It's not groundbreaking, but it doesn't have to be. Kids don't care about that. They care about having fun playing it, and I think that is where Activision has succeeded here.
-
A great movie adaptation and very good choice for younger gamers -- or anyone who needs a Christmas present for a younger gamer in a hurry.
-
DreamWorks' Shark Tale is a Jack-of-all-trades for gameplay, but is a clear master for none of them.
-
It offers plenty of fun through various different game play styles and retains the hip style of the movie.
-
A mediocre release.
-
But pretty pictures and good audio don’t always make for a pretty good game, as gamers both old and young can tell you from personal experiences. The gameplay is what counts, and in that sense, Shark Tale doesn’t quite hit the mark.
