Despite its very rough start thanks to the small but meaningful updates we've received since its launch, the PC version of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 manages to deliver the goods. This is one of the best and most enjoyable PlayStation games in years, and if you haven't had the chance to try it yet and your spider senses are tickling, now is a great opportunity to do so.- Vgames

Steep is the best snowboarding / skiing / extreme game you will find out there. Ubisoft managed to re-invent this gaming genre just like EA Black-Box did with the Skate franchise. Ubisoft understood that there is much more in these games than crazy combos and impossible tricks, and there is an audience who is looking for a more realistic experience.- Vgames

Dune: Awakening initially felt like generic survival fare but surprised with its authentic recreation of Herbert's universe in an alternate timeline where Paul Atreides never existed. The game excels at polishing familiar survival-crafting mechanics within the rich Dune lore, featuring dynamic world changes, player politics, and meaningful resource scarcity where water truly matters. While hampered by restrictive inventory management and limited progression for non-PvP players, it succeeds as an immersive licensed experience rather than a genre innovator.- Vgames

Final Fantasy XV is not the game Square Enix promised us. It’s not an open world game that everyone would enjoy, and even though it looks like they have done a great deal in making it more accessible to newcomers, it has more improving to do. If you are a die-hard Final Fantasy fan, you will have a great time thanks to a beautiful world, easy to learn and fun combat mechanics and a classic story about friendship and love.- Vgames

Square Enix's decision to separate the game into several episodes and market the game as a “Season” may interrupt with the storytelling of the game, but it also takes the game back to its roots, putting you in a sandbox full of opportunities and choices. Not all of the episodes are on par with each other and the “Opportunities” helping method makes the game feel a bit too easy and straight forward. But other than that, the game is a great addition to the series and fans of the series (especially “Blood Money” fans) would love it.- Vgames

Hellblade 2 Sinua's Saga truly feels like a next-generation experience with graphics and design that leap off the screen. The combination of a fully cinematic experience and a well-crafted world fits perfectly into the game, creating a vibrant world with a decent story based on Norse mythology. However, the game mechanics are its weakest point, with very simple and easy-to-master combat and puzzle elements. I was hoping for the same epic boss battles as we saw in the first game, but unfortunately, they never materialized. Nonetheless, the fights are much more cinematic, with Instagram-worthy moments scattered throughout the game.- Vgames

Destiny 2 is a good game; the only problem is that it never goes beyond that title. I had a very positive experience with the game: The gameplay is still awesome, the planets look a lot bigger and prettier, the loot system is great and the missions during the end game are fantastic, but the lackluster story mode, boring side missions and use of microtransactions hold it back just a bit.- Vgames

The only thing that keeps this game from becoming one of the best Character Action games ever made and a must buy for fans of the genre is funnily enough, the Nintendo Switch itself - The console and company that gave it life in the first place. Gravity Rush 2 feels like a true sequel to the original game. Kat feels and looks amazing, the world she lives in is astounding and the OST and sound design really give this game an anime movie look. Elden Ring: Nightreign is a fascinating, albeit uneven, experiment. While its fast-paced, pure gameplay moments are some of FromSoftware's best, these highs are often undercut by puzzling decisions, including an overly random progression system and the baffling omission of multiplayer. Despite offering an addictive and challenging twist on the familiar formula, impressively translating the atmosphere and world of Elden Ring into a new format, the unpolished roguelike elements and lack of a multiplayer support prevent it from reaching the heights of its predecessor. Ultimately, it's a must-play for dedicated fans seeking a new and distinct challenge, yet it might not be the ideal entry point for newcomers to the Lands Between.- Vgames

L.A Noire has remained a great action-adventure game and a strong detective thriller, filled with great cases, investigations and interrogations. The new graphics look better, though the difference is not very significant. The city of angels is alive and vibrant but barely includes any extra content. Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood expantion offers more of the same, but that's not a bad thing. Elder Scrolls Onlinehas a pretty decent formula and Blackwood is a decent extent of the core game. Companions are the best supplement for the game, that reminds me of Bioware's golden era. The random portals that force exploration and drive you sideways are solid. I wish the quest line would be less predictable and the fights would be harder to beat. But all in all this is a great DLC to own.- Vgames

Dreams by Media Molecule is a part game, part social media platform, part game design engine. The world of Dreams is infinite. The mini-games, built by ordinary people like you and me, can go from a fun indie experience to an almost full length game with a solid synopsis, creative gameplay and relatable characters. But the create mode of Dreams, where you're supposed to be building your own game and let your creativity shine, is not as intuitive as expected. Tutorials feel endless and tiring and the user interface isn't friendly and takes a lot of time to master, or be mildly controlled. Dreams lets you build your game - but doesn't promise you a fun experience while doing it.- Vgames

Black Ops Cold War is a good game, no question about it, but it's also a warning shot for Activision in regards to the Call of Duty franchise. Lego Horizon Adventures is pure fun, heartwarming and light, but still gives room to some challenge for those who seek it. The voice acting is absolutely amazing and feels different from the origin, even with the original voice actors. The story is spiced with tons of humour, which made me actually LOL a few times. But its still a bit repetitive, and suits better for short-sessions after a long day. The Co-Op mode was a bit of a bummer since whoever pays Aloy will always be the "leader" and make other players teleport to their place instead of having an immersive gameplay for both players, even while being mid-fight.- Vgames

