   Greetings, fellow Armored Core fans.. Just to start off with, five buddies and I have made it a holiday every mon-wed. (All day/night) To Greetings, fellow Armored Core fans.. Yes we have four large tv's, four Ps2's, and a computer with a rockin bass for tunes of nothing but hardcore, heavy techno ext. (Its just adds to the thrill when dodging, flying, or over-boosting your way to victory..) This game is a must!! As well as Silent line, in which I've had totally paid off since March. I mean now you can aim at individual limbs on a mech!! Like take out a persons head and there goes the radar function.. (heheh heh) I am really devoted to Ac and anyone who says that it is hard to (Control) a mobile suit in this game doesn't (obviously) know up from down. Really, the controls are great! They let you have full mobility of your mech, recently though my friends and I have been playing with just sword designed mechs. My latest one tops out (After I use my extension for 2 good power refills) at 3455. The arms Mam-Mx/Ree have thee fastest reaction speed, -400- great for a sword mech. My blade of choice is the Mlb-Ls/003, trust me when I say that this mech can out-fly almost any missile atk. (Unless if I wasn't watching them come) As for the best arena to fight in... Its gotta be the marine base, two player, two screens ext. Its huge!! Try Over-boosting then before your power hits redzone click the extension Keep-Mallum on and you will be outta there! Now of course the Moon-Light is a very damaging left arm weapon, but it lacks speed which is effective when battling each other with only sword mechs. Also, here is a good tip if you haven't already figured it out. Ok, now you want a fast mech right? Not like Steel Battalions Juggernaughts? And yet you desire weapons right?? Well try making a mech, just the frame and body as well as engine, fcs, radiator ext. I use the Cgp-Roz, cause with the optional part Op-Intensify you can really let go of you as well as your mechs limitations.. Meaning you won't be waddling around getting shot at. So anyway, after you have outfitted your mech. You (One at a time) affix it with a weapon. Like start out with an extension and left arm unit, if you can fit them with your fast body. (Hopefully its wieght is between 3000-4000) Then un-equip them both. Then equip a back weapon or a right arm unit. (Single, one at a time) Are you beginning to understand what I'm saying? Ok, well once all that is over you will be over-weight when you begin a battle. Simply drop whatever you want as long as you know what your doing!!! See, I have a Karasawa on my mech, and that?s it. Until!! I am done using it! Then I am fast and I have a very powerful weapon, drop that weapon and just get another one that you've recently prepared for your mechs design config. Although sometimes my friends take one of my weapons or vice versa, but that?s to be expected!! Hahahaha ha! Well anyways, I have beaten all the Ac games that have come out, so I have been transferring data to the next. One day I hope somebody will make a huge gaming convention that is all about Armored Core.. As well as playing it!!!!! Aaaaaa... I have also been reading reviews from gamer magazines, and the supposed experts are like.. (This game starts you out with a bad mech, making the rest of the game bad? Wooow guys, you need to sit down and play it before making false statements about a game which rivals most any other in its league today, or how about the controls are bad or hard to use?! These people have to be like 40! (I am 19 since Dec) Its a new generation of gamers out there and it doesn't take much brain power to be using all the buttons at one time! If you are going to over-boost [Right analog] then go back and forth dodging shots or missiles while shooting back, taking off the over-boost cause now your in range and swording a opponent all the while avoiding his own blade. (If he has one equipped) If you can't do that and more, than this game is more than likely not for you! But I think you must be pretty good at Ac cause you are reading a good faq about it, and you know what I mean when I say that gamer magazine reviews suck!! Then I've gotten the point out I wished you to receive.. Oh, and I couldn't figure out how to paste in my own pic so I was stuck with a [G] But hey, maybe it stands for Good green stuff? I am out of things to say about this great game, but I leave you now with a favorite past-time that we do here whenever we play Ac3. (Soon to be Silent Line!) And that?s whenever we begin a battle against one another, we greet.. Yes we greet, it is especially done when we battle it out on the marine base. First we drop off what we wish, then fly to the center pillar/ramp and stand next to each other.. We do this cause we are there to greet.. Hehehee he, after all.. How else are our pilots going to get out to pass the... Oh yaaaaaaaa!!! And that is why Ac is such a superb game, until we meet again.. Dark Raven signing off.. Puff, puff.. … Expand

   This game is awesome, the ability to destroy an opponents weapons adds a new layer of strategy and the 800 ammo machine gun is a dream. And although the dual stick controls in AC4 are nicer you can make the controls more responsive by setting the d-pad/left stick to turn and look, and the face buttons to move and strafe then setting the shoulders to perform the remaining functions.… Expand

Anyone who says differently is not a AC Pilot worth facing in versus. The new part and quirky new general tactic among the arena opponents is made for a brand new experience. I didn't know you could target parts of an AC until Dark Ravens Response and that is killer, literally. Gotta find out how to do it, though.(doesn't say in the manual). I started on AC3 and since I first played the game, I have been recomending it to a lot of people. The AI is not bad and my bro actually got one so good, he couldn't beat it! The controls aren't all that bad in the AC games. They may be a little restricting, but after playing you get used to it. One tip to newbies; don't get too confiedent in yours skills or you will be decimated. Happened to me after not playing for a while. Anyone who like control or a selection should get the game. I end my rant with this valued proverb of mine "kill,kill,kill and go insane, but too much and the failed misssion will be your blame". For now, Dktpaintballs@aol.com P.S.
