With loads of action and old adventure, Megaman and Bass is also a game with plenty of depth and replay value to it. So fans of the mighty Blue Bomber rejoice and grab this game with no hesitation.
-
Hardcore Mega Man fans (or anyone else looking for a great, challenging action game) should seize this opportunity to take the blue bomber back to his old-school roots.
-
Electronic Gaming MonthlyUnless you're completely worn out on the series, you'll find this to be one of the best action games on the GBA. [Apr 2003, p.132]
-
It represents Mega Man doing what he does best-beating bosses with cool themes, collecting their weapons, and overcoming well-designed levels that are difficult…but not stupidly-super-frustratingly difficult.
-
Easier than "Mega Man Zero" but harder than most of the NES titles.
-
For me, it's the depth of a game that keeps me playing it for hours and not setting the difficulty so high that you are forced to spend hours just repeating a level. I know, Capcom traditionally makes Mega Man games tough, but at some point a game has to be fun to play as well.
-
Anyone hoping this long dormant series to be reborn will be sorely disappointed. Anyone that hasn't tried a Mega Man game yet would be better advised to spend $15 on a new copy of "Mega Man 8" on the PSOne.
