It's not that Otogi doesn't deliver, it's just that I wished it delivered more depth in it's gameplay rather than relying on the "hey look at how insanely cool my graphics are" school of development.

If you're not bored with it in half-an-hour then you can come over to my place and watch the paint dry on the side of my garage. You will spend endless fascinating hours as the sun causes the underlying layers of latex to expand and bubble, eventually making the top coat flake off into little peel-able chips.

I also have to wonder after 3 years why the game still has some things that have not been fixed? It's not that Fever is a bad game. It just seems to be missing that final polished look and play about it.

The biggest disappointment concerning Scooby Doo! Night of 100 Frights, is that it doesn't look or play any differently on the Xbox than it did on the PS2 version which was released more than a year ago.

That isn't to say SCII isn't a fine upstanding product; it is in spades. It just happens to be more than a little predictable and without sounding unappreciative, it's more or less like the excellent Dreamcast verison released back in 1999.

Unfortunately the GameCube is my least favorite in terms of control, with the PS2 being the most comfortable controller to use... The GC D-Pad is entirely to small and finicky, the Xbox D-Pad is too rounded and sloppy but the PS2 D-Pad....it's just right.

Ghost Master is all about death, and it works. It combines RTS, RPG and action elements and will bring to mind games such as "The Sims" and "Monsters Inc." with a healthy dose of "Scary Movie's" irreverent sense of humor.

Mojo would be an absolutely fantastic puzzle game if a few technicalities were tweaked... With more than 100 stages and a four-player mode you could certainly do a lot worse than Mojo.

The animation has been smoothed over but the Xbox version is the clear winner in the graphic department.

If TRON 2.0 allowed you to use more of your brain along with the action elements, it would be a more rewarding experience. As it is, TRON 2.0 underneath all the glitter, glimmer and high-tech processing is just a 386.

The problem with Prison Escape is that it's just a buggy little piece of crap. If I were playing this game for my own enjoyment instead of reviewing it I would take this back to the store so fast I would be able catch myself coming out of the door withit.

There is no doubt that this game will take a lot of time to complete but the repetitious nature of the gameplay will ensure that all but the most ardent of Pokemon fans will take the time to collect all 200 monsters.

Unfortunately the tweaking seems to have actually diminished the playability slightly and therefore Chaos Bleeds just doesn't have that "control is like butta" feel that the first one had in spades.

One of the more challenging and frustrating racers to come along in ages, F-Zero GX will give any, and I mean any, gamer one hell of a run for his money.

Realism has its place in games but the realism that the developers chose to highlight in Aquanox 2: Revelation actually impedes the gameplay.

A good game but the developers made one serious mistake. By making the game so short and with no multi-player or any serious replay value, Outrage has created the perfect rental.

Suffers from average gameplay and a few flaws in the mechanics. It's not the most fun game if you consider that it includes all the patent action/platforming elements with few surprises, but the storyline may make things a lot easier to take.

Don't even think of renting if for this price. With such a simple-to-use, yet complex control system, you can be fighting in no time and continue refining your skills for months to come.

Steep and deep. That means it's got a steep learning curve but the depth it reveals will be worth the effort.

Perhaps one of the more interesting modes is the Owner mode that exists as a kind of parallel universe with the Franchise mode. It would make a good game by itself although the focus is on business and not on football gameplay.

Because of its tight game-play, depth and dizzying amount of features, Madden is still the one to beat.

It's slightly tweaked and certainly a good game but so were the previous ones. Unless this is your first Madden football game then don't bother.

The game has several improvements and new features, which adds to the replay value. Although the owner mode may not appeal to everyone, the game offers plenty of other features to keep any football fan happy.

The ease of the control system makes this a perfect rental for a day or two.

You may want to make the comparison to "Devil May Cry" but Chaos Legion is not in the same league. Think of it as a poor man's version.

Admittedly there is not much here for the Ghost Recon vet. Beginners will get the most bang for their buck with this purchase.

In the end it's the drab gameplay that ultimately hurts what could been a more innovative experience...I'd certainly recommend playing the game - just maybe in bite size chewable doses.

While the novelty of being scared witless by the hideous creatures in the Silent Hill series may have ebbed some in recent years, Silent Hill 3 is guaranteed to graft a slow chill to your spine.

Better courses, more tricks and a major overhaul in virtually all departments, Rides Gone Wild has improved on everything that reviewers and fans alike criticized in the original.

Pure console fare; it's going to lower the bar on the PC's status as a more sophisticated gaming machine for sure. It's pure mindless fun for the most part, and at other times it's just pure mindless.

