Dec 6, 2022Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is almost undeniably the definitive version of the 2007 action RPG, as despite its issues it still succeeds at presenting the player with an unforgettable experience.
-
Dec 13, 2022Ultimately, CRISIS CORE REUNION is a great game. It lands the story beats, and the combat feels good. Fans of the original experience on the PSP will find themselves right at home here and new players will have a good time, especially if they like Final Fantasy VII as a whole.
-
Jan 3, 2023If you played the original Crisis Core and are looking for an excuse to revisit the game, the remaster is definitely the ideal way to play it as everything has been updated to current generation standards. This remaster also doesn’t change much from the original story, so you don’t have to worry about the canon of the series either.
-
Dec 29, 2022Crisis Core Reunion is a very good remaster of a portable game, which, apart from intervening quite well in the audiovisual aspect, manages to successfully modernize its combat system, making it accessible in today's era. It's not perfect, its age and portable origins show (especially with the limited maps), however, it's quite enjoyable and will certainly satisfy fans of Final Fantasy, and JRPGs in general, who don't have 100 free hours to get to the finale.
-
Dec 8, 2022Crisis Core Reunion is a thoughtful, high-quality remaster of the PSP classic. The main story remains melodramatic, but the revamped battle mechanics deliver lots of baddie-bashing fun.
-
Dec 6, 2022The release of Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion is excellent news for all the fans of what has become a full-fledged franchise, thanks to the phenomenal success of FFVII. But be careful, you have to know what you're getting into: if the remaster allows you to enjoy this prequel with a new visual comfort, the few adjustments made by the developers are not enough to hide the great age of a formula. For the endearing piece of history it offers, fans should be able to get past it, but it might be much more complicated for everyone else.

Dec 26, 2022Brings back a lot of memories from my childhood. It was my first FF game that I played and I didn't know anything about FF7 back then.
