Persona 3 is a masterpiece mainly due to its amazing story. Still, Atlus has managed to improve not only the visual aspect of it, but also every other little thing in order to turn what was once a niche game into a full timeless gem. It basically features the best battle system within the entirety of the Persona series, which is supported as well by a new UI that looks simply stunning. Overall, Persona 3 is a game that will steal the players' hearts both through laughter and tears.- Areajugones

Infinite Wealth improves on everything over Ichiban Kasuga's first entry. The RPG elements are well polished and expanded and the secondary content such as Dondoko Island or the Sujimon hunt is hilarious, absorbing and well worth your time. Overall, Kasuga is just a great new main character, and the main story manages to strike a proper balance between a ton of comedy... and drama.- Areajugones

Tekken is back at full force with a very solid eight entry. This next step for the franchise is full of content that resonates with Tekken's own historic legacy. Whether it is the amazing character design, both visually and mechanically, as well as through its many family dramas, Tekken 8 just knows how to do it all. The Iron Fist Tournament is definitely as good as ever.- Areajugones

Another Code: Recollection is an excellent video game full of improvements and with a ton of mystery, and it will please even those who already played the originals. It has kind of a slow start, but it doesn't take too long for the game to get back on its feet, thus giving a second chance to an IP that had long been forgotten.- Areajugones

An excellent video game but not so much as a remaster, since the original video game already looked absolutely stunning in its original release. However, if you are amongst the few that did not play The Last of Us Part II when it first came out, then playing this entry on your PlayStation 5 will be an unforgettable experience. In the end, the most remarkable asset of this remaster is found within the few novelties added to the overall content.- Areajugones

House Flipper 2 is an excellent option for players who enjoy home renovation simulators. The sequel offers a more complete and satisfying experience than the first installment, with a variety of new features and improvements that make it a must-have title for fans of the genre. Overall, I believe that House Flipper 2 is a solid sequel that offers a more complete and satisfying experience than the first installment. The changes introduced by the developers are positive for the most part, and the new setting and more focused story add a touch of freshness to the game.- Areajugones

Super Mario RPG is a remake that follows pretty closely the original game from SNES, with its core actually holding up really well. What's interesting is that Nintendo has not only pumped up the visual aspect, but it has also introduced new elements so that it measures up to today's standards. On the not so good side of things is that some players may find Super Mario RPG exceedingly easy and kind of repetitive, but even so it remains a funny and joyful experience, and you'll love the artistic side as well as the OST.- Areajugones

Persona 5 and its characters definitely work within the strategy genre, but Persona 5 Tactica certainly has some flaws: the overall story and gameplay rhythm is a bit weak when compared to Persona 5 and Persona 5 Strikers. Also, the lack of exploration is something that players will definitely notice. Still, the battle system is amazingly well integrated, and you easily become addicted to it. Moreover, there's the comeback of a certain very charismatic character, and the dialogues as well as the OST are top notch. Overall, fans will be more than happy with Persona 5 Tactica.- Areajugones

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is much more than 'just a spin-off'. This entry not only provides context for Kiryu's reapparance as a headliner within the Like a Dragon franchise, but also introduces tons of nostalgia as well as some new gameplay elements. Overall, it may not be as long as the main Like a Dragon entries (but don't fret, it cannot be considered 'short'), although it stands its ground as a video game that should be considered a must-play franchisewise.- Areajugones

The Talos Principle 2 goes far beyond the concepts of video game and art, and pushes a reflecting process that in turn helps its candidacy as one of 2023's top games. It also is a far better product than its predecessor. Croteam has outdone itself with a video game that is amazingly entertaining, but that really shines because of its capacity to make the player ponder about the ideas of beauty, humanity, life and existence.- Areajugones

Ghostrunner 2 is, above all, a great video game. Strictly speaking, it is a pleasant sequel that represents a noticeable improvement in plot, playability, visuals and sound; an achievement that is, due to the quality of its predecessor, a milestone in itself. However, its profound technical shortcomings, as well as the misinterpretation of what made the original experience so genuine and fresh, keep it from transcending as much as the first, although it continues to be a highly recommended product.- Areajugones