Nothing more than a stagnant, relentlessly boring game. You can exploit everything the game has to offer in less than a couple of hours.

Each fire is unique and has several factors that must be considered before any action can take place. Emergency Fire Response lets you see if you have what it takes, and it's ex-fireman approved.

The biggest problem with BUM:ZoD (actually BumZod is kind of a cool word…ya bumzod!) is directly related to the narrow track design that awaits you on every track. Crashing, smashing and bashing into the sides is something you'll have to get used to because there is no discernible way of NOT doing it.

The game looks good, sounds good, has a great collision detection system, no drop in the framerate or any other noticeable technical flaws. But like so many sequels, it's just void of a soul.

The graphics blow, the control is as responsive as Anna Nicole Smith's husband, the animation is an insult to those 60's Hulk cartoons with the retarded theme song.

It's a decent offering for the Xbox but it's nothing compared to the great RTS games available for the PC.

Responsive as a sim, the vehicles handle exceptionally well. They're well balanced and react as you would expect such a vehicle to in every situation.

It will take the better part of a day to get comfortable with the controls so plan on using up some of your patience. In a short while you'll be soaring with the eagles - and also dropping like flies.

One of the must haves for the system. Finally after a gapping hole in the gaming industry I feel like someone has created a complete game. It doesn't leave you hanging un-satisfied.

A random map generator will give you some decent replay value as it works great. It's almost like acquiring a new expansion pack every time you use it.

It's full of puzzles, investigations, exploration and the supernatural but there's a lot less action in it than you would expect for an action game.

Take away the Robocop license, pop culture sound bytes and you've got a totally generic FPS on your hands that is completely forgettable.

It’s steep and it’s fast. It not only looks great but it will make your stomach feel like you’re on a elevator. The graphics are realistic, and the perspectives are virtually perfect enough to consider this game a sim.

It straddles the line between "mediocre" and "good" with an occasional spike into "brilliant."

Anything but old school. It possesses a life of its own which is altogether unique, otherworldly and strangely believable.

What this game failed to do was make me afraid of being captured. There's no real element of danger, terror or purpose.

The enemy AI just stands around and lets you pick them off as though you were choosing teams for dodge ball.

Not all of the missions are more difficult than subsequent ones, but in general the game's level of difficulty does increase exponentially when amortized over the 30-plus missions.

A must have RPG title for the Xbox and the best one at that, even beating out the somewhat convoluted Morrowind. In fact, it's one of the better RPG's available on any next gen console.

The new features are great but some require some awkward finger movement and could have been laid out a little better.

It's so full of bells and whistles that the gameplay seems almost secondary.

Skills are easy to pick up but very difficult to master. This frustration may lead a lot of players to just pick up their lasers and start blasting. At least it feels like your doing something. But it all gets incredibly repetitive if you don’t level-up.

It's not a button masher. Energy and strength must be conserved. The key to good gameplay is looking for and finding openings. Taking advantage of your opponent's weakness is the strategy that will separate the men from the boys.

It borders on bad taste makes fun and is meant to entertain while having a solid sports game in the mix. The game accomplishes this in every way. [Online Score = 100]

Visually the game just plain blows. The fighting animations are right out of Fighter Maker Light - with stiff looking movement and only a couple of different punches and kicks - although it's widely advertised that each Angel has her own distinct "fighting style". They don't.

Although the game has much more depth than DOA, with more moves giving you more control on the court, this is still not the definitive version of a volleyball game.

I would have spent a small fortune on this game at the arcade if it were released when I was an adolescent. The gameplay lends itself perfectly to the GBA. It's like a cross between "Pong" and "Bust-A-Move" with a good helping of Arkanoid thrown in.

Mistmare has more bugs than an apartment in the Projects. The game is virtually unplayable. It's more horrendous than the Inquisition - and just about as much fun. I don't even know where to begin to lament on the inadequacies of this… abomination.

The depth comes in the form of controlling the vehicles, navigating the city streets and discovering shortcuts.

Production values in the graphics and sound are excellent. The attention to detail, from the rich textures to the symphonic score, is nothing short of brilliance. If only the game played as good as it looks and sounds.

A great example of a successful collective consciousness. It just lends credence to the saying: If a group of programmers that are confined to a room are placed in front of computers, eventually they will create a great game.

It's not really different and it's not really better, it's just pretty much a continuation. You know the saying "If it ain't broke..."

I suggest we change the name of the game to "Crazy Taxi 2: Featuring Sprites That Resemble Characters From The Simpsons."

