From the graphics to the gameplay this is a game that would be more at home on the PSX than either the Xbox or the PS2. About the only good thing about this game is that it's a budget title. I wouldn't expect any serious gamer to get more than an hour's worth of entertainment from this.

As good as the game is, this one will take time to beat no matter your skill level. There was one thing that had me a little disappointed and that was the trick controls.

It's not really so much a game as just a bunch of things to do which can be refreshing in some cases. If you're thinking you may be too old for this game, you probably are.

While the frustration level has been taken down to almost zilch in some aspects of the gameplay, the kids will eventually have to contend with puzzles that will stump adults.

I don't want to sound too cheap, but considering you can complete this game in a day there's no reason to purchase it. There's precious little here for replay value.

It features lots of characters from the series, perhaps all of your favorites, but if these fighters were real they'd be on the phone with their agents trying to stop this game from getting released.

Even with three difficulty settings the game doesn't last very long. If you're a Spawn fan you'll get a kick out of this game but I recommend a rental.

I have to admit that the games are fun...Only the controls seem to be a bone of contention as some gamers have expressed that it's nearly impossible to play some of games without the actual phone-style controller.

Imagine a game that would make "Smokey and the Bandit" look like Gilbert and Sullivan. I know it's difficult to imagine but Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing is so pathetic it makes a sandpaper-and-vinegar enema sound positively delightful. Not that I would know.

As far as Dance games go, this is the undisputed winner.

There is virtually no difference between the PC and Xbox version. The Xbox Live feature lets you play others worldwide in a series of modes that gives the game good replay value.

There's not really a lot of control in this game. All you really have to do is get ready to do some button mashing when you find yourself in a combat situation.

A somewhat subpar FPS filled with enemies who when they did decide to shoot first, did so with an accuracy that was in direct contrast of their abilities to walk into a room without trouble.

This game is one of the most dark and disturbing games I have ever played and I'm still not sure if that's a good thing or not...Underneath it all I found the game one part infectious and one part repetitious. I enjoyed skulking in the shadows for the first half of the game, but after that it wore thin.

A delicious shooter that teaches everyone that killing can be tons of fun as long as it's presented in a light hearted manner.

It's a quality production from start to finish, always letting fans in on the joke and treats the FF universe with great respect and more importantly, a sense of fun that is always present on both sides of the screen simultaneously. Your Diva's await...

For less than $15, Space Channel 5 Special Edition is one of this season's best bargains.

Where Flight of the Falcon goes wrong is in trying to make the GBA display 3D environments for an entire game.

Only the most feeble of gamers or the very young will get any challenge out of this game. It should have been a mini game.

A solid effort and enough to keep you interested but only if you're into the multi-player modes.

PGR 2 has excellent controls. The only thing that might get a little frustrating is the fact they placed the camera button (The White Button) too close to the hand brake (The A Button).

No other game can come close to making you think you're back in the time period and are actually the young Prince on his adventure. The game is one that will have challenges even for the more advanced player and those watching will see things that will have them shaking their heads in amazement at the moves that can be pulled off in this game.

Rivals does have one aspect I like and that is the online play. A chance for 10 on 10 is a video hockey fans dream come true. It plays smooth and seems better online and not by mistake.

While there can be no argument that Inside Drive is more sim than any other basketball game it just doesn't do it well enough for it to be fun.

A game based on such a rich tapestry of races should at least give you a choice of whom to play as, but for the entire single player experience you'll be Kais, a Tau warrior. That's not so bad, if you are a fan or collect Tau. But what if you aren't?

Frontiers is a damn good expansion pack and there's no reason not to have it if you have a character from the last game that is leveled-up somewhere in between 40 - 50. The replay value is incredible.

I wish we could award some points for originality but although the concept may be unique, the gameplay is anything but.

It's a fun RPG that has plenty going on. If you're not careful this game could steal hundreds of hours away from you.

Blending action, stealth and driving elements, the game offers plenty of variety. Fortunately it's all well balanced.

If there's a better Mario game for the GBA, you haven't played it yet. Word.

Cima will have limited appeal if only because the gameplay design is not refined. The game is cumbersome in its execution and not deep enough to warrant such inconveniences.

I admit the game doesn't look very serious but all it takes is a few minutes of play to see that this game really kicks ass.

Why then make a game of the underground world of illegal street racing and not have any cops chasing you at all?

Like almost every other home made first party release for the GameCube with a few exceptions, MKDD feels like the same old thing with updated graphics and a few new innovations that unfortunately come up short.

There's just enough depth to this game to make it challenging to newbies and novices. If you're a "Roller Coaster Tycoon" fanatic you will find the gameplay much too similar to hold your interest.

More engaging and just like the monsters that it features, it's an evolution in progress.

No two games are same. This is one of the few GBA games that will actually give you an education while entertaining you at the same time.

This version of Double Dragon is simply the best; it even rivals the arcade version with new moves, weapons, updated graphics and some tweaks in the mechanics.

Submachine guns, assault rifles, grenades and pistols comprise the arsenal. All of the guns not only look great but they sound amazing.

A game that will really appeal to those who love the story and the characters. It stands on it's own as a semi-solid title, but to get the most out of it, you need to really care about the story and it's progression of the series.

Uru has some of the best graphics and sound of any game. The worlds seem alive. The imagination and talent of the artists would humble Salvidor Dali himself.

The Bloody Roar name had its day; compared to other fighters now available, the lack of depth is a serious issue.

One of the few PS2 games that ventures into Xbox territory. In looks, sounds, animation, story and depth, this game has it all.

