the PS3 episodes may be questioned if you're not a die hard fan of the series.- Gameblog.fr

If Mario Kart Live Home Circuit plays well and feels fresh it also has some awkward limitations. First, the connection between the kart and your Switch is too short. Then, if you live in a small flat, it's complicated. Finally, if you plan to play with other people, you have to buy another complete set, as there are no individual karts for sale.- Gameblog.fr

Slightly above average – that's ultimately what My Hero Academia: All's Justice deserves in our opinion. We did have a good time playing it, being fans of the anime, and the game does it justice, even if it's not perfect. It's a far cry from the disaster that was Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash. But to recapture the brilliance and popularity of the Ninja Storm series, they'll need to deliver something much better in the future.- Gameblog.fr

Your typical niche game for those who dig robot combats. The robots are fully customizable, and of course, you can play online... it's deep and rich, even though its production values are clearly less than impressive. The solo campaign is weak, it's really online that its appeal appears.- Gameblog.fr

Riders Republic tries to improve the Steep formula on many levels, but sometimes fails to really find its own way: by constantly soliciting the players with its trials, rewards, gears, modes and extras, Ubisoft Annecy's new formula sometimes forgets to let us enjoy the ride and its vast landscape.- Gameblog.fr
