   Have in mind that this is a continuation of the psp game Fate/Extra, and the story is completely based on the idea that you have played it. They make very little effort in explaining how the Fate world works, or what is the Seraph or the actions and relationships between the characters before this title, because all of that is explained in Fate/Extra. This game is it's own story, that expands on the Fate universe, and relies on knowledge of it. In fact there's a lot of "fanservice" in regard of the characters who appear, who come from other Type moon works like Fate stay night, Fate apocrypha or Fate Zero, so be advice that you need AT LEAST to play Fate extra before playing this game. Other Fate works are recommendable, but not strictly necessary.
   
   Having that in mind, the game is as good as any other Fate title. A complex and elaborate story, that appears simple and "shonen-like" at the begining, even seems to have plot holes, but then everything branches out and is explained to the most minimum detail when you advance to other routes.
   
   The game is divided by routes that you play in order, begining with Red Saber, the "easy mode" of the game, through a series of musou like battles with thousands of enemies and explosive skills. The difference with other musou games is that here you win or lose depending on the zones you control and quests you complete, and the enemy IA does a good job at taking them from you when you're not present, so even if you are at some point incredibly powerfull you still lose because you have not done a good strategy on what zones to pick, generals to kill or quests to complete, which makes the game very exciting.
   
   Before and after each battle you'll have extensive dialogues between the characters advancing the story, with the same japanese voice cast as the original games/animes, and beautiful music, that makes for an amazing experience.
   
   For me the game has very few flaws, but if i had to name some for other people, be adviced that there's A LOT of dialogue, and the story will require your attention to not get lost, or to understand all of the details, specially if you don't know much about the Fate universe. I say this because shonen fans are usually drawn to this saga attracted by the prospect of battles between heroes, only to flee in panic when they find out a story much more complex of their usual Narutos.… Expand

Fate / Extella sentiu-se como o que se poderia esperar de um híbrido dos dois gêneros, o combate acelerado com momentos prolongados de indulto para melhor compreender a história. Do ponto de vista do jogo Fate, a própria história contém os três E's que fizeram da franquia a série de sucesso que é: sedutora, elaborada e agradável em geral. De um ponto de vista de Musou jogos, Fate / Extella incorpora o clássico hack-n-slash tipo de combate que é comumente encontrado dentro dos títulos desenvolvidos por Koei Tecmo. Embora a lista em si é significativamente menor do que a maioria dos títulos Musou no PS4, cada personagem jogável possui seu próprio flare que os distingue de seus companheiros de serviço.
   
   Em termos de jogo, como mencionado anteriormente segue o clássico hack-n-slash do gênero Musou de jogos, mas com a sua própria torção de mecânica especial e características que claramente separá-lo de seus parentes distantes. Os próprios gráficos não são nada para se gabar, mas a vibração dos tons de cor ea configuração única de cada estágio mais do que maquiagem para isso. No que diz respeito ao jogo real, há uma coisa que este jogo falta que pode ou não pode virar aqueles que procuram um tempo divertido com os amigos, que é o co-op de dois jogadores ou melhor falta deles. Isso mesmo, não há nenhuma forma de multiplayer neste jogo e do ponto de vista de um desenvolvedor, eu posso entender por quê. Para ser capaz de imergir o jogador em uma história única que gira inteiramente em torno do "destino" do protagonista, seria mais benéfico para se concentrar na experiência single player como este jogo em seu núcleo, é Fate.
   
   Com isso dito Fate / Extella incorpora vários elementos dos romances visuais, como ter prolongado momentos de diálogo entre o protagonista e outros personagens do jogo. Embora as interações em si não tenham quase tanto impacto como fizeram na VN, isso não descarrilar o enredo global do jogo em si. As conversas entre o jogador e os personagens são suficientes para trazer uma melhor compreensão da história para aqueles que estavam procurando o tipo clássico de novela visual da jogabilidade que a série Fate é conhecida, enquanto a ação rápida é suficiente para manter Você investiu em jogar as batalhas por horas.
   
