    NieR Replicant ver. 122474487139... is a true masterpiece. Toylogic has managed to polish all the areas in which the original title failed, offering this time a practically rounded product, putting the cherry on top of a splendid story and a soundtrack that, for sure, we will listen to outside of the game.

    For someone who plays videogames just to have fun, Nier Replicant can be a brutal experience with its slogging pacing and busy work questing design. Behind all that rubble there is an amazing cast of characters that perform in an incredible emotional story, full of great conceptual themes that stick in your heart and mind days after the finale.

    NeiR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… is an improved remake of an okay game. The changes that have been actioned are impressive and they in turn make the experience all so much better. Just be aware that many of the basic elements that held back the original are still present.

    A great game to discover (or rediscover) Yoko Taro's world and the atmosphere of the NieR series. The remake work is not among the best and certainly some choices are questionable, such as keeping the tedious fetch quests, but it remains an exciting and valuable epic and that's why it's a recommended game to play.

    A welcome revamp to a more than decade-old cult classic, NieR Replicant ver.122474487139... will be equally inviting to Automata fans, NieR veterans, and newcomers alike. Only a lack of variety, a lightweight combat challenge, and disappointing boss encounters put a downer on proceedings.

Graphics are good, solid framerate, musics a very nice though a bit repetitive. Never has a game had such an impact on me, very powerful story, a must play for any ARPG fan.… Expand

    Fantastic story with excellent voice acting that will have your interest and that will stick close to you.
    Super quick load times on the Xbox Series X.
    The arranged soundtrack does what I felt was impossible, it improved on the original in just about every way.
    Fantastic boss fights that are very cinematic.

    Cons:
    Side quests are fetch quests.
    Can get repetitive after the second playthrough.
    The improved combat system makes the game easier.

    NieR Replicant 1.22+a bunch of numbers is a great remake of the original game. It fixes all of the major issues with the original. The original, while a great story was marred by clunky combat, dated ps3 visuals that had awful lighting and other issues. It is how the original should’ve been and it is the second chance that I felt NieR truly deserved. If you loved automata, play this because it’s just as great now.    … Expand

    Il s’agit d’un remaster de la daube d’origine, à savoir le Nier de 2010, lequel était -on ne peut le nier- une daube épouvantable de J-RPG deIl s’agit d’un remaster de la daube d’origine, à savoir le Nier de 2010, lequel était -on ne peut le nier- une daube épouvantable de J-RPG de merde. D’ailleurs, comme d’habitude (et ce NR ne fait pas exception à la règle), les J-RPG n’ont absolument rien des vrais jeux de rôle dignes de ce nom ; ce ne sont en effet que des jeux d’action et d’aventure, rien de plus !

    Toujours est-il que de subtiles mais sensibles différences sont apparues dans cette ‘réplique’ du jeu original qui le rendent beaucoup plus supportable. Bien que les défauts et les mauvais tics demeurent, impactant fortement comme jadis le gameplay et le rythme général de ce pseudo-jeu de rôle à la godille.

    Le plus important changement concerne l’option de combat automatique qui s’occupe de tout ou presque ! entièrement paramétrable, cette option permet de rendre les combats (beaucoup trop nombreux) nettement moins pénibles et chiants. Elle permet aussi d’accélérer significativement les combats contre les (trop) nombreux boss, des combats absurdes et grotesques qui n’en finissent pas, par défaut (mais toujours plein de défauts, soit dit en passant !).

    D’autant que la sauvegarde ne se fait qu’à des endroits précis dans le monde de pacotille de Nier Replicant, devant des ‘boîtes aux lettres’ mécaniques. Et en plus, le jeu ne prend pas en compte le Quick Resume ! Et d’autant plus qu’en outre, les passages de plateformes avec le double saut pourri qui ne marche qu’une fois sur deux sont à s’arracher les cheveux !

    L’histoire reste évidemment bizarre mais suscite toujours la curiosité… et pourtant même à la fin, elle ne tient toujours pas debout (surtout avec ce rebondissement sorti d’on ne sait où) et titube dangereusement vers le fossé d’inepties qui l’attend patiemment… Signalons que graphiquement, ça reste correct et que la direction artistique ne manque certainement pas d’originalité ; la jolie musique est -globalement- tout à fait réussie et participe à l’ambiance bizarroïde.

    Toujours est-il que finalement, c’est une impression particulièrement désagréable qui prédomine… S’il est moins mauvais, moins chiant que Nier certes, Nier Replicant reste souvent pénible et lourdingue avec par exemple (j’allais les oublier, celles-là…!) sa liste interminable de missions secondaires qui consistent à faire le coursier comme un crevard ! et son histoire (pas trop niaise) s’avère en fait bien bidon en fin de compte. Bref, encore une déception !    … Expand
