Did Milestone want to release his Ride 4 absolutely before the end of the year in order to finish the PS4 / Xbox One cycle? No one will probably have the answer in the near future. Still, if the game is improving well on technical aspects (graphics, modeling and AI) it has lost all the mood that its previous opus had managed to generate. It is now a game of motorcycles on circuits that merges into the category.- Gameblog.fr

Developers have put all efforts into making a game that will accompany the players during all summer and even after. Very solid and more profound than it seems, the combat system benefits of dynamic cut scenes during special attacks that make every battle enjoyable. Alas, the first half of the game might seem too bland and the egg searching and hatching concept quite tedious, but there's no doubt that many players will get fun out of it.- Gameblog.fr

Like a herbarium, Hey! Pikmin is a conscientious, wonderful, tactile, yet flat transposition of the series' singular gameplay, mostly preserved along the way. While some depth, even life was lost in the process, this lateral perspective lets Captain Olimar explore the vertical dimension of this feral world rather quietly and cleverly, carrying its delicate ecological message to new heights as well.- Gameblog.fr

With Sea of Thieves, Rare has created the basis for a truly exciting formula. This pirates sand box is simply charming, funny, visually stunning and so original...Unfortunately, it lacks an essential element, namely a sufficient launch content to captivate us at least a few months. Until the first content update in three months, the progression is currently a bit frustrating and repetitive, and many players will probably abandon ship earlier than expected.- Gameblog.fr

Tennis World Tour 2 may look like a simple update, but proves to be a really deep overhaul, both from a qualitative and quantitative point of view. That translates into a much punchier feel with a more authentic rendering overall, thanks to a subtle management of timing and faults. While some lingering assistance still generates imprecision, filling such loopholes surely belongs to Big Ant's work. The Australian studio thus shaped the best tennis simulation on current consoles at least, because of far more experienced competitors on PC. Hence Nacon can develop legitimate eSports ambitions, as long as it stands away from balance or greedy issues through an artificial cards system for instance.- Gameblog.fr

With Assasin's Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft tries to synthesize a decade-long series, thanks to clever adjustments on its RPG rhythm. With a brilliant lightning, the game visually stands out, but sometimes fail to really follow on its technical part, with messy AI and way too many loading times which can break the momentum of the adventure. Rich, dense, but also time-consuming, Assassin's Creed Valhalla still offers a good run, thanks to its historical setting and beautiful landscapes.- Gameblog.fr

Orwell's Animal Farm is a pleasant mix of Visual Novel and management experience, with some lovely visuals, music and a very good narrator. The fact that it allows you to retell the story is interesting. Iridium Studios makes a striking comeback with People of Note. While the game isn’t quite perfect and could do with a little more spice in its gameplay, it shows real boldness and completely captivates with an art style that fully embraces its concept. The combat system could have used even more polish to make it more engaging. On the other hand, we’re treated to a heartfelt adventure—somewhat clichéd, but well worth checking out.- Gameblog.fr

It is now a constant, with Arkanoid Eternal Battle, Pastagames offers a very nice reinvention of a great video game classic. Those who in their younger years broke bricks so that the little ship Vaus could carry out its mission will find their 1986 game as if they were in a game center, in addition to a Neo mode that brings enough novelties and good ideas to boost interest. Finally, the Battle Royale, a great novelty here, fits perfectly to Taito's cult title, especially when the whole is supported by visuals and electro-futuristic music of the best effect.- Gameblog.fr

As expected from Big Ant, AO Tennis 2 looks more like a big update of the previous version than a brand new episode, and once again largely relies on the community to complete the content. While still lacking some tennis expertise, the australian studio managed to optimize the gameplay, that finally shows its potential full of delicacy - in every sense of the word. The main additions focused on immersion emphasize this laudable quest for authenticity, although their rather limited impacts tend to exhibit the superficial side of this production, yet unfinished, but built on solid bases.- Gameblog.fr

Batman: The Telltale Series Episode 5 gives players a satisfying ending to its first season. There are cool action scenes, each story arc gets its conclusion and the door is left open for a season 2. We just just wish the game had gone full "Bruce Wayne simulator" and had made players struggle to keep Bruce's super hero identity a secret. Also, it's high time Telltale fixed its games' technical issues. An adventure game in which almost half the lines aren't translated is just bad show.- Gameblog.fr

Carried by the Layton family's experience in mystery, Katrielle starts her detective career with modern resolutions, such as the episodic investigation proceedings. But the cases and their protagonists ultimately lack depth, while the whole plot looks like a long introduction. King of Meat is undeniably one of the pleasant surprises of 2025. The game glows with contagious cheerfulness, so essential to party games. It offers a cooperative experience in a crazy setting, promising great runs with friends. The bold artistic direction is quite appealing, while its TV show concept has real long-term potential, as long as both the audience and the studio are invested. Despite gameplay that could be improved and an imaginative richness that struggles to fully translate into the environments, the challenge for Glowmade will be to offer content that is captivating enough to interest players and convince them to make the purchase, despite a price that is likely to be a barrier to entry, even for the curious.- Gameblog.fr

Between the walking simulator, and the video game experience, Lake is a contemplative title that takes advantage of rather well-written characters, and a system of dialogues enough impacting for us to think about the meaning of life and its priorities. No choice is better than the other, which means that the title really lets us choose what we want, without it having a positive or negative impact on the gaming experience. The sublime artistic direction, the incredible landscapes, and the chill soundtrack are a perfect setting for such a reflection. Lake could almost be reimbursed by social security because its soothing virtues are numerous. Unfortunately, a few bugs tarnish the picture, while we admit to having trouble releasing the 20 € requested for 6 hours of play, with very low replayability. In short, hop on Lake in a few months, after a few patches, and during a promo.- Gameblog.fr

