    Legacy of the First Blade: Hunted is a brief but welcome new slice of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey that sets the stage for the more traditional Assassins-versus-Templars-style micro-drama that was mostly missing from the base game. Though it's isolated to a single region and only gives you a handful of targets, an intriguing villain and the backstory of new characters sets a good foundation for more Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – which is always a good thing.

    The added lore is a welcome addition in the episode but what Hunted boils down to is this: if what you want is to spend three more hours doing the same things you did for sixty hours, then Legacy of the Lost Blade’s first episode is a success on all fronts.

    With a scenario designed for an episodic release and a bit of fan service, this first DLC is a good way to continue the adventure of Odyssey, even if the region of Macedonia is already known to us.

    Assassin's Creed Odyssey: Legacy of the First Blade - Episode 1: Hunted is a solid starting point for what could turn out to be an interesting story. While the DLC doesn't bring anything new to the table in terms of gameplay variation, it does provide a well made slice of open world adventuring, complete with some thoughtful character moments. It goes without saying, but if you're a fan of Odyssey, then you're going to enjoy Hunted.

    With this new Assassin's Creed Odyssey storyline, the player is pleased to meet those who are not the Assassins yet, but still use their hidden blade. This very short DLC is filled with interesting characters, but the lack of brand new mechanics at this stage should make you wait until the release of all the three episodes to buy this DLC.

    If, like me, you’ve become enamored of this brassy game, Legacy of the First Blade is a pleasing slice of extra stuff. For a short time, it threatens to say something vital about games, heroism and violence. I take this as a good sign for the future of this form of entertainment, and as a frustrating demonstration of its present limitations.

    The first episode of this "Legacy of the First Blade" DLC has a different opinion depending of the point of view of the story. About this new "Order" and the new characters are a good addition to the story, they can continue Mysthios's Odyssey and her/his peaceless life. Also, the election of the Macedonia region as the center of the story is a good decision, the long travels were getting bored. But the addition of this forced romanced story was the bad side of this DLC. I hope in the next DLC's will make the story more deep.    … Expand

    So lets talk a little bit about this DLC now. Its pretty short, it contains few new characters and new enemies from Persia.
    It also contains one new ability, but that is all what is interesting about this.
    Plot is kinda interesting, but it took me only two hours to finish it, so i was kinda dissapointed.

    I´ll rate it 5/10... its not good enough. Lets see if other episodes will be better.    … Expand

In general I expected that will explain from where in general the hidden blade who such these Persians and has all this what relation to an original game undertook. I was not given anything new, just filled out the empty and dead map of Macedonia with game activities. The only plus - final fight with the leader of a branch of their Award Ancient.
    The ending so in general finally bores, again nothing was told and suggested to pass the 2nd episode.    … Expand

    Gay RPG players beware that your eagle bearer might act out of character regarding an implied forced hetero romance and a normal life with a child.
    This definitely is going to happen in episode two. I just have been forced to play through this last night, despite luring you into a safe feeling that you can avoid this with the dialogie options.
