AWE is basically more of the same.It has great action sequences and dark atmosphere. Control fans will feel straight at home. However that does not compensate on it's lack of innovation and poor puzzles. It is by no means an Alan Wake sequel but its kind of a start. AWE is a relatively short expansion that would only fit control and Alan Wake die-hard fans.

While being a good first shot at the gaming market, AEW Fight Forever has too much mediocre parts to make it a good competitor for the WWE 2K Series.

I don't know what happened during the development of Forspoken, but this can't be what they were aiming for. The traversal, story and graphical elements of the game all suffer from the same issue: untapped potential.

Days Gone feels like a medium quality candy in a very high quality wrap. It’s extremely beautiful and starts off brilliantly, but lacks the ability to maintain the tension and interest over time. With some good combat and lots of content, but a boring story and repetitive gameplay, Days Gone never unlocks its full potential.

Rocket Arena is a nice, fun game, but the lack of content and balancing issues it has, really bring it just short of seeing its full potential utilized.

Megaton Rainfall tries to pass a god-like experience which fails even on VR. It got the right base with community eager to super-hero games that will break boundaries. Despite all that, The game isn't fun enough, it just left me with a huge VR-sickness and tied-up cables.

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a fun puzzling game if you like both Puyo Puyo and Tetris and you get something more. Unfortunately it is not a very impressive game and feels cheap at times, the biggest problem is the lack of cross play on top of a small community.

This new party game is not all bad, with some good mini games, and incredible presentation, but the lack of content coupled with unstable online and weird 2 player cap on single couch play, prevent it from reaching it's full potential.

The epilogue is quite good, with an amazing performance by Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Shang Tsung, but with only 3 new characters and no other substantial bonuses, it's hard to recommend with expansion to MK11 owners. New players get the deal of their life though.

Dawn of Ragnarok marks the end of Assassin's Creed for me. The graphics are still beautiful, and the combat is somewhat challenging, but the story itself and anything that was ever unique in the AC series is just gone. If you long to play as Odin again you might find some interest in it, but I doubt the almost-full-priced expansion you'd end up buying will make it feel worthy. Dawn of Ragnarok is the last straw for me - The assassins need either a brand new leader, possibly not even Ubisoft, or to be left alone.

The game shows great potential, but in its current state, the game feels a little half-baked. It needs more types of enemies, some better story missions and a much better net-code, in order for me to enjoy the game at its fullest.

Kamiko sets up to be a nice little Legend of Zelda clone with great gameplay. Does it capture the same magic Zelda did, though? Not really. The game lacks the same charm and sophistication these games had, and falls short in the length department. But still, it's a good game with fun gameplay that you can play on the go and with a price tag that low I can recommend it to fans of the genre.

Styx: Blades of Greed is mostly a disappointing experience. While it does provide some excellent stealth gameplay elements, a weak story and terrible optimisation ruin every other aspect that might have redeemed it.

I will very freely tell you how much this port is not as fantastic as this game is, the decision to release this port as soon as possible could potentially hurt what is otherwise a fantastic JRPG game and unless the Switch 2 is your only console of choice, I'd play this game elsewhere or wait for future updates.

While very far from perfect, Ninjala has a good foundation to build on, and create a truly great online experience.

Love Star Wars? If your answer is an unequivocal "yes", there is definitely a place for a game like Star Wars Outlaws on your list of games - even if the execution is lacking.

While Sonic fans (me amongst them), would certainly love this game, it does have its drawbacks that make it a good, yet kind of forgettable game. Still better than Sonic 4 though - by a landslide.

This is a good remake, adding some good things to the formula established by the original SNES game. But there too many moments of tutorials and boring dialogue that bog down the pace of the game.

Lollipop Chainsaw is exactly the same unforgettable experience from 2012, for better and for worse. It has all the problems that games had at that time, and adds horribly embarrassing sound errors - but with them also adds a new sense of nostalgia and love for games as they were used to get made that will leave you room for one more candy.

WWE 2k17 is very disappointing, and it has a lot of unclaimed potential. The graphics aren't all that good, especially the audience. The ranking system of the Online doesn't work well, and the game is full of bugs. On the other hand, the special abilities are great, the customization system is wonderful and the special games modes are perfect.

Sea of Thieves came with a big promise to give us hours of content and a fun open-world using a funny and non-serious environment. It succeeded in delivering the open world and funny feel but missed the content. Eventually, it depends on what happens next with future updates from Rare.