Here is a fun and entertaining proposal that has its pros and cons, just like The House of the Butterflies. The game is a bit short (between 15-20 hours), which is not bad at all, but unfortunately it becomes too repetitive. The combat feel is good and Hellboy moves well, but everything becomes very linear and repetitive. It is entertaining and a treat for fans of the hero, the setting and artistic design are sublime, and the gameplay is good and simple, but it all falls short of something bigger. The proposal to set the story of Mike Mignola is fulfilled and hopefully it will be the prequel to many more.- Areajugones

Nintendo runs wild this time around with a ton of ideas that combine into a creative process with no boundaries, thus making Super Marios Bros. Wonder a point of no return in the series. It implies that whatever Nintendo creates next, it will feel empty and uninspired as long as it does not match the newly set bar by Super Mario Bros. Wonder. This game is in every sense a new big hit by Nintendo, with its presence being as impactful as Odyssey's back in the day.- Areajugones

Assassin's Creed Mirage aims for a pretty obvious main objective: to get back to the roots of the franchise, which implies taking away the RPG components that were gradually introduced with the last three entries.Mirage manages to recover the essence and magic of the Assassin's Creed games from the past, especially through its gameplay and plot. If you are one of the nostalgic fans and really needed a trip to the past, Mirage, the city of Baghdad and Basim as the main character are definitely what you were looking for.Although the game clearly speaks to the Assassin's Creed fans from back in the day, it is also designed for newcomers, so you won't need to have completed any other previous entries from the franchise in order to enjoy Mirage.- Areajugones

Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is a video game that struggles to answer one of the most basic questions that must be asked when considering a project of this type: who is this game for? It is a game with an incredible base, original mechanics and that offers hours of content. In itself, Payday 3 is a ton of fun, and if you play it with friends, it's even more fun. But although not much can be said bad about that base, it has been frustrated by a very bittersweet launch with constant server crashes, matchmaking errors, some bugs, among others. RE: Village is one of the most recommended games to play on PlayStation VR2 for many reasons. The first is that the base game is such a good title that if you haven't played it you should have, then another more than interesting reason is that the game can be bought for less than €30, so in terms of value for money it's a very attractive option. And then, as the initial game in the VR catalogue, it is a more than interesting piece, perhaps it was not created with virtual reality in mind, but it is one of the most powerful titles to launch your glasses.- Areajugones

The platforming game is perfect whether you play with family or friends, and it boasts a hefty amount of content between the main story, the minigames and the colisseum mode. Moreover: it includes a whole new chapter that adds up to 20 new levels while controlling Maglor, a new character with a unique moveset.- Areajugones

Horizon Call of the Mountain is an amazing title to test the potential of PS VR2. The immersion that the game achieves thanks to its setting and its graphical level is incredible. In addition, the mechanics that it incorporates, such as climbing or the use of the bow, make you enjoy from home and feel inside each battle. A game that generates very positive sensations and that is not satisfied with being a technical demo, but rather aspires to be a weighty game, being even more ambitious on occasions than the installments we know of in some of its areas.- Areajugones

Hi-Fi Rush came out of nowhere and made a name for itself in everyone's hearts, including myself. This is a rythm-action-platforming game that does almost everything well, which at the same time certainly makes up for its tiny issues. To sum up: this game by Tango Gameworks is a fresh and funny adventure that is packed with action, and that features several characters that are more than ready to take on the main stage.- Areajugones

Hogwarts Legacy is the video game I've always dreamt of. I didn't even think something like this could be made out of the Harry Potter franchise. Avalanche has dared to create something completely new, yet at the same time, It has preserved the very essence of the source material. It is one of those entries that puts everything else in a difficult position, first because it is miles ahead of everything that has been done before and second because the video games after will have quite a tough time to match its quality. Hogwarts Legacy is the video game that Harry Potter fans deserve, and one for which I was not ready at all.- Areajugones

Age of Empires II is a game that forever remains as part of your own existence. It does not matter how much time goes on, in the end you ALWAYS remember having played AOE; it is a timeless classic. You REALLY want to play this new version of the game, whether it is because you want to explore one of the greatest video games ever for the very first time, or because you are an 'old school' player that wants to re-live a glorious age that will no longer come back.- Areajugones

Dead Space Remake maintains and improves on everything that already made great the original game from 2008, thus bringing back one of the best survival-horror games in the last 20 years. The remake is masterful not only due to the improvements on the visual side, but also because it introduces new gameplay mechanics. AlL in all, it's a noticeable overall upgrade.- Areajugones