The Metal Gear Master Collection Vol.1 is nothing less than the ultimate compilation for all fans of the license. As its name suggests, it is only the first part of a collection, and therefore does not include all the games in the franchise. Nevertheless, it allows fans and the curious to play the first 5 games, notably MGS 1, 2 and 3, the triplet released on PS1 and PS2. Legendary episodes that, in essence, haven't aged a day, but which in form still show their age. If nostalgia speaks to you, if you're a hyper-fan or if you've had the audacity to miss out on the Metal Gear license, now's the time. On the other hand, don't expect anything more than simple ports and a ton of digital goodies that will only speak to lovers of the franchise. If you were hoping for remasters worthy of the PS5 or remakes, you'll have to wait for MGS Delta (3 remake), which will arrive much later.- Gameblog.fr

Doing better than FIFA 21 was inevitable for FIFA 22. And the task has been accomplished, between a pleasant interface to handle, an ever more addicting Ultimate Team mode and more defensive gameplay this time around. But some flaws persist, others have emerged and overall the container remains the same from year to year. If EA has made the choice to reform the form this season, and under conditions that the patches improve and do not destroy what has been put in place, the developer will have to urgently look at the substance, which needs to be fleshed out.- Gameblog.fr

Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Definitive Edition is a good way to (re)discover three legendary titles of the PS2 era. They're the same and yet very different in terms of visuals. But it's not really 100% good and even on PS5, it struggles to deliver a totally smooth experience. Not to mention that they feel a bit old if you talk about gameplay. Still effective, but be prepared.- Gameblog.fr

With its lovely visuals, grim atmosphere, compelling story and well-crafted system of choices that makes us go for more after the first run, Tokyo Dark is game that's worth the try.- Gameblog.fr

Syberia Remastered is definitely faithful to the spirit of the original version. Although this new version includes some welcome modernizations, it builds on the foundations of the 2002 title to bring players today a cult French point-and-click adventure story. However, it's a shame that Microids didn't take the step of remaking the game to push the concept further and perhaps avoid some of the clunky mechanics and technical flaws. Nevertheless, the game remains sincere and offers a nostalgic journey that is still worth checking out in 2025.- Gameblog.fr

Wii Party U features a generous amount of simple and varied minigames, just - if not exactly - like its predecessor. The GamePad introduces some clever ideas through the tabletop and asymmetrical house games, but those possibilities are not implemented as well into the board games, where the Wiimote remain the main tool to interact with the TV. Therefore, this Wii U version is more an addition than a real evolution.- Gameblog.fr

Chivalry 2 is an enjoyable experience. The fun is omnipresent, and you can feel the mastery of your character and your weapon during all your progression. Unfortunately, many bugs (completely broken social system and multiple crashes) destroy the experience. Wait for a patch.- Gameblog.fr

Through the Darkest of Times is a fantastic proposition and very much a necessary game to understand what it could have been like being a German, a human being, during these terrible years. Even if gameplay mechanics fall short, it's still very recommandable for anyone who needs a reminder and/or is interested in History.- Gameblog.fr

Mario Tennis Fever marks the franchise's triumphant return on the Nintendo Switch 2. Camelot and Nintendo deliver a fun, family-friendly installment designed for short, accessible play sessions for all ages. From the matches and mini-games to the animation and the integration of the frenetic tennis rackets, everything is geared towards simple entertainment. However, this casual approach comes at the expense of a genuine challenge. The overly forgiving AI and the lack of real difficulty in any game mode will push players more towards multiplayer. But even then, the title will appeal more to those seeking fun and social experiences than to hardcore competitors.- Gameblog.fr

Golf Peaks is the very same game which came out on any mobile phone store back in 2018. Without any new addition, Afterburn's puzzle game still delivers quite a dozen of pleasant challenges, thanks to its Joy-Con or touchscreen controls. Unfortunately, the game's difficulty remains unchanged, and those golf puzzles will be done in no time, leaving the player wanting for way much more.- Gameblog.fr

A lovely but not flawless start. With some familiar elements and new additions that can make it feel quite fresh, this first episode shows some great potential, in terms of possibilities and challenges, for what's to come. But beware of its awkward AI and loading times that can really, really be boring. Some things never change, one would say.- Gameblog.fr

Warhammer Age of Sigmar Realms of Ruin stands out for its visual quality and immersion in the Warhammer universe, with a nice narrative single-player campaign and notable accessibility for new players. The lack of content could impact the game's longevity.- Gameblog.fr

Warriors Orochi 3 for Wii U is graphically a little below the PS3 and 360 versions, and the new content is not so great, but it is still very good and offers a coop mode in which each player plays on his own screen (TV/GamePad), which is a good addition.- Gameblog.fr

Burnout Paradise Remastered is a lazy portage of his illustrious elder. If we are happy to have the most complete version here, we can only regret that there has not been some modifications to the ergonomics of the title. At this price we have the most beautiful and the most complete version of a game that has 10 years of age on its gameplay (which is excellent, as we already know).- Gameblog.fr

Wrestling fans will have a good time playing WWE 2K17. 2K allows gamers to play the game the way they want to play it and gives them a lot of tools to create almost anything they want. Unfortunately, the game is also held back by an outdated engine that desperately needs to be retired. And what happened to the 2K Showcase?- Gameblog.fr

More than a game, Separation is a poignant testimony entirely conceived and developed by a single man, bruised and suffering from depression following the loss of a loved one.