Hollowbody aims to pay tribute to early 2000s horror games but falls short of its goal. While it occasionally shines with well-crafted puzzles, it struggles to capture the essence of its inspirations. The outdated aesthetics and lackluster combat detract from the horror experience, and the disjointed story feels pieced together from various ideas. Despite these issues, Hollowbody has its moments, particularly in its engaging puzzles, which hint at its potential. However, the game's overall inconsistency may only appeal to die-hard fans of classic horror, leaving others wanting more. As it stands, "Hollowbody" feels like a project in need of a thorough remaster to realize its full potential and truly honor the genre it seeks to celebrate.

Monsters of the Deep is not very innovative with the fishing mechanic and the story is not exciting but boy did I enjoyed every second of it. From the incredible graphics to soothing sounds and music, this game is a must for everyone who's looking for a game to lay back, relax and have a cold one. Daemon battles are a blast but my favourite game type was free fishing.

Silent Hope, while being a good game, seems to be fighting with its own main gimmick of seven different heroes by making some contradicting design choices.

Pokemon have had a lot of brilliant spin-off games over the years. Detective Pikachu Returns isn't one of them. It's a fine game, but it has little to go with in terms of gameplay or even story.

Time Carnage is coming to a repleted game genre with too many rail shooters. It's not a bad game, but it's also not a good game. On the bright side - the tracking on the Move controller is very smooth and accurate.

SCHiM is a creative attempt to adapt the gameplay of Frogger to the current generation. It's full of unique ideas that sometimes work great - but in practice even the beautiful visuals fail to leave his flaws in the shadow of the experience.

God of War: Sons of Sparta is a respectable spin-off that expands Kratos' mythology with a charming brotherly story and solid Metroidvania bones - but it never quite reaches the heights of either the franchise or the genre it's borrowing from.

I had very high expectations for Ara: History Untold but they failed to materialize. The game has many very good qualities compared to other games with lots of years of experience in the genre, but at the end of the day it fails in one of the most important elements of 4X games and that is to give the player that 'one more turn' feeling that keeps you playing until the middle of the night. This is mainly due to unflexible and exhausting game systems and a very planned way of playing compared to the complete freedom and feeling of constant progress that you get from other games.

The port of Assassin's Creed: The Ezio Collection for the Nintendo Switch is good, and works quite well, but the games do show their age - Which is a shame, because Ubisoft should've enhanced them a bit. Not graphically mind you, but mechanically.

Lost Sphear is a nice little JRPG, but with all the hype that surrounded it, I believe that nice is just not enough. The soundtrack is awesome and most characters are funny and cool, but the rest of the game screams mediocrity. For an indie title, that isn’t a bad game, but for a Square Enix published title? Not good enough.

What a waste of a good game by Naughty Dog and Iron Galaxy. What should have been a celebration of one of the best games of all times coming to PC, turned into a disappointment after getting a mediocre PC port. Play the PS5 version.

Despite having high hopes for Hot Pursuit's new remastered version, I found it to be just another mediocre Need for Speed game, using the name of the veteran series, without actually living up to it.

Yes, this is still the best way to play a simulation of the beloved sport, but with each passing year it seems like there's less and less emphasis on the Basketball itself and most of the time and effort go to improving "The City" and the microtransactions filled "MyTeam". You know - the fluff.

Biomutant is a game with a true great potential but it just misses the mark on so many aspects. I hope to see Experiment 101 try to develop another game and see this potential through, in hopes that I won’t be disappointed again.

If you never played the original, my advice is to try it out before buying the upgraded version, because most likely that the base content here will be more than enough.

The battles themselves are great, with the game treating them as puzzles the player has to figure out. But the slow open-world gameplay combined with the subpar graphics and story keep the game from being truly great. Sometimes less *is* more.

Bugs, technical issues and lags simply hold this game back from being a solid FPS. The gunplay is good and some of the maps are really great, but the game lacks some of the things that made Battlefield, Battlefield.

This... isn't a good game - but it is still a fun one. Yeah sure, the controls are slippery at best, the open worlds are quite barren and the soundtrack is far below the standard for a Sonic game, but the absurd story, pretty visuals and the fact that it's just fun running around makes for a jolly good time.

Sonic Forces is uninspiring and disappointing. The game excels with its’ great music and robust character design, but most of the levels have been lazily put together, the story is rushed and the graphics are subpar. It is not a bad game, just feels OK-ish. The guys at Sonic Team should look at this game and improve going forward.

