    Many years after these events faded to memory, seven rainbow-colored lights flew from the Abyss. These rays of hope appeared before the Princess manifesting themselves as seven heroes, ready to answer the Princess' call for help.

    Silent Hope is a lenient hack-and-slash title that'll keep you entertained grinding for everything from materials to classes! If dungeon crawlers are your type of game, this one was very fun.

    Silent Hope is a dungeon crawler where you take your time as you learn how to utilise seven heroes. With a variety of playstyles and skills available to you, you will slowly fight your way through the dungeon. Patience is the name of the game because it will get repetitive even with the variety to stave it off. You must grind your way towards stronger characters and equipment. But if you give the game a chance, there's a solid dungeon crawler that can keep you entertained for hours.

    Silent Hope from Marvelous feels like a long-lost 3DS game resurrected for modern platforms in the best way possible. The aesthetic, music, charm, and core gameplay loop come together nicely, but it will not be for everyone. I've enjoyed my time with it despite the few flaws on Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch.

    There’s a first-rate game buried deep within Silent Hope. But tiresome combat and hub world busywork prohibit players from ever seeing the game’s potential. The trend of tuning a game to pad playtime rather than delivering a sense of fulfilment claims yet another victim.
