Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition is undoubtedly an essential package, including updates made available throughout the two years of its existence that make this game almost perfect.

A fantastic release of an already great game. There may just about be enough here for veterans of the original release and its expansion to return to the world of Sanctuary, but for those who’ve yet to experience it the PS4 edition is a truly excellent dungeon-crawling RPG, and the definitive console release, capable of providing hours and hours of gameplay.

It's great with a group and fine if you're playing alone, but I'd still say that, if you're able, the PC version is the one to get unless you're specifically looking for a local co-op mode.

Amazing gameplay, lots of replayability, co-op is a blast, LOOT AND MORE LOOT, and some more loot.
Oh did I mention there is no load times? Graphics are nothing to write home about but this is a game that is all about the gameplay. And the LOOT of course.

Just play it and you will understand why it is so addicting. Highly recommend this as one of your purchases for the holidays if you are strapped for cash.

I first bought it for the PC when it came out, and the only thing that kept me from playing it after a month was the real money auction house, which greatly reduced the item drop rate. Thank blizzard they removed it finally. Now I bought it for the PS4, and I must say, it is even better than the PC version. The graphics are outstanding with the native 1080p resolution running on 60fps, and the gameplay is silky-smooth, which cannot be said on the PC version. No matter how I adjusted the graphics, it still went below 30fps at some points of the game, and I am not talking about a potato PC. There are some minor features that I miss, for example zooming in to the character which could be binded to the left stick click, but it's not a deal breaker for me. The only complaint I could have is that the game on normal mode is way too easy, but the difficulty can be changed anytime during the gameplay.
    Buy it!

TheThe game has a ton of things to do and explore, and a very long progression. Combat is fun and intense, but becomes very repetitive too. The plot of the story felt quite unsubstantial, I played it 3 times and never really followed its thread. However I think the game's attractiveness lies in the addictive character and gear progression. Which is what will keep you playing it. It is most fun in 4 player couch coop. Do that if you can! Coming from a big fan of Blizzard. Diablo 2 will still be my all time favourite and I still play it to this day.

Coming from a big fan of Blizzard. Diablo 2 will still be my all time favourite and I still play it to this day.

Diablo 3 is a good game. If I played it without playing its predecessors, I would give it higher praises but I didn't. To me, it's a dumbed down, casual game compared to 1 and 2. I understand that they are trying to appeal to the casual gamers but 2 had a MASSIVE fan base and they disappointed a lot of them including myself.

Here are a couple of things I hate about it:

    It had been dumbed down

What happened to dying and having to go and recollect your body and items? Takes a lot of fun and challenge in the game (something Dark Souls changed little).

What happened to the dark, gothic art design? Diablo 2 gave you worst feeling of being alone in a dark dungeon . Diablo 3 got the WoW art design making everything so fkn cartoony, it really ruins the experience for me.

The weapon class system pisssed me off the most. Hunter can't use anything apart from ranged. You fkn for real?! They should of done what Dark Souls done that you can use any weapon but if you're not suited for it, you can't use it well. Not enitirely banning them from using the fkn thing!

Rants aside, it has a lot of good too. Couch Co Op is one big thing that they did well. 4 player Co Op is also fun with the ability to trade goods.

The controller gives you better control and the dodge rolls play a big part in combat compared to the Click n Go system on PC.

Cinematics are excellent, they're spot on on content and character voices. It's just the in game models that are soo annoying.

    Overall I give a 7

    - 2 to crappy cartoony art design
-1 to dumbed down casual gameplay

I am giving this a zero to balance out all of the BS good reviews that are on here. The game is not the worst but it is nowhere near enjoyableI am giving this a zero to balance out all of the BS good reviews that are on here. The game is not the worst but it is nowhere near enjoyable compared to any other game on the market.if you're like me and you're buying it because you like to Diablo 2 please don't make the same mistake I did by giving this game a chance. There's just so much I can say about how bad it is I don't know where to start. The graphics are almost cartoonish (it's like they took them straight from World of Warcraft) and don't give you the same rugged feeling like Diablo 2. I would've preferred they keep the graphics the same then make them look like they do. The game is so ridiculously easy I just started out and I haven't died a single time and I've been in the first act on hard mode. I'm only level 12 and I can literally stand in one place for minutes (LITERALLY!!!) while hordes of enemies attack me and I will not die. The story mode is so linear and has no feeling of adventure whatsoever. I tried SOOO hard to give this game a chance despite all the bad reviews I read and I Extremely regret that I did. I know it sounds like I'm being harsh but I am not, it is really that bad. You can literally stand there and hold The a button down and sleigh every enemy in your way. There is no challenge at all all the objectives are close by and marked on your map. The one good thing I can say is that the voice acting is good. You can't pick what attributes to unlock you just unlock them as you level up. Which was one of the main joys of Diablo 2 because you could customize how you want to play your character.I would much rather blizzard remake Diablo 2 then release this piece of junk. Don't waste your money. Expand
