With so many modes, online play and unlockables which includes the great one himself, you'll have so many virtual seasons on your hand that you won't even miss the real season.

An old-school, space shooter that was designed to entertain. Developers City Interactive has done its homework to produce a no-frills game that is literally guaranteed to be fun.

This is one huge game. Granted, a lot of "make work" tasks manage to pad it out and they can get annoying after a while, but the actual size of the city is impressive.

The functionality of Halo 2 online is unequaled and there is something here for everyone. Before you even step into a Live arena, the amount of configuration options, both cosmetic and mechanic are almost overwhelming.

While "The Sims" can get deep, The Urbz: Sims in the City is a very light version of the original. This game is designed for girls that haven't yet grown out of the Barbie phase. The Urbz is the shallowest version of The Sims yet.

Just about everything that we complained about in the last game has been addressed. This is one great platformer.

With voiceovers and the ability to team up with other characters there is more of a sense of community than ever before.

Action is plentiful, in terms of shooting, but we don't really become immersed in this futuristic world. The linear nature and the repetitiveness of the gameplay make you feel as though you're just going through the motions - which of course you are.

Throwing rocks at cars would be a more fun than shooting rats in NRA Varmint Hunter. Playing this game made me feel like a hobo at a garbage dump with a metal detector.

The load times are ridiculous. I have not seen a more frustrating design. It loads when you access a menu. It even loads after you pause it. There is no other reason for this other than sloppy design.

The classic game is as addicting as ever. It starts off extremely easy, perhaps to suck in newcomers and inflate their confidence and then eventually kicks into high gear which will have the easily frustrated adding Suicide Prevention on the speed dial.

The environments are incredibly detailed and show a lot of innovation and imagination. It's not a stretch to believe that this world exists as characters go about their daily business and vehicles fly around in background. The AI is also more realistic and more challenging.

All of the games are arcade simple and relatively easy to play and master. Not all of them are a hoot however. "Crazy Taxi," which is a classic Dreamcast game is nothing but filler in this collection.

The most impressive feature of Smashing Drive is the graphics, which ironically was the least impressive feature when it was released for the Xbox and the Cube.

It's relatively easy and may not offer enough of a challenge for serious gamers.

Monster Garage is a reality show - which is what is sorely missing in this game. You'll have more fun watching the actual show and pretending to string rows of popcorn on a thread.

The FPS gameplay is a little on the mediocre side and the game is rife with flaws including a really bad slowdown glitch that permeates both the single-player and online modes.

The only good things I can say about this game is that it's short and you won't want to replay it. It might, however, inspire a developer to make a better version of this concept.

Puzzle fans that are looking for puzzles that aren't confounding for the sake of just being confounding are advised to check out Return to Mysterious Island.

A game that is undoubtedly the best of the bunch although it's not very different than the last one. I would rename this game, "ATV Offroad Fury Two-and-a-Half."

The concept of Technic Beat is simple but the gameplay gets more and more convoluted and complex with each level. I was just over halfway through the game when I met my Waterloo.

It's a shell of what might be a new Christmas classic which is, in one way, sad but the fact that the movie may be around for along time may tempt a developer to do this game justice in the future.

What you've got here is a new and improved version of last years game, with more modes and lackluster online play.

Its appeal is limited to a select audience who will appreciate it for exactly what it is: a trip down the blast processing memory lane. And if you know just what the heck "blast processing" refers to, you're a hardcore oldtimer and should reward yourself with this cool collection.

Duel Masters in videogame form is redundant from the actual playing cards. There's not much in the way of animation or storyline that furthers the card battling experience. The only benefit is that you can play against the AI if you can't find a friend.

It's challenging and there are strategic elements that rival that of Fire Emblem but it fails miserably to capture the essence of the Rings movies. Basically it's a generic turn-based strategy game using the Rings in the same way that kart racers attach to various franchises.

Gamers weaned on games like "Final Fantasy" who recognize that Tolkien's masterpieces are largely responsible for the genre they love and admire, probably won't be too pleased with the dumbing down of their favorite gaming conventions in The Third Age, but may want to experience the battles nonetheless simply due to their commitment to the subject matter.

It's not terrible but it's so generic that I have to warn you about it.

I place the blame almost squarely on the lameness of it all directly on Pixar's shoulders because the super powers featured in The Incredibles are nothing short of boring. Super strength, elastic powers, invisibility and super speed just don't really cut it when it comes to really cool super powers and they don't translate into exciting gameplay either.

Almost the perfect party game. Up to eight kids can take part in it. Unfortunately only one at a time can play and that's why I say "almost" perfect.

This game is satire in its sharpest form. It's self mocking, self aware attitude is always at the forefront and it makes the adventure, oh so very clever indeed.

