How did Ubisoft manage to take 6 months to port the PS3/X360 versions of Watch Dogs onto the Wii U? A very long wait that's justified by nothing when we see the low quality of the graphics and the lack of improvements whatsoever. It might be worth a try to those who only own a Wii U and hence will never experience GTA 5.

Most likely developed during Ubisoft Montreal's coffe breaks, Tetris Ultimate is quite a bad game. With 4 pitiful game modes and a limited appeal, the games is a cheap ripoff of Tetris DS that came out in 2006. The Mii's become endearing with time and classic scenes of life come alive in a very smart way. It's always getting funnier and offers some great moments, but we can't ignore the lacking elements that make Tomodachi only a challenger.

Transistor is a pretty nice experience in a matter of atmosphere, with a gorgeous visual style and an absolutely terrific soundtrack. But when it comes about gameplay, the frustration isn't far away. The mix of A-RPG and strategy is smart and it works quite well, but you barely enjoy playing. Strange.

Watch Dogs has had a lot of adverts revolving around the promise for some crazy unseen next gen’ graphics. But if Ubisoft’s title is not the eye-watering masterpiece we were sold for the last two years, it easily makes up for that with gameplay that cleverly mixes action, stealth and hacking. Actually the whole structure of the game was built around this balance and the result is a success. As a matter of fact we would have enjoyed a more intriguing plot, a more charismatic hero and a bit more depth in the story. But open-world game fans will find some satisfaction in the huge amount of content and a well-integrated multiplayer mode. Some game design choices can be weird (no jump, impossible to shoot while driving, or disappointing close combat animations), but for a first try, Ubisoft Montreal’s team has done it well. Overall, among the GTA competitors, Watch Dogs is the most serious one.

Tropico 5 is a good niche game, well into the series but without any revolution. The small evolutions are enough to justify the buy from a fan of the IP, but most gamers that want to discover a dictator's life will be better off with Tropico 4 which you can find with all DLC for less money. On the other hand, if you do want to try ruling the island with friends, there should be no hesitation: you need to get the last game of the Tropican dynasty.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is a successful comeback for Bethesda's IP. With an interesting plot, a caricature side and very old-school gameplay which brings back memories of id Software's hours of fame with the like of Doom and Quake, a masterpiece of a casting, MachineGames's new FPS has it all, or almost. We regret a story that's a bit short. Overall Wolfenstein: The New Order is a very good game, that fits well in it's family tree, and it's great fun to play.

We don't know yet if Mario Kart 8 will help Nintendo to sell millions of Wii U's, but it's the game you must absolutely have on this console. Everything's in it: good rhythm, more than precise gameplay, crazy items, some well thought new tracks and a very solid online mode. If Mario Kart 8 is not really the best installment in the series, it's only because there is a lack of gamble in its gameplay.

Let's be realistic: Spiders ain't Bioware and Bound By Flame is not Dragon Age. But the french studio tries it's hardest and gives us a quite hard RPG, far from the mainstream easiness of games. Each fight is an adventure, you better be a fan of Dark Souls than Super Mario RPG to enjoy that game. Anyway, you will have to close your eyes on some real flaws (weird level design, poor AI, boring script..) Happily, Bound By Flame is coming at a time where RPG are quite rare. If Spider's game won't replace Dragon Age Inquisition or Risen 3, it can be a way to wait until those latest editions come out.

After a Yoshi's New Island we found a bit dull, and a very fun Mario Golf : World Tour, Nintendo hits a soft spot with Kirby Triple Deluxe, a real Best of the best from the small pink bubble. Graphically seducing, Hal Laboratory's tittle shines with it's addictive gameplay which uses Kirby's numerous powers, but also thanks to the changing grounds making the 3D use a must. Truly enjoyable, Kirby Triple Deluxe could have been perfect with a bit more risk-taking, instead of using game mechanics already seen numerous times. But the real drawback it that almighty feel you get while facing enemies, and the fact that the game is way too easy to provide a real challenge. We'll dry our tears with the truckload of unlockable bonuses that gives a good replay value. A game not to be missed if you like platformer games or are a Kirby fan.

When you know a bit about soccer you can't help but notice Nintendo Pocket Football Club is littered with flaws, making that game unappealing to soccer fans. The game is way too easy to enjoy your team boss role. ParityBit's game still offers an easy approach to the sport making it a good choice for newbies to the sport.

