   An enjoyable social media "game." One that has that classic sense of Nintendo originality to make it all the more charming. Given that is moreAn enjoyable social media "game." One that has that classic sense of Nintendo originality to make it all the more charming. Given that is more on the social media side of things there isn't much actual gameplay. The enjoyment comes from the unique way you can interact with others. So the more people you connect with the better Miitomo is.
   
   It's all about answering questions about yourself and reading other people's answers. It's a pretty clever way to share your interests while learning about your friends and/or family. It doesn't sound like much and to be honest it really isn't. However Nintendo is able to add a sense of fun to it all and throw in some rewards to make it worthwhile.
   
   You can also deck out your Mii with some new gear. You can import your Mii from your other Nintendo systems by linking your Nintendo account or make a new one just for the game. Either way it's entertaining to interact with your (fully voiced) virtual doppelganger.
   
   Another exciting thing about Miitomo is the potential is has. Nintendo has the power to expand upon it in interesting ways and I really hope they do so. Possibly with integration to their future games and the upcoming NX.
   
   While this sort of limited social media design might not appeal to everyone, the free-to-play model makes it at least worth a look. With some work on Nintendo's part this could end up being Facebook-lite for Nintendo fans. As it stands now it's a fun diversion. One worth checking out and has the potential to keep you coming back even in it's current state. I can't wait to see where they take things from here.… Expand

   OK if you're used to mobile games like Clash of Clans which is of course, fun, purposeful and highly involving, then Miitomo will be on theOK if you're used to mobile games like Clash of Clans which is of course, fun, purposeful and highly involving, then Miitomo will be on the other end - boring, random and nothing much to do. Otherwise it's an OK start for Nintendo's first go at mobile "gaming" if you could even call it that. I haven't written this off, but Nintendo will need to make get players more involved with more content and purpose before I feel satisfied with Miitomo. OK first effort.… Expand

   First Nintendo app so, everything can't be perfect in here. It is a simple social media attempting to make you know better your friends, in which it does ok, also it is very funny to take pictures and make memes or anything you want with it, which is an unexpectedly enjoyable feature, the amount of costumes and outfits is right, and increasing day by day, which is always excellent.
   
   Bad thing is it lacks other activities, being the pseudo-crane game the only one to get special items, or the crappy candies most of the time; I think the game needs serious content updates to provide more minigames to make it more entertaining, also a way to customize your room would be really appreciated, since it seems like a lost feature rather than intended in that way.
   
   So, if you don't have many friends to add, this app will bore you pretty quickly, otherwise, you will find a funny app to share photos and comments on your friends.… Expand

The way you "play" this app is very awkward and annoying. The game is centred around a Mii you created yourself, you must look after and give it new clothes and accessories, kind of like Tomodachi Life. But unlike Tomodachi Life this game completely rips it off from every design and detail. Not to mention the new features are terrible. The happy,quirky,funny Miis that you know for Tomodachi Life are now united and replaced with annoying, giddy and obnoxious characters that constantly ask you pointless questions every minute!!!!! One thing I will give credit to is that it at least tries something a bit more new that no other Mii game has done before. Miitomo tries to be a "social" app like Instagram or Snapchat with it's 12+ rating but fails completely. The new mini-games are ridiculous and pointless. This game admittedly is the weakest of the Mii franchise. If you looking for a cool virtual pet or social media app it's best recommended to stay away from this one. … Expand
