As stupid as this blend of car battling and wrestling may sound it's not a bad game but it's certainly not going to make any reviews' top ten list.

This game is very frustrating and relies on a blend of skill and luck which means even if you're a skilled player you will never have total control of the randomized events... Still, for the right person this can be a very fun game.

This is one hot engine, baby. The graphics and the animation are about as smooth and realistic as it gets. The physics is precise and the controls are tight.

The gamers that it will appeal to most of all are those beginning or dabbling in flight sims and/or for those looking for a game that presents a very realistic challenge.

My problem with Enclave is, if nothing else, the repetition of the gameplay. I don't like my games to be overly complicated but some more control would have been a most welcome addition.

Fun to play and offers a great story and awesome visuals. The hardest thing you may have to decide is when to hit the save button and stop playing. The game draws you in quickly and holds your attention.

It's not a vast improvement over 2K2 but it's going to surprise the hell out of anyone weaned on PSX baseball games.

Offers plenty of déjà vu for Sonic fans. That can be either good or bad depending on what you expect from the spiky-haired hedgehog.

For the true baseball fan, Baseball Mogul makes a great supplement to any action-based baseball game. For any other gamer it's a great learning experience whether you like baseball or not.

A slight improvement from last year's game but a few new tweaks do not a new game make.

Murakumo at first looks like an expensive diamond but after playing it you to will see it’s nothing more then a polished lump of coal.

Certainly at the top of the heap of GBA games. It's not as difficult as the first one but it's still no cakewalk. It's going to keep you busy for a good long time.

The one-liners and crazy situations alone are worth the price of admission. I don't want to give too much away but if the thought of being defecated on by a witch in her outhouse sounds bizarre to you, welcome to Rayman's world.

What's great about Freelancer is that it's relatively easy to learn how to play and relatively easy to play, yet still provides enough of a challenge to give hardcores a real workout.

The story is confusing and as far as I'm concerned you might as well forget trying to figure out the whole picture. Just concentrate on completing your current mission and everything will take care of itself.

If you're looking for some radical improvements, then I suggest you look elsewhere.

If you've played Ocarina more than once, you should really enjoy the new twists and turns that Master Quest offers.

Most of the graphics capture that dark, dingy, European ambience almost as successfully as the Olive Garden.

You might enjoy watching the lengthy cutscenes and getting involved in the pondering of philosophical issues, but I've already been there and now I just want to play before I die.

Addicting. It operates on many levels. Not only to you have to think fast but you have to plan in advance. I think that most gamers will be amazed at just how many words they can think of when pushed to the limit.

CMR3 without hesitation is the purest virtual representation of rally racing ever created and you should know that before going in.

Not only does the game look bad with last decade's graphics, but the controls are way too loose making any kind of sudden changes in direction virtually impossible.

One of the most refreshing games I've played all winter. I didn't say it was the best, but if you're getting a little bored of dungeon crawling, shooting and fighting, then consider Everblue 2 as your winter vacation.

The game gets very old, very fast, especially in the four-player mode.

The graphics themselves are good but not befitting of the Xbox. The gameplay is challenging to an extent but is more targeted at novice gamers.

Don't let all the razzle and dazzle fool you, underneath this shiny new-looking game is an old creaky, termite-chewed, wooden platform just waiting to collapse under the weight of all the additions on top of it.

The mouse takes the place of the analog stick and really smoothes things out. It's much easier to aim your gun at cameras, light bulbs and human heads, and you can make Sam run faster than ever before. It all comes together to make Splinter Cell one of the best action/stealth games to ever grace PC.

You know you're playing this game over and it makes no bones about it. It's upfront and honest in that regard and even if you just play it once, you are certain to enjoy every juicy minute of it.

This is the game that "Dark Cloud" should have been. Dark Cloud 2 is truly a fantastic RPG though it really should have been entitled Dark Cloud One-and-a-half.

A fine game but in terms of depth it's a paintscratch away from the surface.

I've played better games on the PSX, in terms of appearance, gameplay, sound, graphics and re-playability.

This is more than just a plain game, it's a damn fine plane game if you ask me.

The appeal of this game is that it's different every time. The unappealing aspect of this game is that it's played the same every time.

It gets stale after a while and there's really nothing to drive you to the end, save for facing another challenge of making it safely over a bizarre and dangerous collection of platforms.

Good harmless fun.

Vexx isn't anything you haven't seen or played before countless times and sticks to the conventions of the genre to the point of frustration.

I will warn you and even I admit I had only two fights against players in Japan and got shown why they love fighting games.

You will get so caught up in the story you won't be thinking "Dungeons and Dragons." Can't wait for the next one.

Better than last year's game with new modes and some new controls but it's a long way from being the definitive version of the sport.

The game's biggest problem is the programming of the AI. When you assemble your team, little do you realize what idiots they all turn out to be. It's like they're all on crack or something.

Just a darn good game unto itself... The framerate runs at an unbelievably smooth 60 fps and allows for some very fast and clean looking tracks.

It's traditional RPG stuff but this game has just the right amount of depth to satisfy fanatics while appealing to new recruits. It's a lengthy, well-balanced adventure that is sure to satisfy your RPG cravings.

Just about everything is good quality in this game but make sure you're computer is loaded or you're going to be playing a slideshow.

The game makes you suffer the stress of not knowing what to do or where to go and that makes for very uninteresting and uncomfortable gameplay.

There are tons of extra moves such as two-level jumps, fireballs, hurricane kicks, dust moves, one-kill-punches and the Psych Burst which allows you to stop a combo or super move right in the middle of its execution.