Chaotic, fast, and furious are three words that perfectly describe Kirby Air Riders. What we have here is a racing game that’s anything but standard—one that breaks many of the conventions we’ve come to know and love about this long-standing genre. Fortunately, for the vast majority of the time, this game’s differences compared to its competitors in the genre manage to spark genuine interest and plenty of enjoyment. Make no mistake—this is still quite a niche title that definitely won’t appeal to everyone, but for those who choose to dive into its madness and chaos, a uniquely engaging and deeply satisfying experience awaits.- Vgames

Tales of Xillia is something of a classic, a game that for a long time wasn’t available on modern systems. In the end, Watch Dogs 2 feels like an improvement over the previous game in the series. The characters are fun to play as and interact with, all of the hacking elements have a lot more depth and make more sense, and the world feels more alive and rich than ever before, design wise and graphics wise. However the game does suffer from mediocrity in regards to its shooting mechanics and stealth sections. Is it a fun game? Yeah, sure it is. Is it one of my games of the year? Not really.- Vgames

Prey is a fine experience that while engaging and fun, has its fair share of downsides and faults. The story could be more complex and deeper than the shallow story that was presented to us and the PS4 load times can be really frustrating at times. But the gameplay is fun, and the story, while shallow, is still engaging.- Vgames

Shadow Labyrinth is a celebration of the beloved Namco yellow ball brand, however it feels like a wasted concept with lacking visuals and a lacking story. This game has the potential to be a cool action game with interesting designs, but it needs more.- Vgames

WWE 2K Battlegrounds is a fun arcade wrestling game, far different than the sim we know and love (or hate). Its got tons of different modes, arenas and wrestlers to choose from, each with his own special abilities and signature moves. Some moves are missing, its got a lot of bugs and the micro-transaction ruin your progression, but it doesn't change the fact that this game is fun, and it doesn't need to be anything else.- Vgames

The focus on open-world gameplay was a blessing and a curse for Rider's Republic. It's still a good game, sure - but a little more focus of Ubisoft's side, and it could have become something truly special.- Vgames

Although it does not fulfill its potential to the end - but it is fun in an exaggerated way that will make you pick up the controller and in a moment be... two hours later.- Vgames

Jusant has all the ingredients of the best indie games. It shows with how much love it was made in its touching story, impressive sound design and one of a kind gameplay. But Jusant so relying on its climbing that unfortunately you will not be able to enjoy it if you don't like the way the game treats it, and the boring first half hour doesn't do justice to the rest of the game. Beyond that its a smooth climbing to great heights which make the game a very cool experience.- Vgames

Days Gone Remastered delivers exactly what a remaster should: For newcomers, it’s the best way to experience Deacon’s rugged journey through a rich, freaker‑infested world, complete with a gripping story and a refreshingly rough-around-the-edges protagonist. For returning players, however, the modest visual tweaks and bonus modes don’t add enough novelty to warrant a full replay unless you’ve been away from the game for years.- Vgames

Twelve Minutes is a niche game that won't suit everyone unless you are in it for finding every single detail. I couldn't explain to you why this game is really good without spoiling it to you. It could get repetitive and it's soundtrack is forgettable, but the cast of actors will make it all worthwhile.- Vgames

One Piece Odyssey is a refreshing change on a formula we learned to know up to this day from Shonen based anime games. It could have been better, but even with its flaws it a more than solid JRPG.- Vgames

If not for an extremely slow burner of a start, this game was a must-have for every tactical-JRPG fan that has a Switch. But seriously, even though the game takes a lot of time to reveal it's true power, don't let it deter you from playing what is eventually an awesome and very smart game.- Vgames

Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)- Vgames

WWE 2K22 is the face turn this series needed. The game looks incredible and the new gameplay mechanics help get new players up to speed and have some arcade fun with others. But still, even with those changes, the game still suffers from mediocracy in some places, mainly MyGM and the roster which is one of the weakest in the series.- Vgames

The new installment in the popular Assassin's Creed series achieves what it sets out to be: an "old-school" experience that veterans of the series will enjoy. I just wish there were more improvements to the basic (yet fun) formula, and that the story was a tad better.- Vgames

It's the best this series has been in a long while, and it does so by catering not to 2K fans, but basketball fans in general. The Jordan Challenges, MyNBA Era and MyPlayer modes all give a sense of wonder and fun the series lacked in the last three games. And in the next game (That needs to feature Kobe Bryant on the cover), this is the line they need to drive to.- Vgames

This is the best Dragon Ball experience ever been put to a handheld (at least if Dragon Ball FighterZ isn't coming to switch). The game has its problems like the cut in framerate and the lack of anti-aliasing, but the new additions to the game, and the great motion controls help this version of the game stand out.- Vgames

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a game with huge potential, using stunning advanced technology and stunning visuals. It aims to provide a one-to-one representation of Earth, complete with full virtual reality support. However, its launch has had technical issues like non-functioning servers, long loading times, crashes, and bugs. Despite this, the game's engaging career mode and breathtaking experiences when they work are a sight to behold. The game's performance problems and the need for more optimization, especially in virtual reality, can be a challenge. It's best to have a high-end PC, fast internet, and plenty of patience.- Vgames

I'm reading all the articles, the review, the praise, and while I understand the hype - this is a fantastic Dark Fantasy RPG with great combat and fun quest designs, it also has some of the most frustrating and infuriating gameplay mechanics I have seen in a while. They make Dragon's Dogma 2 feel like a soft reboot, rather than a sequel that improves on the downsides of its predecessor.- Vgames

This is the best portable FIFA experience, period. The graphics look surprisingly nice, the option of playing Ultimate Team anywhere is an option that many football fans were craving for and the great frame rate make this game a must buy for Nintendo and football fans. Now, is the game worth a second purchase if you have the PS4 version already? Probably not. Compared to the PS4 and Xbox One, this version is a second division team.- Vgames
