Getting past the lame animation, Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy is a better wrestling game than most simply because it doesn't try to replicate real wrestling.

If you are a fan of the whacked out cartoon series, then you are definitely going to be tickled beet red with a kick to the solar plexus.

My biggest problem with the game was adjusting to the controls of this version... The controls are set-up remarkably well for the few buttons on the system. The problem is they did not include a sensitivity adjustment option.

The extra features including a race editor offer a lot of replay value and taking online beats playing against the AI racers.

Speed Kings is like "Need For Speed" on bikes meets "Burnout" with a dash of "Road Rash," and seriously, what's not to like about that match made in heaven?

Pinball games are largely disposable and not recommended for anything more than a rental. The same applies here.

Shrek Super Party should be called Shrek Super $#itty. It lives up to the rep that we gave it in advance.

Playing as the green thing is incredible fun. He's not only easy to control but he's got a good variety of moves... My biggest complaint is that the game isn't long enough.

Bloody Roar groupies will be pleased to know that this is the best game in the series thus far but only you can decide if a few new moves, characters and better graphics make for a better game.

What I would have liked to have seen is the player having the ability to change into the Hulk after things got hairy, more free roaming areas, more moves for the Hulk as he progressed through the game and more solid development in the Banner levels.

And what I mean by strange is damn good. It's virtually impossible to put down.

Graphics aside, this game is very realistic and sim fans will be rewarded with hours and hours of oval-racing Nirvana.

In my opinion it's just a little too little, too late.

If you enjoyed the first game but wished for online competition, then this game is certainly a worth adding to your collection. It keeps the things that made the first game great and adds to it.

With battling monsters and cards to collect this is really just another Pokemon game in disguise and not a very good disguise at that. Come on Nintendo, your slip is showing.

A decent little suprise. The price is right and the game doesn't suck... It works well as the only constant is Ash, voiced by the droll and often hilarious Bruce Campbell who delivers a tour de force when it comes to one liners and shlocky action hero lines.

This game is not intended to appeal to RPG players and even though there are three different teams the game has little to entice hardcore RTS gamers. Consider it an online shooter with a few shakes of spice.

A blast to play - it's great mindless escapist fare - exactly like the movie.

As a Sims fans, I can confidently tell other fans that there's no way you won't like this game. The focus is sharp, deep and highly entertaining. It's like starring in your own reality show complete with all the idiots that make it interesting and infuriating.

PC gamers will be treated to better graphics and more of those great 80s songs which are available on the MP-3 radio station.

The replay value is excellent and you will get your money's worth out of this expansion pack if you play from all perspectives. You'll even get some more use out of the original game.

If the rest of the games continue in the same progressive manner as this one, we might have another classic series on our hands.

Compared to the new crop of tactical shooters such as "Return to Castle Wolfenstein," Day of Defeat may seem like a sparse offering but the straightforward gameplay is certain to captivate.

It's more fun that the last two games and the production values have been improved. I find this game has a better balance of gameplay variety and unique level designs that keep it from becoming repetitive.

Replay value abounds.

If you want to play against a friend there is a two-player mode but if you want to really squeeze all the fun from this game, hog it and play against the AI. Having no friends has never been so much fun.

What you're really fighting in this game is the rules - and boredom. It's boredom that drives me to consume fried delectables, and I can tell you I must have gained eight pounds playing Empire of Magic.

It is also a game that will have you clocking in more than a few hours to beat. Again, that is a great thing but at times can add to the frustration to the player.

Seldom does a sports game possess arcade-style flair and PC-like depth but NBA Street Vol. 2 is just such a game.

The game offers great modes to play, a great way of knowing who is who when playing against others, and plenty of things to keep you playing this one long after the real NBA season ends.

A good enough game in its own right although it's a poor substitute for the real experience.

It's not just rehash, Ninja-Five-O does have some originality even though it borrows heavily from a variety of platformers. But you can't go wrong when you borrow all the best elements of classic games.

If I were Simon from American Idol I would say, "This is not the best Americer' has to offer. Sure you can take it online, but so what? I would expect to see this kind of game in an arcade on a cruise ship - it's that average."

It's not like being there, but Desert Storm offers us a glimpse into what modern warfare is like.

The lack of speed is actually an interesting concept because you can use some strategy when controlling your vehicle.