   Quando tudo é dito e feito, Fate / Extella certamente traz uma história excepcionalmente brilhante que é apoiada pelo tipo de hoje de ritmo rápido estilo hack-n-slash de jogo que muitos jogadores têm vindo a desfrutar ao longo dos anos. O jogo em si está faltando em várias partes (uma lista modesta, gráficos médios, escolhas de diálogo sem sentido, e etc), mas com o que poucos recursos e apoio os desenvolvedores XSEED tinha, eles foram capazes de produzir algo agradável para o povo.    Ten en cuenta que esta es una continuación del juego de PSP Fate / Extra, y la historia está completamente basada en la idea de que la has jugado. Hacen muy poco esfuerzo en explicar cómo funciona el mundo de Destino, o lo que es el Seraph o las acciones y relaciones entre los personajes antes de este título, porque todo eso se explica en Fate / Extra. Este juego es su propia historia, que se expande en el universo de Destino, y se basa en el conocimiento de la misma. De hecho hay un montón de "fanservice" en lo que respecta a los personajes que aparecen, que vienen de otros tipos de luna funciona como Fate stay night, Fate apocrypha o Fate Zero, por lo que el consejo que necesita al menos para jugar Fate extra antes de jugar este juego. Otros trabajos del Destino son recomendables, pero no estrictamente necesarios.
   
   Teniendo esto en mente, el juego es tan bueno como cualquier otro título de destino. La diferencia con otros juegos de musou es que aquí se gana o se pierde dependiendo de las zonas que controlas y de las misiones que completas, y el IA enemigo hace un buen trabajo al tomarlas de ti cuando no estás presente, así que incluso si estás en Un punto increíblemente poderoso que todavía pierdes porque no has hecho una buena estrategia en qué zonas elegir, generales a matar o misiones para completar, lo que hace que el juego muy emocionante.
   
   Antes y después de cada batalla tendrás diálogos extensos entre los personajes que avanzan la historia, con el mismo elenco de voz japonés que los juegos / animes originales, y la hermosa música, que hace que una experiencia increíble.
   
   Para mí el juego tiene muy pocos defectos, pero si tuviera que nombrar algunos para otras personas, se advierte que hay MUCHO diálogo, y la historia requerirá su atención para no perderse, o para entender todos los detalles, especialmente Si usted no sabe mucho sobre el universo de Destino. Digo esto porque los fans shonen suelen ser atraídos por esta saga atraídos por la perspectiva de las batallas entre los héroes, sólo para huir en pánico cuando se enteran de una historia mucho más compleja de sus habituales Narutos.

   Please be noted that this is a 10 if you are a Fate Extra fan and/or a fan of Musou games.
   For those who aren't, this game will make you a believer and that's why I am rating this a 9.
   If you have never tried either the Musou genre or the Fate series, this game is one that brings the best of both worlds into a clever and well done way.
   
   Notes:
   I am not a big fan of Musou games although I have played plenty of them before from the Warrior games, Hyrule Warriors, Senran Kagura series, a few anime ones like Bleach/One Piece/Naruto, etc. and this game is easily one of the best out of them all, for a variety of reasons.
   
   Story:
   You are a master that is called into a war on the Moon Cell (a type of digital area/world) and although this is a sequel, this game also lays down all of the information that you need to understand the game quickly and in a direct manner.
   
   Gameplay:
   The gameplay is swift, fast and fresh.
   Although it does have a similar gameplay of other Musou games in which you must fight a variety of lower enemies and a boss at times, it also introduces a few things into the formula to make sure that it keeps the action going.
   Each character is treated in a different way in play style and they each have their own strengths.
   You can change your skills for your servant and as a master, making the character fit to your preference. This causes a great degree of flexibility of how you play your game and although the game starts out with a limited amount of characters at your disposal, you will gain more as you progress through the story.
   The use of power up modes, of specials, of certain missions and objectives, of moves that can hit all characters on the field, etc. are things that are taught clearly in the beginning and those that are new will be exposed later on in the story.
   All of this causes an enjoyable gameplay experience.
   
   Music:
   While the music is decent, the library is lacking which is one of the only issues I would have with the game.
   
   Graphics:
   The visuals are great, overall. The action, the characters, the cutscenes, etc.
   The enemies leave a bit to be desired (the grunts) but considering that the visuals are well done for the enemies that matter, then it isn't an issue.
   Overall, it is impressive compared to most musou games.
   
   Writing:
   The writing is gorgeous and is full of the character that the Fate series is known for.
   It portrays their stance rather well and is always an enjoyable experience to read.
   Further boosting this is excellent voice acting in the battle and in the writing (although it is in Japanese).
   