It's like 5 games in one: part RPG, part adventure, part action, part racer and part sim. And it does it just as well as the best games in any of those genres...One of the best games ever released on any system.

The online play is the smoothest of any fighting game ever to have an online option. Players will be able to play with out the constant lag as found in the few other online fighting games.

For fans of poker or gambling games this one is great to buy. For those who are not huge fans of sitting around and playing a slower pace game that requires concentration, you may want to pass on this one.

In Dr. Mario, its all too obvious that Mario is practicing in Tetris territory without a license.

Due to the enduring and challenging gameplay, Castlevania is certainly worthy of a purchase since it's doubtful an average gamer will complete it in a day or two.

It's a long adventure and although it may be somewhat boring by today's standards, it's a great way for beginners to submerse themselves in the RPG universe.

You would be better off spending a few extra bucks and getting the "Zero Mission" game if you don't already have it. Otherwise I would be very hesitant to spend the twenty bucks on this old clunker.

You should know that underneath the veneer of simplicity lies a deeply challenging game. Where other racing games pack their challenge into deciding what mods to make, what car to use and requires hours perfecting the handling, Outrun 2 simply challenges you to know the track, know your line and drive your best. And it's much easier said than done.

For 19.99 OG 2 is a blast to play on or offline. For those old enough to play it lives up to the rest of the other Outlaw titles.

It's a marvel. I logged at least 25 hours my first time through and I hadn't even come close to seeing everything this game has to offer. Even with the games flaws front and center at times, all of the innovations and extras add up to a sequel worth crowing about.

The fact that the GBA can't even come close to replicating the original Tron arcade mini-games of the 80s is a major disappointment. One that I'm having a lot of trouble getting over.

A little refinement would have made this game feel like a breath of fresh air. Instead I feel like I'm breathing in secondhand smoke. Good for a rental and nothing more.

A great arcade game. Even a blind man would be able to complete it in a couple of hours. For that reason, just rent it.

Gamers DO NOT GIVE A %$#@ about concept art. I understand that it's an easy extra to toss in, but does anyone in their right mind actually look forward to unlocking this useless nonsense? Do they just sit there and stare at it? Who cares?

Aside from the novelty factor, the gameplay in Boktai 2 is very unoriginal. It's not much different than Castlevania but it's not as difficult.

Scripted events will literally explode around you as enemies ambush you in all directions. The resulting chaos really gets your adrenaline pumping.

The sense of freedom and discovery is lacking regarding the application of unique abilities.

Although all players must have a GBA and a separate copy of the game it's one of the best game multi-player designs that I've ever seen for the Link cable.

Much like a Weird Al song, UTS is a novelty from beginning to end and you might find that the novelty wears extremely thin after a couple of hours (in my case, much less time was needed).

"Wrestlemania X8" was hardly a perfect game but at least it was good. WWE Survivor Series sees it, but doesn't raise (that's poker lingo for your information). It resides in the shell of its predecessor.

A good game that rivals the PC versions for depth and is right at home dishing out the action on a console that was designed to push such an envelope.

Bloodrayne 2 is the perfect game for Halloween. It's a sweet, scary treat but it's over too quickly.

Falls under the "fun" category. It's full of platforming action but it's not very original. It's aimed at a younger demographic and won't provide much of a challenge for experienced gamers.

For some players this is exactly what they want and you can expect a lot of replay value out of this title if your goal is to beat them all and compete with your friends for high score.

The characters are the game's only saving grace. Recommended only for fans of the show and even then, only as a rental.

An average platformer that is really difficult to recommend to anyone other than fans of Tak. It's not bad but it's not very memorable.

A RPG that captures the excitement and fun of the Super Mario Bros series and combines it with depth found only in top-shelf RPGs. It all adds up to what is sure to be consider another Mario classic.

Despite the seemingly lewd nature of the premise, this game approaches relationships in an almost clinical fashion. Yes, there is nudity but unless you get hot looking at a mannequin without a shirt, you're not likely to become too aroused when playing this game.

Fans of the show should not be without this game. It's like being in one of the episodes.

Aside from the novelty of trying to rap a few of your favorite songs, this game is more than lame. It would be useful for up and coming rappers to hone their chops but do we really need to perpetuate this dumbed-down art form? Get the karaoke game and learn how to sing.

Robotech: Invasion isn't a great looking game but the tradeoff is that it's huge.

The moral of this story is don't buy Triggerman. Don't even rent it. It will ruin yours, and every other life that comes into contact with it.

If you're looking for a challenge that doesn't involve elves, aliens or Nazis, your hunt is over.

Mega Man Zero 3 is not really a new game, it's the result of a refinement process based on a popular gameplay style. If you can't seem to get enough of Mega Man Zero 3 will satiate your hunger.