Purge is an average game and as such there really isn't much of an online community despite the game being out for over a month. It's just not catching on.

There are less modes, tracks and cars but the engine has been rebuilt and offers incredible handling and realistic graphics. If you want to focus on rally racing without all the distractions, this is the game.

Nothing is more embarrassing, or fun to watch, than something that someone thinks is cool, which falls flat while they really try to sell it with clueless enthusiasm. Just about every aspect of this game falls flat, from the gameplay to the soundtrack.

The framerate is as smooth as it gets as 60 fps. It gets cut in half for the split screen mode but still looks great.

More user-friendly than the original. It's much more free despite what appears to be an overwhelming amount of decisions and option. This is a good thing however and thanks to the handy interface it couldn't be made easier.

It's what I call an "equal sequel" which means the sequel is nearly identical to the original in every respect. I've already played the original so why do I want to play it over again?

I can honestly say that as far as wrestling games go this one is pretty darn decent. It's due to the grappling engine and the excellent graphics and animation.

The game is extremely short, it's easy and doesn't look very good even on high resolution. The gameplay is unique but it's not taken far enough.

Instead of a Superhero game this one is more of a go here and punch this guy, repeat and move on. Not even die-hard fans like Vaughn would have many nice things to say of this version.

Compared to other sim and tycoon games this one is not as deep which can be a good thing for Xbox players.

I am amazed at what they where able to create here... This game is fun, challenging and addicting.

The replay value is off the map. There is something so cool about playing characters controlled by living, breathing humans. If you haven't tried a persistent online RPG, you're in for an incredible experience.

Primal is more like "Soul Reaver" meets "Ico." And let me tell you, it works.

I got bored about halfway through due to the repetitive nature of the gameplay despite some new improvements and a two-player mode... It would be nice if there were more depth to the strategy and story development.

You might be able to squeeze 20 hours out of this game before you start repeating yourself.

The Xbox version is as close to the original as possible but the sloppy execution of accessing the interface is hampered by the limited control system.

It's really a lot more like real life than you may realize - but if you're playing this game alone on a Friday or Saturday night - this game has got to be a lot more fun than your life.

The textures are so low-res they will give you a headache. The two-player mode is even worse as it compresses the graphics into two halves to facilitate a vertical split screen making everything distorted and elongated, it's like sitting at the front of a Drive-Inn movie screen.

It captures the animated series to a tee and sports the love and care that all of us hope to see heaped on a port that originally appeared on another system (in this case, the PS2).

Anime never looked so good. I was not a big fan of the new-Link look myself but once I experienced the entire Zelda world as presented in this game, I can only commend Nintendo for a job well done.

Much too conservative. In my opinion, the Mercedes license should be dropped in favor of more gameplay freedom. If you don't want to knock your opponent off a mountain road to win a race, that's your problem. I at least want that option.

Personally if you want a solid UFC fighting game, buy the first one since it’s cheaper and overall a better game.

Going through the same obligatory missions again and again may be more than some can tolerate.

The best tip of all is to avoid this one altogether.

If you've got kids, you've got to get this game. It's as well designed as any game out there and offers plenty of non-violent activity.

While the animation isn't bad, what is being animated is old-school graphics which are very out of place on the PS2. It looks a bit like that old game Quix, where you had to draw lines to trap the goblin within 25-per-cent of the screen.

If you've already been-there-done-that, move along - there's nothing to see here. But if you must have Pokemon then just get one of these games. Don't fall prey to Nintendo's cheesy marketing scheme.

Only two kinds of gamers would appreciate this title: beginners and those looking for an easy hack-and-slash party game.

The gameplay is very focused and the controls are tight so there will be no added frustration to the game other than the challenges it offers.

The graphic violence is shocking. The story is captivating and the disturbing scenes are sure to make even hardcore gamers a little queasy.

Unfortunately the trip doesn't last long before you just want to pull over and grab some shuteye.

The great thing about Ultimate Brain Games is that there is enough variety here for all interests. Even if you're not convinced you would make a good chess player, it's always there should you want to take a stab at it.

It lacks features and control. All you really do is make a few choices and let the game play it all out for you. It's like the battle system in an old-school RPG.

Remains true to the character's roots and is aimed exclusively at youngsters that don't realize that Kermit sounded a little different a decade ago.

I didn't find this game particularly challenging but it's still loads of fun.
