  1. Its technical shortcomings are easy to ignore and once you grasp the unique gameplay, it turns out to be quite a lot of fun. Definitely recommended for fans, they're sure to have a ball.
  2. Even with relatively few RPGs on the GameCube, Falsebound Kingdom's relatively simple approach isn't that captivating - unless you're a Yu-Gi-Oh fan who is a newbie to the RPG genre. [Jan 2004, p.141]

All of the elements were there to make this an addictive and challenging title. Instead, it's a slow-paced and confusing jumble.
  4. Please don’t buy this game. Not for your kid, not for you. It’s not worth it. Get them more cards or something. They won’t get anything out of this Yu-Gi-Oh game other than story.
  5. The special attacks look crap and make no sense. How can you possibly electrocute a skeleton? Dry bone doesn't conduct. Someone wins. You're bored. The end.

The Falsebound Kingdom is almost a prophetic title as this inferior product is forced upon the multitude of loyal supporters that are blind to the deception and exploitation employed by the Yu-Gi-Oh Empire.
  7. There just didn’t seem to be much care put into this title, and if I were a fan of the series, I’d consider this title a slap in the face.

This game was Great! AWSOME! Windwaker on the other hand is the epitome of evil. The cell-shading they used makes me puke for eight days! This game was Great! AWSOME! Windwaker on the other hand is the epitome of evil. The cell-shading they used makes me puke for eight days! Ocarina of Time was the best game ever. I didn't expect Windwaker to be better, but they could have at least tried! Oh, and by the way, Yugioh The FalseBound Kingdom was a masterpiece! A shining example to all other RPG's, and believe me, I have played A LOT of RPG's! This game's story was also exellent. Most games don't even have half of the story this one had. If you want a challenging yet fun game, inlayed with a rich plot and first-class gameplay, BUY THIS GAME! Expand

Yu Gi Oh Falsebound Kingdom was by no means a perfect game, but you could tell there was some work put into its development. The large rosterYu Gi Oh Falsebound Kingdom was by no means a perfect game, but you could tell there was some work put into its development. The large roster of monsters and the inclusion of many Yu Gi Oh cards as items, made the turn-based/strategy game really interesting. While the graphics aren't for everyone the gameplay is quite entertaining and the replay value is adequate for completionists, especially because of the three different story modes. This may not be perfect but it is a fairly entertaining game, definitely recommended for fans of the series. Expand

I'm a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh, but I was dissapointed by this. I was hoping it would be like the card game but with animated graphics. But no, I'm a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh, but I was dissapointed by this. I was hoping it would be like the card game but with animated graphics. But no, it is a repetitive and requires no stratagy. story is meh. my score should probably be lower. Expand