You won't get the Full Monty here but you'll see a lot of T &A. The language itself is very explicit and you'll find yourself shocked into bouts of laughter at some of the things that come out these characters' mouths. The voiceacting is darn good and interestingly enough the characters, especially the girls, have more depth to them than you would expect.

The game is going for a more cartoonish look. It's bright and colorful with characters such as Ben Franklin which appear more as caricatures than real-life renderings. The environments are hugely three-dimensional and well detailed when you're in range.

Deception has everything an MK fan could possibly want from the heavens: more gore, more fatalities, more characters, traps, more modes and online play.

One must appreciate the nuances of such a game. This is a perfect alternative to curling up with a good book on a stormy night - although the storm could last for weeks.

I'm not sure this game will give him that dimension that he needs to compete in the mascot-rich, gaming universe but it's a spin jump in the right direction.

If you like the occasional boxing game but aren't a huge fan of Rocky then you can't go wrong renting it. The lack of an online mode reduces the replay value significantly.

Offers a virtually perfect version of the puzzle game that was hugely popular in the arcade over two decades ago.

The only thing the Dukes game has in common with it is the freeroaming nature of locating missions. Once you do acquire a mission you will find that they are of a make-work nature. The entire game is linear and the sense of freedom is only an illusion.

Only the best elements have been preserved and put to good use to continue the series. Covenant gives us great characters, a unique and fun to use combat system and a storyline that takes on a life of its own.

All of the gameplay elements seem like they really belong in the game and aren't just mini-games tacked on to pad it up. For a game that's based on underwater cartoon characters, (warning: pun alert) it's got a lot of depth.

Freeze Frame Frenzy is short and sweet and most probably not for you.

The novelty of the controller could be compared to that of the lightgun. You don't really need it but once you play with it you can't live without it.

With the inclusion of the Eye Toy and a few new mini-games, Dance Dance Revolution Extreme is more than just a dance game, it's a revolution.

The only thing you need to know about Monster Hunter is that offline it's about as fun as an allnight marathon of infomercials. Online is a different story entirely. If you don't have a PS2 network adapter then don't even waste your time.

It's relatively easy and straightforward. It's a great introduction into the turn-based role of the RPG for any newbie or casual gamers.

A deliriously, delicious, surreal dream. It's a totally unique game, the likes of which have never been seen. It would have made a better arcade game give the rather short length of the gameplay but at twenty bucks, owing it isn't much of an issue.

The enemies were incredibly intelligent. Antlions would not only attack you in a mad rush straight on but they would also construct sand traps and wait for you to walk over them whereupon they would attack you from below.

For a game with such a compelling and original storyline it's too bad that more care wasn't taken to ensure other elements of the game would reflect that originality.

It definitely has its moments. Unfortunately those rare moments are located between episodes of utter repetition and boredom.

The "RPG" elements in this game refer to the leveling up of your mutant heroes. Rest assured you won't have to spend countless hours going on useless quests to find the magic vinegar and water to clear the smell out of town hall and nonsense like that.

It's a totally generic game, almost the action equivalent of a kart racer.

Taken as an interactive movie it's not so bad. It's engrossing but it's not engaging. I felt as though I were watching a show and not so much a part of it. Definitely a renter.

GP Legends will go a long way in providing hours of racing entertainment for the F-Zero buff. It's easy to get into and allows a lot of racing growth as your experience increases.

Battlefront works because it's not an overly complex game. Within the confines of a FPS, you won't have to learn a lot of button combos and other complex configuration.

It's mindless repetition, frenetic gameplay and attention deficit visuals is the epitome of shallowness and yet the involving storyline contradicts everything that's happening onscreen. It's a paradox. A dichotomy. Ah, whatever it is, it's a hoot while it lasts.

Purple Haze, at best, is a rental. It's short and lacks any replay value. There are no multi-player modes and the entire experience is about as realistic as a Disney theme ride guided by Andrew Dice Clay.

Whereas the first game was a side-scrolling brawler, this version is more of an action platformer.

Whatever magic that was used to create the original Sims, the most popular computer game of all time, has not only been recaptured but the dosage has been cranked to lethal proportions...It's better than the original and all of the expansion packs combined.

There's always something to do in this game. The pace may not be frenetic and the challenges are relatively easy but they are well balanced making the gameplay appear random in a realistic way.

It's also incredibly challenging. You might want to purchase another controller just in case you hurl your present one at the wall.

Another problem that I have with the game is that enemies will respawn in empty rooms. As soon as you think you've cleared a room of enemies there will be another round of them mysteriously appearing from the ether.

It's not a mere continuation, it's a reincarnation. If you liked the first one, you'll drool all over yourself while playing this one.
