It's funny to me how a game can be so much fun that my biggest gripe with it is that there isn't enough of it. But that's exactly the case with Nintendo Switch Sports: It's a very fun, very bright game, with too little content.- Vgames

It has some major issues gameplay-wise, but other than that, that's actually one of the most interesting games to come out this year, and a no-brainer if you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription. It's gripping story, excellent writing and wonderful voice acting combined with it's short length will make for a nice 6-8 hours game.- Vgames

Anno 117 has quite a few systems that are forgettable at best or need significant improvement, but on the other hand, it does way more things well and brings a new and refreshing spirit to the RTS genre. But above all, it is a great City Builder that stands up to the biggest challenge trapping the player into the "one last thing" loop.- Vgames

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is an adventure that is recommended for those who are already captive audiences of the genre. There is nothing new here, and there shouldn't be any. It seems that the studio knows who its audience is and what they like, and chooses to invest the time in a good story, an excellent soundtrack and graphics that will simply carry them along properly and not continue.- Vgames

Metal Slug Tactics knows exactly what its mission is and executes it perfectly. The emphasis on being an arcade game from the 80s makes it too short and feels like it doesn't fulfill all the potential it has - but it's a small price to pay for the coin you put into the machine to enter this time tunnel.- Vgames

Middle Earth: Shadow of War can be defined as “The game Shadow of Mordor should have been.” The game is good and fun on the one hand, its new and improved Nemesis and Gear systems are wonderful and make its epic combats even better, especially the siege battles. On the other hand, the game suffers from a bad narrative and wrong division to acts, despite its great plot, and the many side missions begin to feel repetitive at some point.- Vgames

A lot of the fun, enjoyment and replayability of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit depends of the buyer, which can be a both a good thing and a bad idea. Still, even with the lack of true and viable multiplayer (unless you have the cash), it's a solid Mario Kart game.- Vgames

WWE 2K18 is a big improvement over the last iteration of the franchise. The gameplay is great and the new MyPlayer mode is better in almost every way. Almost everything I would like to get from a remake is indeed present here, and even more: much better graphics, a very important fixes of the camera movement, a new soundtrack, a facelift for all the menus and even new scenes. The problem is, if you've already played the original game, the remake isn't worth your money, unless your memory is completely wiped and then the lack of replayability value isn't that critical. But if you haven't played the original - it's an excellent, exciting and scary game for fans of the horror genre and choice-based games. I want to believe that the developers are working on fixing things like the crashes and bugs of all kinds, because you can clearly see that a lot of love was put into this remake and there is no reason why they won't continue to improve it.- Vgames

Sonic X Shadow Generations experience can be summarized as follows: If you've never played Sonic Generations, this is undoubtedly a great opportunity to try it out, as it was and remains great even after the remastered version. As for Shadow Generations, while it's a definitely cute game that manages to renew and restore Shadow to its greatness, if you don't need the content provided with Sonic Generations, you won't necessarily find the investment in this game to be good and satisfying - and I'm sure Sega understood this when it decided to include it in another great and beloved game of the brand.- Vgames

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a good, but not great. The combat is fun, the music is phenomenal and the huge and lush world of Alrest is a joy to venture through. The latest installment in the series suffers from several issues, most of which come from a sense of blandness and flat characters that fail to engage. At times, it feels as if the game is trying too hard to avoid offending anyone while still aiming to be universally liked, which makes it feel cautious rather than bold. Far Cry 5 is a mixed bag. On the one hand, you get a dark story about an extremist group taking over a town. On the other hand, you get a bear named Cheeseburger who smiles while mauling his enemies. Atelier Resleriana is a nice commemoration for the 25th anniversary of the series, it is however a bit of a step back from what Yumia had to offer, it is not bad, but it puts the future of the series in question.- Vgames

The game looks miles better than its PS4 and Xbox One counterparts, but a fresh coat of paint and better animations can't fix the biggest issue NBA 2K21 and every other 2K game in the past 4 or 5 years have: Microtransactions.- Vgames

Saints Row is the perfect solution for those who seek to scratch that GTA 6 itch. The plot is extremely enjoyable and brings the series back to its roots just as i hoped it would, mixed with supreme cutscenes filled with action and energy. And speaking of action, as much as i like shoving grenades down someone's pants and tossing them to a group of enemies, the combat system just feels like it fits to a game released a decade ago. Overall, the game is a lot of fun, and that is all that matters.- Vgames

Graphically, it's still a poor experience, with a very weird design and bad technical aspects. But the overall experience was nice - the upgraded difficulty was a welcome change, and I had a ton of fun watching my favorite Pokémon come back.- Vgames

Dirt again presents fun rally races but at the same time fails at the same point: It's kind of the same game that came to exhaustion fast and thrown away to play a new game.- Vgames

I never thought I would actually recommend a first person shooter that runs in 720p and below that and in 30FPS, but here I am actually liking the game. Doom is still Doom with the fast paced action we all know and love and the great music and OST. It's true that there are some framerate and audio issues with the game but still, kudos to Panic Button for creating this amazing port.- Vgames

In the past years we have seen a lot of great and ambitious attempts at the Beat-em-up genre. Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of The Dragons is mostly a step backwards towards more traditional arcade ways, and it pays of in his unique, quite rough-like, take on the story - whileֲ the basic combat and non-existing other game modes making the game feels empty.- Vgames

Overcooked is still one of the best couch co-op games, even with the troubling framerate and weird bugs on the Nintendo Switch. The game keeps the excellent and chaotic gameplay of the original versions of the game, but with the addition of new DLC with harder levels. The game needs to iron out its technical problems before I can recommend it, though.- Vgames

This is a game that I quickly forgot and probably won't play again. The online mode has hardly worn out because of the bugs that turn every attempt into one long Crucio curse. As of now, I don't see the justification for its price and releasing it as a standalone game. Others will try to find solace in playing with their favorite characters, while regular players will simply move on.- Vgames

Everything that makes Hitman 2 a good game, also makes it a boring one. You still have the ability to be anything you'd want to be - a silent, smart assassin who can forge anything in this world into his weapon, or an assassin that likes to leave some mess behind him and run away. The absurd part is, despite the endless opportunities to advance and complete your tasks, every mission feels the same, and you can't play 2 missions in a row without having to catch a break or go back to whatever else you have to play. Hitman 2 proves that even creativity could be boring, which is truly a remarkable accomplishment.- Vgames

With 2K, I hoped that Playgrounds 2 will be the street-ball game that we all waited for. Except for bringing some new players into the game and implementing a customization system with their hated VC points, nothing of my wishes came true.- Vgames

As a game in the series, No More Heroes 3 is the best one yet, with a tight story, great gameplay and excellent OST and voice acting. But with very bad graphics and dated open world gameplay, it falls way below the send off Travis Touchdown deserves.- Vgames

For a AA game, Matterfall is not that bad. It features great combat which requires both physical and mental agility. Other than that, it lacks loads of content. If you can overcome the hard-to-control mechanics and the long loading times, there is no doubt that you are going to enjoy that game, but only on the short term. If you are top-score hunters, Matterfall is the game for you. If not, you should probably look for another game where you destroy aliens.- Vgames
