Russia has fallen under the control of ultra nationalistic politicians intent on rebuilding the Iron Curtain. This leads to conflict with NATO as Russia attempts to reclaim the breakaway Republic of Georgia and the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. As the war escalates, casualties mount, hostages are taken and the Ghosts are sent in. Expand

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Movie 7
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 6 out of 18

  1. The need to command troops might not suit everyone, or the slower, more measured approach to combat. But if you want a unique war game for your console, Ghost Recon is your only choice.
  2. As a result of the somewhat simplistic design (which allows you to enjoy Ghost Recon even if you've not played a lot of tactical shooters) and the valuable multi-player modes, this is one game that may not receive a really high score but still comes highly recommended.
  3. In every respect besides multiplayer, Clancy’s Ghosts eliminate those damn pansy SEALs across the board.
  4. Shoots itself in the foot thanks to a ponderous control system.
  5. They’ve simplified the game enormously and as a result it suffers.
  6. It’s an OK military shooter that just can’t measure up to the likes of “Red Faction II” or “Timesplitters 2” in variety, options and replayability.
  7. 40
Sure, this game might be more accessible now, if you define "accessible" as "easily mastered by the severely brain-damaged."

I'm giving it a 10, cause it was sweet on every system. Maybe ps2 users don't like it cause you can't randomly beat women or I'm giving it a 10, cause it was sweet on every system. Maybe ps2 users don't like it cause you can't randomly beat women or there's no hentia to jack off too. and PSX nation comparing a Tactical Shooter to regular shooters like timesplitters 2 or red faction 2 is a sorry waste of time, all except the shoot part is different. Realism is the key to all of tom clancy games. Time splitters 2 looks like a cartoon and Red Faction 2 is only cause wholes appear in the wall with you shoot it. Expand

IfComparing this game to other 1st person shooters like Red Faction2 or Timesplitter's 2 is insane. This is a REALISTIC MILITARY 1ps. If that's what your looking for, search no more. This game is tight. The best feature is the mission co-op mode. Play with a buddy, it rules! The worst thing about it is that the co-op mode will not be unlocked until it's been beaten on single player mode. Don't worry though, you can find cheats on the net to unlock it right away. Expand

I, not owning anything more than a playstation 2, have little experience with the more modern first person shooters and i'd bet their graphics would blow Ghost Recon away.
However, give this game a chance, and you may find that it has something to say... Look past Ghost Recons lack of modernization. Look past its crude graphics, and you will find a good game for sure! No other first person shooter i know will take its player into the heart of Mexico to feel the sand beneath his feet, or the hot noon sun beating on his face... The cool twilight breeze in his hair. You can almost smell the gasoline leaking from the choppers as they pound above your head!
I tell you this; by the time this game was finished i was left wanting more! Five times more!
