Escape From Ever After is a brisk, 16-hour Paper Mario–style RPG that the reviewer feels surpasses its inspiration through sharp, genuinely funny writing and excellent balance between combat, puzzles, and platforming. Despite a few rough edges in timing-based inputs and platforming precision, its fast pacing, forgiving difficulty, and energetic, saxophone-driven soundtrack make it a standout, must-play entry in the genre.

NBA 2K18 could’ve just done nothing at all, and simply upgrade some textures and update the new team rosters. But it did try and elevate the series to another level. Some things are a lot better, like the neighborhood for example, but the mediocre MyGM mode and the heavy reliance on microtransactions hold it back a bit. It is still a great game by any means and is still the king of basketball games.

Even though Resident Evil 7 Biohazard ditches the third person point of view to a first person and a more intimate story, it does an amazing job of bringing back its roots which made the series so successful. For Honor is a great game, held back only by some minor flaws and technical difficulties that Ubisoft can and should tend to. The story mode isn't the best I've played and the matchmaking could use some tweaking, but even with its problems you can't take away the fact that this game has one of the deepest and rewarding fighting mechanics we've seen in a while. For Honor demands you study the ins and outs of the game and excel in it, and those who do will get an experience without an equal in gaming right now.

This is hands down, the best Musou game for the Switch, and a great action title. When Square Enix called this game: "More Than a Remaster", they we're exaggerating in the slightest. Barring some questionable VA choices, this is an absolute blast of a remaster, and a game that would please both fans of the PSP classic and newcomers alike.

This game, or interactive movie if you prefer, is a great experience for horror fans. The story, gameplay (minimalistic as it is) and the acting are some of the best I've seen in this genre yet. While there are some things that do break the immersion, it's still an experience for lovers of visual novels and horror fans alike.

Graceful Explosion Machine is indeed a hidden GEM in the Nintendo e-shop library. It has an addictive and incredibly simple yet complex gameplay, amazing replay value and is extremely cheap at $13. The lack of Co-Op multiplayer does hold it back sometimes and as does the variety of worlds.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands does have it's faults, but all in all - it's a good game and you can really see the love and care that were put into it.

Atelier Yumia is a fantastic renovation to an aging series of jrpg games that needed an update, what didn't get an update tho, it seems, is the engine, which at times looks not amazing and the open world tends to not work properly and slows the frames to a crawl.

Piposh is undoubtedly an Israeli gaming industry icon, and this 2021 does it justice. The dialogs are hilarious, the voice acting is incredible and the story is fantastic. It could have been amazing with a little more polish, but the talent and heart were definitely there. A job well done.

Donkey Kong Bananza is without a doubt the true launch game for the Nintendo Switch 2. It's a very fun and super satisfying game that will give you many hours of endless enjoyment featuring excellent destruction mechanics, a cute storyline and huge amounts of things to collect. At the same time, it's not a perfect execution, being hurt mainly by a lack of polish when it comes to performance and annoying camera issues alongside a distinct sense of lack of challenge, a collection of negative features that manages to somewhat cloud the overall experience.

While the combat is a bit dated and a bit on the easy side - it's still fun and it complements how great the story, characters, and music are. Couple all those with one of the best-looking games on the platform and you get one hell of a remake.

Morbid Metal is a promising debut with a combat system that earns real respect. Screen Juice has built something genuinely worthwhile here - a fast, expressive, multi-character action game that holds its own alongside its clear inspirations, even if it hasn't matched them yet. The roguelike structure introduces limitations that blunt some of that momentum, the bugs in the current build are disruptive in a system where precision matters most, and the story hasn't yet justified its ambitions. But the foundation is strong, and Ubisoft's decision to back this small German studio looks, at least so far, like one of the smarter calls they've made in a while. The full release could be something worth getting loud about. [Early Access Score = 65]

RuneScape: Dragonwilds is an ambitious spin-off that brings the charm of RuneScape to the survival genre, set in the dragon-filled, mysterious continent of Ashenfall. In early access, it offers a compelling foundation with familiar skill systems, creative base-building, and innovative magic mechanics, but stumbles with a thin story, optimization issues, and clunky inventory management.