Revenge of the Savage Planet is an exploration-first game that rewards very little in terms of actual exploration. With barebones systems and a lot of busy work, i just can't recommend it.

Thunder Ray is a polished game - while it lasts. The absence of other game modes, including a scoring system, makes this a good, but extremely short experience.

These are OK ports, sure, but they could have been a lot better: With barely passable graphical quality and mediocre performance, these ports surprisingly fall behind those of another game published by Square Enix on the Switch - NieR:Automata - a high speed character action game. Now that's a twist.

Pokemon Legends Z-A is one of the most disappointing Pokemon games i have ever played. Besides the wide variety of creatures to catch, some QoL changes and the Mega Evolutions - there's not much else to find enjoyable in this experience.

I came with high expectations, and I left disappointed: Grime II is not a bad game or, God forbid, bad, but it does have quite a few problems that, for me at least, were quite difficult to digest. There are some good decisions here, including a combat system that feels more fluid even when it's actually quite slow, a storyline that might enchant you, and exploration areas that are designed correctly as long as it doesn't involve Fast Travel. So is this a game I can recommend? Basically, yes, if you like the style and the fact that this is an Israeli game, I totally see a reason to invest your time and money in it, just know in advance that there are quite a few problems here, and that it's not exactly the standard of quality you expect.

While the remake part is great, with fantastic visuals and awesome music, the rest of Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX didn't age well, with cumbersome gameplay mechanics, some questionable level designs and annoying bosses.

Ben 10: Power Trip had the potential to be very good, being an Open-world game, but it's uninteresting combat, combined with it's short length and lackluster missions, means that it just can't live to its premise.

Khaos Reigns is a very bland and boring story expansion, with the addition of only 3 new characters (with 3 more guests to come), it is a very expensive package for what we are offered, at this point it's recommended to just wait for the ultimate edition of the game to come out with all the dlcs.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is a very problematic game, that game at a very wrong time for Activision. Bad maps and uninspiring multiplayer and zombies modes are accompanied with a good story to create the game that needs to challenge both Halo Infinite and Battlefield 2042 for the throne. As a long time series fan - I wish them the best of luck - they're fighting an uphill battle here.

Like other reviewers and players, I too really wanted to like Chocobo GP. But in the end, it's lackluster gameplay, weird design choices and absolutely despicable microtransactions make it a subpar experience - even if I my time with it had its moments.

Overall, The Inpatient is a mostly disappointing. The game tries to take the background story of Until Dawn and upgrade it using the intriguing "Butterfly Effect" system. Despite its dreadful atmosphere and the unique VR perspective, the story of The Inpatient only gets weaker as you progress. The lack of interesting characters, short lifespan, unchallenging decisions and poor controls makes it feel half-baked.

Human: Fall Flat, is a nice puzzle game with funny mechanics that make the first few hours engaging and good but after that the game can get quite frustrating and annoying. The game experience is improved during Co-Op plays, but in regards to the game as a whole, Human: Fall Flat, falls flat.

Lost Soul Aside is an action-RPG that promises a thrilling blend of Devil May Cry-style combat and Final Fantasy-inspired aesthetics but only partially delivers. Its generic story and flat characters fail to captivate, while the world-building lacks depth. Visually, the game impresses with vibrant environments and stunning boss designs, though technical issues and dated textures detract from the experience. The soundtrack shines, enhancing the atmosphere, but lackluster English voice acting disappoints. Gameplay is the highlight, with fast-paced, stylish combat and memorable boss battles, yet repetitive enemies and a linear structure hold it back. Despite its potential, Lost Soul Aside feels unpolished, making it a fun but flawed experience for action game fans, earning a 5.5/10.

Rico Rodrigues returns once again to his island homeland of Medici. While exploring new areas, armed with a giant mech and a gravity gun like weaponry to aid to the total chaos and destruction. Mech Land assault DLC falls on the same trope of its original release. Repetitiveness ensues almost immediately.

Again we were promised a lot but again it seems that the whole is less than the sum of its parts. Yes, those who liked the original game will also enjoy the expansion just like me, I have no doubt about that and it is definitely a wonderful way to add another 10 hours, depending on how fast you are, I'm just not sure it's worth another $30. At the end, there is no pain like the feeling of finishing a game that you have invested dozens or hundreds of hours in and for a moment you are not sure how to continue. I didn't feel that way about Starfield in the base story, and unfortunately not in the expansion either. I forgot almost it and immediately and moved on.