The Witch & The Hundred Knight is one of a kind, it's a title which tries to do something different in the very tight and narrow hack'n slash style. Nippon Ichi has made the choice of an hybrid gameplay, more tactical than you think and it can be a true strength. But the lack of rhythm in the narration and a very annoying camera, among other faults, make it just a little more than average.

Octodad: Dadliest Catch may not be a triple A game, but Young Horses have been smart enough to make it catchy, with a particularly endearing hero. Unfortunately, Octodad suffers from an imprecise gameplay, a sometimes crazy camera and approximative collisions. It remains a good experience, maybe too expensive though.

How hard it is to judge this cross-media experience. It's an unbalanced mix between four amazing short animation films, whom half have been made by Japanese masters, and one of the worst games of this year. Ranko Tsukigime’s Longest Day is a visual failure with a more than simple and unpleasant gameplay. Even with an hour of game, travel across ten levels without any satisfaction or any feeling that you're moving forward is a huge frustration. The short films save its fate.

Specially made for YouTube and Twitch, Daylight carries the legacy of Slenderman and Amnesia. Dark visuals, first person view without any form of self-defense, gloomy and nerve-racking atmosphere: everything's in it. Among all those banalities, Daylight has something very uncommon: the random generated levels, which is the strength and the weakness of this game, as it can't be fully mastered from a rhythm point of view.

Child of Light is beautiful, amazing, poetic, deeper than you think on several points and cheap. This game is a fresh breeze as well as a mastered project. It may look like a childish title, but it's not, even if it can talk to your inner 5-year-old girl/boy. If you're an RPG lover, go for it. If you're an indie lover, go for it. If you're just a player, go for it.

Fans of Versus Fighting or 2D fighting games in general, do not miss the gem called Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle, even if you don't know a thing about the series or the manga. Like Street Fighter 4, CyberConnect2's title will appeal to newbies and veterans alike thanks to its arcade stick and its smooth gameplay, but it's also filled with subtleties that require skill if you get into it. Top all this with brilliant direction (awesome graphics) and a base roster of 32 characters with many interesting game modes (besides the useless campaign mode which has a despicable business model) and you'll get an explosive mix. A very nice game to pick up while waiting for Ultra Street Fighter IV, set for this summer, and which is going to be another update of Capcom's fighting game.

Like its ancestor, Wargame: Red Dragon looks more like a DLC disguised as a stand-alone, than a real new game. If the fans like that opus, the majority of gamers will find no interest in this IP which is getting even harder to jump in. That being said, the Asian context of the solo campaign, and the arrival of sea units which enrich the gameplay are welcome additions. Like before, it's by going multiplayer that we'll see the effect of those units since the AI is still a bit of a mold. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Pretty, deep, demanding, and accurate: Mario Golf World Tour places itself as one of the safe bets of the 3DS. You will keep training again and again to get the infinite amount of subtleties of its gameplay. But not everything is perfect. The crazy items that Nintendo was promoting are simply useless, and there will be some complaints about the price of the DLC's and Season Pass.

As expected, Trials Fusion is a real success. Ubisoft is now leading the game, and it's enhanced technically as well as in a gameplay matter. The track editor, challenges and extra content weren't even needed. It's kind of strange but the multiplayer modes is the only bad argument against this title, that deserved much more on this side.

We were anticipating this version of Titanfall with some apprehension. Finally, it's a pretty good port, even compared to the Xbox One edition. Of course, the two games aren't able to produce the same visual quality, but that doesn't impact the gaming experience and you will have fun on Xbox 360 too.

It's hard to understand why EA wants to make FIFA more casual, more accessible, as the series is a record seller every year. It's also quite hard to get why FIFA World Cup: Brazil 2014 is sold as an entire game whilst it's more like a big DLC. Of course, all the official content make the game interesting as long as you take it for what it is: a fancy football game far from the demanding gameplay of FIFA 14.

Compared to the PS3 version, this port has nothing to be ashamed of, as gameplay and visuals are still excellent. The only regrets we have are about the lack of interaction with the touchscreen and the necessity to download the third episode.

The main quality of The Elder Scrolls Online is the giving of a good answer to the fans asking for an MMO Elder Scrolls for years. But objectively, it's not the best MMORPG around, nor the best episode of the series. Consequently, the game has good moments but it never enters the unforgettable kind. And the subscription seems very high at the end of the day.
