While the game is a bit on the linear side, it does a fantastic job of telling an interesting original story.
-
Cheat Code CentralThere's not a lot of depth to it and the gameplay is repetitive but it's still a whole lot of fun and there are enough distractions to keep you entertained and interested right until the end.
-
Oddly enough, hunting down targets isnt integral to gameplay, it's completely optional.
-
The targeting system is well executed, but the camerawork is not. In enclosed areas it can go ballistic, often pointing in a direction that obscures your enemies.
-
Even though the game's overall execution leaves something to be desired, Bounty Hunter has its good points, and the GameCube version is markedly better than the PS2 release.
-
A flawed, boring game design that fails to capitalize on the inherent coolness of its theme and character.
-
Play MagazineFlat control, annoying fish-eye perspective, and a schizophrenic camera that never settles down. [Jan 2003, p.80]

Jun 15, 2023A definitely under rated game which had a fantastic atmosphere. The music is also very good, special mention to the main menu music.