   Story:
   I consider writing to be different from story as a great story told poorly can ruin the experience.
   On the other hand, a poor story told with great writing can make an adventure.
   In this case, the story is average and nothing too special but considering that this is a musou game, this is a bonus as the norm is to be below average.
   
   Replayablity:
   Although there isn't a ton of replay ability after you are done everything, the game gives you a great experience for the time that it does which would be about 25-30+ hours.
   
   Overall, I strongly recommend Fate Extella for anyone that is wanting to have an enjoyable experience with a Musou game or a Fate game at an entry level!
   For all of you Fate or Musou fans, this is a fantastic game that is well worth your money!… Expand

   This is one of those games i didn't expect much from, but after finishing the game i love it. At the start the story seems kind of well muddled but after unlocking and playing the other paths you will say oh now i get it. the story is the strong part of the game with its tale of not wanting to do what you where born to do. the hack and slash gameplay is fast and fun. and the fact theirs a little romance is a nice touch. come into this game with no expectations, and you will be rewarded with a fun hack and slash with an actually touching story that left me on the verge of tears a couple of times.… Expand

No conocemos los personajes ni sus historias, y el título no se toma la mas mínima molestia en hacerlo tampoco.
   
   Sin embargo, como musou funciona bastante bien, y aunque no se encuentre entre los mejores ejemplos de este género, sus batallas resultan muy dinámicas y entretenidas, apoyadas por un notable apartado artístico.
   
   Sumarle a eso contenido para aburrir y un largo modo historia con varias vertientes. Eso si, si no os atrae el género musou ni os acerquéis a el, ya que encontrareis un título excesivamente repetitivo, poco original y con una historia que entiende el que la escribió y dando gracias.… Expand

   This seems to have been made for huge fans of the Fate series. This game didn't have much for me.

   As a non-fan, the story made no sense. It's full of nonsensical terms for nearly everything and everyone has multiple names. It does include an encyclopedia, but I chose not to use my brain storage space for this nonsense. I eventually came to the conclusion that everyone in the game simply wants to fight everyone else for territory, and to be the ultimate winner. But that's obscured by loads of mystical prophecy-like nonsense and verbal grandstanding that would put actual royalty to shame.
   
   For most of the story, that's what you'll be dealing with, though I found something to like in Altera's story. For the most part, she doesn't participate in the grandstanding has a very interesting issue to deal with. And she deals with it in such a strange way that I couldn't help but to be intrigued. Her story ultimately doesn't reach a grand revelation (to me, at least), but at least it was interesting enough to get me to stop skipping the dialogue sections.
   
   Speaking of bad dialogue, your character's dialogue (which is separate from the players you can control) is by far the worst. The game takes a feelings approach to your character, so it's constantly telling you how you feel and what's in your head. It's too bad your character is a dumb teen.. So unless you're ready to be bombarded with dumb teen thoughts, I recommend that you skip all of your dialogue. I found that the story was much more palatable when pretending my character was a silent protagonist.
   
   This is a Warriors style game, and not a very good one. Recently, I've played Warriors All Stars, Dragon Quest Heroes, and Senran Kagura Estival Versus. Fate Extella is by far the worst of these from a gamplay perspective. It's simply basic. You don't have many attack options, there's little variety in the characters, and the enemies are outright boring.
   
   For the enemies, you've got the single fodder type. They're much weaker than those in other games in this genre, so they're mostly meaningless. Then there's the stronger enemies that you must kill to take over an area. These are just bigger and have more hit points. And then there's the playable characters, who come to fight you occasionally. They have loads of hit points and are the only real threat to you, meaning that you might need to look for a healing item sometimes when fighting them.
   
   Gameplay is very button-mashy. You'll go into an area, mash square and triangle until everything's dead and then go to another area. There's no environmental tools/threats, interesting skills, or level variety. Though it is flashy, so at least the people who are watching will think you are skillful.
   
   Unlockables are disappointing. You unlock most other characters by simply beating story mode, and then there's one secret character to unlock by doing some annoying nonsense that you must look up outside of the game to figure out. Most characters get an additional costume, normally for beating their side-mission, with a few of the girls getting more than one. As for the rest of it, well, I hope you like buying DLC.
   
   Character models are not very good. I came into this thinking that if the story and gameplay were no good, at least I'd get some nice-looking models to look at... They're not good and appear to be taken straight from the Vita version.
   
   So I was a bit bored and disappointed with the game. But if you're a Fate fan or are looking for a basic Warriors game, it might be worth a try.… Expand