It has the gimmick of Daredevil's heightened senses and special abilities but it's not enough to carry the lame gameplay.

Skies may be ordinary in the sound department but it's extraordinary in all other aspects.

The game has a lot of charm and humor and the most important thing is it is fun to play.

What the game suffers from is an overwhelming lack of personality. The vehicles are generic looking, even for the future, and the rest of the game feels as empty as the abandoned cities the tracks encircle.

The game will have you mashing buttons but it somehow feels right within the context... It's fun without being too cute.

Unfortunately for fans, the whole experience can be summed up in one sentence: Too bland, too easy but looks good.

The gameplay is actually deep but I do have a bit of a conundrum with the controls. They are simple to use but at the expense of what could have been an even deeper game.

The trick system is easy to use, maybe too easy. There's not a lot of depth... Very straightforward in every respect and that's why I think it's perfect for a rental.

Nowhere near as engaging as "GTA 3," "Vice City" or even "Max Payne."

Mech, FPS and RTS fans must check this game out.

Enjoyable but dated... Considering that these are nothing more than the Dreamcast versions released a year ago for the low price of $19.99, charging an extra $20 is nothing more than highway robbery.

It's not a great looking game but that was never its strength. It's all about mood and it has it here in spades.

Although the Dual Shock is mapped to function as all of the buttons you could ever need to contol your Sims, I found the interface to be clunky and unintuative. A keyboard and mouse would have made the experience a thousand times more enjoyable.

Basically in the same leagues as "Fury" which is disappointing since "Fury" is more than a year old already.

If you've got your PS2 hooked up to a good stereo you will be tempted to do the glass-of-water test from the movie Jurassic Park. So powerful are the pounding sounds that they're sure to leave ripples in your glass of water.

The presentation is hideous. This is so bare bones I'm sure even a Russian would feel a little embarrassed about the lack of options, detail, story and gameplay. The music is terrible.

The level of detail is astounding... You can play this game for years and always get different results.

Sure, rail shooters may be considered old-school, but Panzer Dragoon Orta is the definitive rail shooter. It's what rail shooters have long aspired to become; it's an evolved specie.

It's bigger than before and looks great as Don is back at the graphical helm but there are some elements which are obviously out of his control such as the collision detection system, framerate slowdown and poor camera angles.

A game that will appeal to novice and intermediate gamers. It's loaded with quality but it lacks variety.

Approached with the right attitude this game can be a lot of fun as well as a great learning experience.

Packed with racing pleasure. It's a deep game in the tradition of the average PS2 championship mode.

Looks great and runs smoothly. It's superior to the PS2 version in terms of cleaner graphics.

Essentially Gauntlet without the magic. You can't even play as Gandalf here.

If you like solving mysteries you should really enjoy The Mystery of the Mummy. It blends old-fashioned analytical detective work with state-of-the-art computer-based puzzles while maintaining the atmosphere of a period piece.

There's nothing here that would warrant this game being on the Xbox. It doesn't look good, the sounds are average, the tunes are forgettable and the gameplay is unimaginative.

This game borders on blasphemy... What you get is a slow paced game of hide and seek where it seems no one even cares to come looking for you.

To its favor, Crimson Sea has a way of making repetition work. After each level you can upgrade your weapon, purchase new ones, or increase your character's attributes as you would in a RPG.

A good, but much too short, game. After playing the nine levels there's not much to return for.

This game is more of an action adventure without the combat. It's also a little shy on action and adventure.

There's little you can do despite the 34 spells at your disposal. Getting out alive is left to chance and a lot of button mashing.

The sense of scale is impressive. There is some draw-in but these worlds are absolutely massive and impressive.

From the thunder of the engines to the sound of breaking glass you won't need much further convincing that you are playing one of the finest racing games ever created for the home system.

One of the best examples of a RPG that is suitable for players of all levels and ages.

If the graphics and animation were better on Beyond the Battlebox, this game would stand a chance. Unfortunately it's about as basic as you can get.

Hardcore gamers need not apply; this game does not push the series in any direction. In fact it kind of drags it back a little but that's fine as long as it hits its intended audience.

There's not a lot of depth to it and the gameplay is repetitive but it's still a whole lot of fun and there are enough distractions to keep you entertained and interested right until the end.

There is a lot of trial and error here and you should be prepared to do a lot of dying. The camera angles are fixed and will at times cause you to make suicide leaps.

The controls are tight, the sense of speed is exhilarating, there are plenty of unlockables and the game has lots of depth to it.

The game brings back some great moments in the history of wrestling and that alone deserves a look from wrestling fans.

It's really quite one-dimensional. Did they pull this fighting engine out of a Game Boy Color?

But the most amazing feature is that an entirely new game has been added. It's a multi-player game that is worth the price of admission alone. It's more than Gauntlet and it's not just another Deathmatch, it's a stand-alone game that makes this one of the best GBA buys in history.

It's not the most challenging of games but there are some side-scrolling moments that liven up the pace.

The creatures are incredible. They look and move like distorted corpses that have been in tragic accidents or have undergone unspeakable experiments. They limp, writhe and undulate their way into our unconscious.

I will warn you that you can beat this in an afternoon. Take your time and go for the prizes.

A ghost of its former self.

Almost unbelievable. It looks like the darn arcade version.

It's certainly an interesting take and one that hasn't been featured in very many video games.

Are we going to be forever destined to inferior products based on popular characters wading through a series of hackneyed mini games?

Nudity and language aside, I asked myself if BMX XXX stands on it's own merit. If it was just a BMX game, would it work? The answer is 'Of course". It's one of the best BMX XXX games to date.