The portable version lacks some things included in the FES version that are clearly noticeable, but the gameplay is still good, the OST is simply majestic and the characters are just so charming that make up for any bad thing about the game. This is definitely one of the best stories ever told in a JRPG.- Areajugones

Persona 4 Golden is like that bedside book that you are so fond of, a world that you want to return to again and again to meet characters you even dream of. If you forgive the passage of time, we are facing a title that even surpasses the fifth installment, bridging the gap.- Areajugones

Fire Emblem Engage is a really good Fire Emblem that lacks the same difficulty progression that previous entries. The battles were way too easy at different times and some of them do not really require great strategical thinking. Other than that, overall it is a magnificent Fire Emblem, and almost made it among the best of the franchise.- Areajugones

One Piece Odyssey is a love letter that really knows how to hit the spot for fans. It still has room for improvement and a ton of potential, but ILCA has done well creating a well designed battle system. The OST is simply amazing, and the story is good enough to make sure to keep you entertained for a ton of hours.- Areajugones

High on Life has its fair share of good ideas and highlights, but there are several issues that do not allow the game to shine as much as it could. Even if the comedy aspect is exactly what you may expect from the creators of Rick & Morty, it does not work as good as in the series, and all of the jokes you come through do not really add much to the overall experience. Nevertheless, it is a fun game with characters that really help what it intends to do.- Areajugones

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is an absolutely key and necessary piece to be able to fully absorb the essence of the Final Fantasy VII remake. Although this game does not have the same depth as the official remake of the first part in terms of changes made, Square Enix has done a phenomenal job to make the figure of Zack Fair enjoy and adapt like a charm in the middle of 2022.- Areajugones

The Callisto Protocol embraces fear in a very traditional way; essentially like the saying 'if It ain't broke don't fix it'. The future of space horror games is more than guaranteed within the first step of a video game that is not afraid to look to the past; It is a video game that does not shy away from showing exactly which games inspire it.- Areajugones

The Devil in Me is the best possible way to conclude the first season of the Dark Pictures Anthology. The combination of the introduction of new gameplay mechanics as well as the H. H. Holmes inspired villain make for a horror experience that will definitely not let you down. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is exactly how you adapt years of tradition to the current design formulae. The game is living proof that each and every change is a perfect chance to take a step forward. In that specific sense, the risks that Nintendo undertook have certainly paid off: the ninth Pokémon generation will certainly be one to be talked about for years. Paldea is not about representing a culture, but those of us who live within it. I can only be proud to belong to a place that is seen with so much beauty from the outside. Long live Pokémon, long live Game Freak and long live all of those that made happen this beauty of a game.- Areajugones

Pentiment is, despite its scarce and more than simple gameplay and its few extra hours, a game that shines with its own light in a year with great releases. The new Obsidian manages to hook you with its history and all its twists, but without forgetting its social, political and religious context; Rich in nuance and depth. An obligatory recommendation for fans of both RPG's and narrative adventures, a jewel that you cannot miss.- Areajugones

If we talk about soccer simulators, Football Manager 2023 is simply perfect, the problem is that right now there is a ceiling that hasn't been knocked down for several years. For the franchise to really take a step forward, it is necessary to start improving other aspects of the game and continental licenses is a start, although somewhat insufficient. God of War Ragnarök straight blows up your mind. It is a way better game than whatever you might imagine and it is definitely the best game in the whole franchise. It actually does it all: its narrative, story-wise, the characters or gameplay, and of course the visuals; it simply is outstanding. The game lasts for about 40 hours and provides one surprise after another, it just does not make any sense at all.- Areajugones

Gotham Knights is an enjoyable experience led by Bat Girl, Robin, Red Hood and Nightwing, a bunch of heroes that fight together both as a homage to Batman and as a way to keep his legacy alive. Dragon Ball: The Breakers feels like a lackluster experience that in spite of being able to give the player some good moments, falls extremely short. It is awful from a technical standpoint, but it also misses the point on key elements such as the matchmaking or the balance between survivor and villain. The gameplay of FIFA 23 has changed to give us a slower gameplay, where the player's movement is more important and takes away weight from the use of skills. In addition, the chemistry of Ultimate Team will allow you to create more and more varied teams than ever before.