A fine story and the return of some old favorites can't mask what is a poorly coded, poorly optimized and poorly performs new area. They could have taken the time and effort to fix problems with this DLC, but instead they made some things worse.

There's a sort of tradition to COD games lately - every couple of years we're getting a game that is absolutely lazy and unoriginal. Black Ops 7 is one of those games.

Fallout 76 isn't your typical fallout experience. You don't have NPCs or dialogue, but instead get real players that should fill this void - that ultimately fails to do so. It does some things right, but as of now I cannot recommend getting this game as long as it stays a broken and boring mess that it is right now.

Darksiders 3 tried something new with the series yet again, but unlike it's two predecessors, this game fell flat. The only redeeming factor here is the combat, while the graphics and unfitting hard difficulty hurt it.

I think 2K needs to adapt to a new model, I believe that they need to stop launching the same game every year, and instead start to push towards updating the existing game every year. 2K21 is the best basket sim you’ll get to play, but I could’ve said the same on 2K20.

Who would've thought that in 2024 we would actually get Skull & Bones, after 11 years in the oven and it still feels incomplete, unserious and it is pretty boring. Whoever is looking for a fun pirate experience, can already find it elsewhere.

Brawlout tried to differentiate itself from its inspiration, but ultimately the changes it made, took their toll on the overall experience. The omission of blocking and grabbing is weird and the online could be better, but it’s still a fun game, albeit a bit underwhelming.

Jump Force is a great game - if you only play it for 2 hours max. The graphic design decisions make your beloved anime characters look like cheap action figures, the story missions are bland, boring and repetitive, and the combat system is mostly flashy animations rather an actual challenge - it's just too easy to win once you get to know the controls. Seems like the developers were targeting a younger audience, since Jump Force just isn't worth your time while there are games like Tekken 7, Naturo Ninja Storm & Dragon Ball Xenoverse out there, which offer an actual challenge compared to it. Jump Force offers a big anime crossover... but nothing else.

Even if I ignore all the bugs, glitches and disconnects I had, Anthem is still, by and large, a mediocre game. The lackluster story, loot system and gameplay make this game one to pass on. At least in its current state.

Stunning visuals and a well-thought story cannot compensate for this game’s lackluster gameplay. Recurrent frame drops, detached development decisions and generic fight mechanics make Gotham Knights nothing more than a disappointing grind-fest and serve as a stern reminder for the cruciality of player feedback during the development cycle.

Concord is a hero shooter game that came to the scene 8 years too late, it doesn't renovate the genre in any way, just another live service game to the live service well...

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is a bland, boring experience that brings nothing new to the table and goes as far as to make the franchise stray further away from what made it unique years ago, a ghost of its former self.

The snowball that started rolling in Black Ops: Cold War has reached its biggest form, which is basically its lowest point yet. A game that's good on the surface but is laced with the constant feeling of disrespect to its fans and consumers. How the mighty have fallen.

Drawn to Death has tons of potential, so it's a shame to see almost all of it go down the drain. The game promised a cool and fun arena style shooter with tons of funny and creative weapons and characters, all with the amazing sketchbook art style. What we got instead was a shallow game, full of unnecessary profanity, mostly useless weapons, forgettable soundtrack and an annoying announcer. The art style is cool and the arenas and characters are fun to look at, but even they can't.

Mafia 2: Definitive Edition is a complete mess. It's technical flaws and lack of effort hold it from being a great remaster to an otherwise fantastic game that still manages to shine 10 years later.

Scorn was one of my most expected horror games, after a long while, what we got is a fairly boring game with bland mechanics and mostly just environments. I wish this would be an experiment for Ebb Software, but there is just so much wasted potential here which left me with just disappointment.

VR Karts features nothing but being an exclusive karts game on the VR platforms. The gameplay isn’t tight enough, it lacks original fun content and even the power-ups are totally boredom. With so many good karts game on the gaming history, it’s surprising that a game developer will deliver such a bad experience.

Balan Wonderworld is a very ambitious looking game, and yet it manages to accomplish very little. I was very much expecting a new IP I would enjoy and ended up sorely disappointed by it. I don’t know what Square Enix's higher ups are thinking right now, but I'm guessing that it's not “This is the next big thing".

As a kid who grew up playing licensed video games, it hurts seeing what GameMill is doing to this sub-genre.

Goblin Slayer -Another Adventurer -Nightmare Feast is a game I'm just not interested in recommending. If you enjoy visual novel games, you might find some enjoyment out of the concept and the combat, but otherwise, don't bother.