The only up side to owning this game is that you can go back and replay all the levels to find all the images, rescue all the characters and beat your best score.

The engines are thick sounding and correlate perfectly with the controls. You can hear the differences between the sounds of the various models. The tunes are hard rocking and laced with that heavy-metal-thunder attitude.

This game is not for action addicts. At times it can be deep and rewarding and at other times it can be boring and redundant. Compared to a good, mindless shooter, World War II: Frontline Command is like playing war on a speadsheet.

You can't help but love this game. Even if you're not at all interested in bikes, boards and inline skates, there are enough levels, modes and objectives to interest virtually all gamers.

This cross-pollinated game has a lot of potential but little of it has been realized in this version. It’s weak in just about all areas. Nothing seems to go smoothly at first, everything is a learning curve including interacting with the interface.

From the tight controls to the challenging gameplay and including many tunes from the original this game is highly recommended for any GBA players that want some serious 'tude with their game.

A refreshing game that is straightforward, easy to follow and most importantly, it's fun.

A good game for those that like to be in on the ground floor. It's unique in that you can build your own playable shooter, so to speak, but the gameplay is just average. Still, the combination of creation and shooter may be irresistible to some.

The fact that this game flies under the Star Trek banner is almost ridiculous. It’s really just a shooter, but it’s a damn good shooter. It just doesn’t belong in the Star Trek universe where cooler heads prevail.

Un-challenging, un-fun, easy to beat and way too short. It’s such a boring game that the only saving grace is that it’s mercifully short.

If you’ve already played the first two games, there’s not much point in playing this one.

It has a great story and interesting characters and makes you use your brain.

It was refreshing to play this GBA version which I must say is almost more fun than the console version.

I really have no idea why this game was made so short. You can make it through the story mode in an afternoon.

The relative ease of the control system and derivative gameplay means that you won't be spending time bent over the learning curve. You can dig right in and have yourself a great afternoon's worth of entertainment.

Truth be told, Rock n' Roll Racing makes an interesting novelty game with some tough challenges but it follows the hackneyed gameplay format of just becoming more difficult using the same premise.

Eidos and Core Design have a debacle on their hands. Angel of Darkness is by far one of the worst games I have ever played. The control, slowdown and glitches are so crippling that the game is honestly, barely functional at times.

It's as though the developers thought they were the first to poke fun at southern-fried truckers while many of us have been doing it for years already.

Dead Aim while not perfect manages to combine the feel and game play of the RE series and add the light-gun in and it works well.

This is the style of arcade game that was around in mechanical form since the early 50s. It's just an on-rails shooter that never lets up. You never move from your position while shooting down swarms of Japanese aircraft with your AA gun. It's so easy to play it's ridiculous.

SOF II is not much more than a glorified, or should I say, gore-ified shooting gallery. It's not unlike "House of the Dead" only less exciting.

A dated game that is today belittled by the very games that it helped inspire. I can't believe that this game hasn't been tweaked. It's nearly identical, warts and all to the DC port.

It's void of any scenic ambience which gives the game a sterile appearance that is also, unfortunately, reflected in the gameplay.

Not only unoriginal but flawed in its execution. It can be fun in spurts but it fails to sustain any momentum.

Don't expect much help from the interface. It's a confusing mess that after some 20-hours of gameplay still makes little sense as to its existence - I thought these things were meant to be helpful.

The control system is excellent and the game is challenging but not impossibly difficult making it accessible for beginners while still offering plenty of fun, adventure and depth to the hardcores.

Although the challenge is formidable, the game is relatively short. The developers were hoping that the difficulty of the game alone would add to its length.

Webfoot actually improved just about everything in this sequel. They probably didn't have to but fans will be glad they did.

Personally, except for the glitch in the soundtrack and a few minor details in the graphics, the game is fun and that is what is important.

The extra video with Bruce talking about the game and his experience over the years is worth the price alone.

Combines some of the best elements of past games but still fails to deliver what should be a near-perfect gaming experience. It's like a stew that just doesn't blend.

One of the smartest, grittiest and most fun things to happen to the Cube in a long time. This game's more than a shooter, it's a way of life.

The whole feel of the game is relaxed and easy-going. If you’re at wit’s end you can always ask someone online for help. I found the online community friendly and equally laid back.

Online play is good as far as lag is concerned but you'll have to have plenty of patience finding games. At the end of each game you're knocked back into the lounge where you have to search for another game.

The stunts you can pull off on a wakeboard in real life are astounding but the stunts you can pull off in the virtual world are nothing short of amazing.
