Resident Evil: Dead Aim Movie 4
Score distribution:
  1. Positive: 10 out of 28
  2. Negative: 3 out of 28
  1. Instead of being a series savior, Dead Aim is more like Pete Rose finally admitting he bet on baseball. Too little. Too late.
  2. 80
It'll nonetheless scare the living crap out of would-be heroes and haters alike. Diverging from tradition, this is the game that finally puts the gun survivor series on the map.
  3. While the game isn't nearly long enough to be considered a true Resident Evil title, it's still up to five times longer than other light gun shooters, is more immersive, looks better, and gives more incentive for replay than other light gun games on the market.
  4. 69
Dead Aim did something we didn't expect -- it made us want to play it until we beat it (a feat that previous Gun Survivor versions made us cringe over).
  5. Whilst Dead Aim is executed sort of well, it just doesn't have anything memorable, is too short to be an engrossing one-player game and doesn't have many compelling reasons to be played through time and time again, because of the adventure elements, that are somewhat boring if you just want to shoot and shoot.
  6. The attack patterns are pedestrian, the level designs confined and the environments repetitive. The third-person adventure side to the game fails to progress beyond ‘find-the-key/unlock-the-door’ business end of the genre.
  7. The game does scare with quick zombies and limited lighting, but there's not much play to put this on target.

A great game, suspense from the beginning, superior to the other RE details.

It's without a doubt the best light gun game I've played by a long shot, and should really be compared to others in that genre. It's very refreshing not being restricted to rails like every other one such as Time Crisis/Virtua Cop/HOTD series, and not a mere shooting gallery like the Point Blank games. As for it being worse than previous RE games, that's simply a matter of opinion. Everyone's sick and tired of the RE series' mechanics, which thankfully, FINALLY (about damn time), were mostly dealt with in RE4. And of course, Dead Aim. No it's not as long as previous RE games, but it's not nearly as annoying to play either. And it's actually lengthy for a lightgun game. Expand

Is games atmosphere is really good on the ship and the safe music they use is will relaxing I think it's my second favourite Resident EvilIs games atmosphere is really good on the ship and the safe music they use is will relaxing I think it's my second favourite Resident Evil saving music.

The graphics are atmospheric and dark and I really like how the main characters Nick looks like it's broke most of the cutscenes. It makes it a bit more hilarious.

The enemies are hard to take so many bullets there. Do you have to avoid most of them and save ammo really need it which is a good way of making the enemies scary to fight

The story is short and sweet just like the game it took me 1:48:52 time to complete it and I enjoyed it and when you know that this was made by the same creator of Drakengard it's truly amazing.

If you in any way find this game interesting, I would say play it.

It feels like an alpha for Resident Evil 4. Surprisingly, there are some similarities. Overall, the game is mediocre. Everything from visuals, gameplay, characters, monsters, etc. The plots and characters are basically rip offs from main entry games. Go figure this game is spin off and nothing more. It's decent.