It's guaranteed not to frustrate the hell out of you while offering a challenge for each and every game.

A cash grab...a shallow game. It's a novelty that will disappoint many in the long run.

This is the real thing, or at least as close to the real thing as you're going to get unless you purchase the original arcade games in their cabinet.

If you're looking for a game that won't overtax your brain then OT is the way to go.

An uninspired action adventure game that rehashes the same old elements that we've seen throughout the series. There is little combat and what is offered is limited by a few moves and combos which are all practically divulged at the outset.

A treat from the past with enough new features that somehow makes you feel like you're playing it for the first time while making it a worthwhile game of golf with plenty of competition.

The gameplay is unoriginal and not recommended for gamers with considerable experience.

It's simply so well executed that when you blow past some difficult parts simply because the game controls so well, you'll begin to think it's all you. That's the mark of a brilliantly designed game...I can't recommend this one highly enough.

A great debut and one that should be applauded by gamers that want some variety and imagination put back into their platforming.

Despite the variety of options there's just not enough variety in the gameplay. Much of it can be attributed to the nature of the sport itself.

With crappy animation, slow speed, generic gameplay all topped off with a password save, Cartoon Network Speedway could, in the future, be used in place of coal as the universally accepted bad Christmas gift for naughty, disrespectful children.

It's an old school, side scroller that doesn't have a lot of depth or variation but it's loaded with action and at under $20, you could call it cheap.

Intended for young gamers it's nice to see that attention was paid to the graphics and control system but the uninteresting gameplay will assure this game will see little action beyond the Holiday season.

Realistic is the effect that the designers are going for and they have certainly come closer with this version. Compared to the original all the graphics and animations have been improved greatly.

"A refreshing blast of gaming oxygen," is how I would describe Sony's new game EyeToy. It's a bit of a novelty to be sure, but it's going to pave the way to the future of how we interact with videogames.

Has just enough elements added to keep it interesting. Perhaps the way the game is designed to be played is one of its most important traits. That, being the ability to save anywhere in the game which allows for an installment style of play.

There's nothing to trade; nothing new to learn, and no real challenge since you can't play against another human.

A new mission or two would have had previous owners falling over themselves to buy it. While I admire Rockstar's restraint from the "quick sale", for the life of me I can't understand why they didn't go for it.

Still, the game does a good job of holding your interest without you having to learn the equivalent control configuration of piloting the space shuttle. When it comes to arcade-style games, it doesn't get much better that this.

Midway did a great job again this year and it's a great game for the single player or for the gamers who enjoys playing with friends.

The graphics virtually rival the movie and a two-player co-op mode gives the game good replay value making this game a worthwhile pursuit. Although relatively short, The Return of the King is short on story and long on action.

The Falsebound Kingdom is almost a prophetic title as this inferior product is forced upon the multitude of loyal supporters that are blind to the deception and exploitation employed by the Yu-Gi-Oh Empire.

The combinations of situations should be endless but unfortunately the game restricts all the freedom of the series and with it, all of the fun, mainly because all of Timmy's powers are taken away for the duration of the game. How lame is that?

It may not be much to look at, but at least the sounds are authentic.

Aimed at the younger demographic, Sinbad is a decent little production but the gameplay is repetitive and it doesn't last very long. It's pretty much hack and slash from beginning to end.

If there is one major complaint it's that the game is too short. It can be completed in an afternoon and there's virtually no replay value at all.

The developers are taking the license seriously and have produced a game that feels more like an episode of the series than the typical cash-grab game with popular characters thrown on it.

Morrowind is a great experience, especially for those that don't like being told what to do and where to go. It's a personal experience that makes you feel as though you're the only person in the world that matters. And isn't that what really matters?

The game feels empty and sterile. The airport never comes to life despite your best efforts. The game didn't hold my interest any longer an hour and I just didn't care to track down any help on the net.

Graphically, this is the worst looking version among the next-gen consoles, thought it's not really bad at all compared to other PS2 games.

I had to look twice to see if perhaps this copy of the game was actually a PSX game accidentally packaged in a PS2 wrapper. Frankly, this game plays so poorly I'm surprised that it's not on a cartridge.

An average adventure game that owes little to the original Frogger license.

Replay value abounds in Gladius, and when combined with the great presentation and the intense and varied gameplay, I would say this game has it all. Hail Caesar.

If EA had relied on their stellar background in sports to enhance QWC, this game would be infinitely better and much easier to play. That's not to say it's not enjoyable. It can be, at least before the challenge ramps up later in the game.

A game that has incorporated some of the best elements from action adventure and RTS games and has delivered a concentrated strain of shooting action in the distillation process. It may lack depth but I don't think you'll hear too many complaints.

Multi scrolling levels give the game a 3D appearance which will fool some gamers for a while but it's hard not to get bored playing on the same plane.

One of the better looking racing games with a very solid engine developed by Tantalus. It also plays great to boot. Now here's the problem, I'm bored... Now all I have to do is concentrate on the actual gameplay - and I can't help but notice how lackluster it is.

Just an excuse to implement a gimmicky feature that is undoubtedly fun, but not fun enough to warrant a complete game devoted to it.

The control you have over the ball is incredible. It will take some time but if you're used to "Virtua Tennis" you'll have a clue. It's just that the controls add more depth to the game and have a lot of nuance that has never been presented before.

While some will take a while to get used to the different control style, the game is one of the best out there of its kind. Challenging enough for those who love a challenge and fun for those who just want to have a good time.

It's all rather generic which means that you could have put the crew of the Love Boat in this game and nothing would change, except that it might actually be more fun.
